This place was great. The prices were very reasonable and sushi/sashimi was super fresh.We walked in as a party of 7 and we got a little bit of everything on the menu. The standout items were definitely their sushi, sashimi and rolls.The ramen was also good and most of their appetizers were solid as well. The fried tofu was a little bland.Overall it was a great experience and we def will be coming back or at least ordering takeout from here. This may become our new go-to sushi spot in the neighborhood. The only knock I would give them is they were understaffed. Our server was super busy and they forgot our salad and miso soup appetizers that came with two of the meals, and water refills were sporadic. Even with those little minuses, the overall experience was great.

Newly opened Japanese spot in fidi. To enter, you walk down a flight of stairs and the restaurant underneath is quite sizeable. They offer a broad menu, including classic Japanese appetizers (gyoza, karage, tacoyaki), sashimi, maki rolls, sushi, donburi, ramen and some entree dishes. We ordered the salmon deluxe which was a decent portion, the salmon in each piece was nicely sized. We also had the Nassau roll which was flavourful and pretty. The crispy rice was also a winner and larger size than I would expect. For dessert we tried the Yuzu tempura cheesecake - which is a fried cheesecake. I probably wouldn't get it again but it was interesting!

This new spot is an absolute gem! I came here on a Monday night with a friend, and while it wasn't too crowded when we arrived, we noticed a steady flow of people coming in as we ate. The hostess greeted us warmly, setting a great tone right from the start. The restaurant has a very cool underground vibe--it's located downstairs, and if you sit by the wall, you can even hear the subway passing by, which adds a unique, urban touch. The atmosphere is cozy, the decor is stylish, and the entire space is spotless, including the super-clean bathrooms.We ordered ramen: my friend had the chicken ramen, and I went with the tonkotsu ramen. Both dishes were incredibly flavorful, and I couldn't help but slurp mine up to the last drop! The menu offers an impressive variety, including sushi and tempting lunch specials, which I'm definitely coming back to try. To top it off, the staff were sweet and attentive, making the experience even better. I highly recommend checking this place out--great food, great vibes, and an all-around welcoming spot!

I love Japanese food and couldn't wait to try! When I arrived I parked on the street and the parking was very hard in this area. When I finally found parking I walked into a cute restaurant. I was greeted and sat and served by Jimmy and he was good. I ordered the cab and that was good. For food I got:Chicken Karaage BunChicken Yakitoriseafood ramenshrimp teriyaki The food was tasty. I loved the chicken karaage bun the most. The ramen was good but the noodles were a tad chewy. All in all I had a good experience!
