Delicious modern Korean food in K-town! The inside of the restaurant is lively and bustling with lots of large groups as well as smaller parties. The service was really fast and kind. When I went, I got the mushroom japchae, the lamb galbi, the seafood rose ddeokbokki, and two cocktails (the Osamil & an espresso martini). Everything was delicious. I think the biggest hit at our table was definitely the mushroom japchae, which came as a surprise. It was smoky and full of mushroom flavor that paired so well with the japchae. The seafood rose ddeokbokki was a huge portion with tons of mussel, shrimp, and other seafood. And, the lamb galbi was juicy and the veggies paired with it very well. The only thing that I would note there, was that the lamb was a bit too gamey for me. Nonetheless, it wasn't bad. Overall, great spot and I would love to come back to try some of their other menu items!

Nice vibes, but the food is kind of meh. Wouldn't come back when there are so many other great options in K-town. Seafood pancake - Pretty solid flavor, and had a nice crispiness, but nothing too specialClam soup - It was spicier than I expected, but I really enjoyed the flavor of the soup. It was light and not too oily, so I felt that I could actually drink it. The problem for me was the clams--they were way too chewy (and resulted in so much of it getting stuck in my teeth)Braised short rib - This was a ripoff. When ordering this, I thought it would have been more like galbijjim--probably should've done some more research beforehand oops. For the price, the amount of meat was tiny, and it wasn't tender as I would've liked. The vegetable pieces were also undercooked, though I did like the purees

Def an innovative and modern Korean spot in the area! Looks super cute and intimate. Food was overall on par. Appetizers might be better than entrees since I only got 1 app and 2 entrees. - cured shrimp 4.5/5: kinda like a sushi? It was sweet, raw, super fresh shrimp, this was hands down delicious esp for someone that doesn't like uni, you don't taste the fishy uni and goes well with it actually. Would highly reco trying this but it's only 3 pieces - Kimchi fried rice with added wagyu steak 3/5: this was rather disappointing... steak was tender and good but barely any taste... fried rice was on the sweeter spectrum and barely any Kimchi taste and lacking pieces of kimchi in the fried rice. I think I could count the number of kimchi in the fried rice bc it was very minimal - pork shank 4/5: would reco trying this! Great portion to share as it is very big and meaty but wasn't really impressed with the taste. Loved that the meat fell right off though and all the banchans that came with itDidn't get to try the drinks but they did look very appetizing and super delish. Would come back to try the other appetizers and maybe their drinks too. The vibes and service were great!

My partner and I had a lovely date night at Osamil. We were intrigued by the Korean gastro pub menu, particularly the pork shank. We ordered a few dishes and split some soju to pair with them. We enjoyed all of the dishes, which included the squid fries, beef tartare (some of the best marinade we had with it), the seafood rose tokbokki dish (for got the official name) and the aforementioned pork shank. Our favorites were the tartare and the pork shank (huge portion - we took half of it home and it crisped up nicely the next day). I really wanted to like the seafood rose tokbokki, however a few times we got bites with the clove still in the sauce, which ruined the bites. If they took out the cloves post cooking, would make for a nicer dish (and probably would be out #1). Also - they should really explore having a dessert option on the menu - would make a great way to end the meal!Overall enjoyed the food and will probably be back to try some of the other dishes!

Amazing authentic Korean food, great drinks, in a super cozy and warm environment. Staff is also extremely friendly! Will definitely come back often :)FOOD:Chicken Wings (8/10) - Really solid Korean fried chicken with a good sauce. Great dish that goes well with your drinksBone Marrow (6/10) - Solid dish and the bread that comes with it is toasted very nicely. Slightly too cloying for my taste.Kimchi Fried Rice (9/10) - Extremely solid kimchi fried rice!! Very great dish to help round out your meal

Yum!! The perfect place for late night small bites and some drinks (we had soju). The daenjang foie gras mousse was the highlight and they gave quite a lot of it so we ordered an extra side of toast! This helped with how the dishes are a bit on the smaller size in terms of portions.

My bestie had been raving about this spot forever, and finally, we made it happen for a super cute girl's night out! Highly recommend making reservations especially on a Friday and Saturday! I kicked things off with the *Lost in Seoul* cocktail, which was absolutely delish. At first sip, it felt a bit tangy, but a quick stir made it perfect. It comes with a gummy bear! It's adorable and a vibe all on its own. All the drinks look so beautiful! The happy hour goes till 7pm and even applies at the table--not just at the bar--so it's a total win! Now, let's get to the main event: the food, which was so good I would rewind time just to savor it all over again. To start, we ordered up squid fries, soy & garlic wings, and the spicy pork skewers. If you're a spice lover, those skewers are a must! The wings? Crisped to perfection and oh-so-flavorful. The squid fries were spot on, especially with the sauces. Honestly, we could've doubled up on everything and still wanted more!Pro tip: if you're rolling in with a crew of 3 or more, go for two orders of the kimchi fried rice with hangar steak. Trust me, you'll want to. Overall? SO GOOD!

Very busy there! A group in front of me had just left because they couldn't be seated. I lucked out with a bar seat. I recommend making a reservation if you're with a group. Bartender was very uninterested in being there but cute so I guess I forgive him. I ordered a mocktail which he passed on to someone else to make. Overall too sweet for my taste but it's pretty common at restaurants that focus on cocktails. I wish everyone served Ghia so it's not a hit or miss for me. For food, I got chicken wings and fries as I wasn't too hungry. All very greasy and nothing as a standout, not even the sauce. I think their star of the menu is the shank which I've seen brought over to other tables. It's huge! You need at least 3-4 people to share it. I'd like to come try their other dishes to give a second chance.

Very important, they are very strict about the 5pm opening time. Popped in right at opening without a reservation and we're lucky they were able to accommodate us for exactly 90 minutes. Dylan, our server, was very patient with us while we tried to figure out what we wanted to order and peppered him with questions( everything was delicious and we had oodles of leftovers.
