Intimate spot in Chinatown. Only four people during dinner. Each item came out pretty quickly but didn't feel rushed. I think the first last few items were my favorite. Service was very friendly. Lovely experience.

Not a great experience. Our reservation for 1.5 hours somehow turned into 30 minutes. Considering the fact that we paid over $300 for dinner for two, I did not appreciate the feeling of being rushed at all. Additionally, I felt that it was deceitful how they only offered $8 bottled water without mentioning the free tap water. Unfortunately I was not thinking in the moment and accepted it.They charged my card an additional $20 than the bill stated and I had to wait days for a refund to the original amount. The food itself is fine. It is a more experimental type of omakase, which I enjoyed, but the other factors really took away from my experience. I've had way better omakase for less and won't be back.

'Twas a pleasant experience. Itamae DC made my experience a good one as this omakase dinner was one to remember with the unique and innovative courses that I have never had before. This was the first time I had potato chips on any of my omakase courses. Fish was fresh and exceptionally prepared. Atmosphere was different from other restaurants like this, but that is okay. Getting out of my comfort zone - that's our purpose of living, right?Itamae DC was down to earth and made conversation, which made me feel very welcomed during my dinner here. Prices are reasonable for experiences like this in the city.

Came on a Friday and had a lovely time. Seating was limited so I loved the intimate vibe.Standout pieces were definitely the stacked toro and the seared wagyu. I also loved how there were a couple of pieces with uni - I especially enjoyed it on top of the crab.Rice was a bit too cold and dry though.. maybe cause it was already later on in the night? But the fish was still solid and this spot is one of the better omakases I've been to.

Delicious omakase. A little pricey, but you get what you pay for especially for sushi. I appreciated the quality, variety and creativity. I enjoyed the pacing of the meal as well. The chef was friendly and explained the courses well, including what inspired the dish, and kept the pace going as they typically do in an omakase restaurant.

Some stand out pieces made the experience worthwhile but at this price, a one time visit is fineI really enjoyed the squid ink foam one. A long time ago I went to another omakase with a piece similar to, with bubble/foam on top, and haven't really seen a piece like that in NYC since. When it came out I was pleasantly surprised and even more surprised to find out it is squid ink! Aside from this and a few more stand outs like the oyster, I felt that this is a good omakase but definitely not the best at $128 pp. Another one that's just kind of stingy about fish and rice, some pieces felt small. while we were filled up at 17 courses, I thought this could have easily been $98 or $108 pp instead and make a lot more sense.

It was a fine food experience. However, in 30 minutes I was out.A very negative experience, they were kind but since I was almost alone, they rushed the sushi. I didn't like it.Ambiance is ok

There is a plethora of omakase places on the lower east side/east village. Omakase Sushi by No Name offers a 12 course for 88 or a 17 course for 128 dollars comparable to the other average priced places in the area. When we walked in, we were a little bit surprised by the humidity of the place. There was a strong fish smell too given the inside was hotter than we liked. Fortunately, I think it got cooler as our meal progressed. I thought it was odd that before asking what we wanted to drink, they put a bottle of still and a bottle of sparkling water in front of us.... We were ok with tap water. I think they should ask us our preference before doing that. Then they had to awkwardly take those bottles away. The fish seemed fresh despite the initial smell of the place. The quality seemed better than some of the similarly priced places. I thought the temperature of some of the pieces was off. For example, should the tamago be ice cold?If you're in the neighborhood, give this place a try but like I said there are so many omakase places in the neighborhood nowadays that there wasn't anything special that would make me yearning to come back. Also, not sure if it was because of the lack of air conditioning in the beginning, but we all smelled like fried food after we left. So don't plan any other events after.

Got tired eating stadium food at US Open and needed a place quick. This place is fantastic. For 17 course at $128 is not bad at all compared to other high end places. The chef and wait staff were super friendly and described each dish. Their signature dish is the black ink squid foam sushi. Few other sushi with truffles added. Thoroughly impressed from start to finish.

Found a new sushi spot to try and decided to come here on a Tuesday night with some friends. They had a large center piece tree with some cherry blossoms on their wall. They offer 2 options for omakase. $88 for 13 pieces or $128 for 17 pieces. We actually did both options and they came with similiar pieces, but the hand roll was different at the end for each course. The server was very attentive in refilling water, ginger and taking any additional orders. They have some pretty interesting pieces that I've never had at another omakase place that really surprised us. Would definitely recommend giving this place a shot.
