Best gyro in Brooklyn. So fresh and always on point. The spicy feta is amazing, and all the other dips were just as good. The owner Louie is great. It's a taste of Greece, here in bay ridge. Has def become our go to spot, for Greek food.PS: make sure to try the smash burger, WOW!

Love this place. Have been following the family restaurants for over 30 years. Menu hasn't changed much over the years, best place to get gyros, I love the octopus salad, souvlaki is delish and salads are always fresh. It's our go to place when we don't know what to have for dinner. Staff is friendly and Louie is awesome. You have to try it if you are in the neighborhood.

4.25 starsWe liked the gyro sandwich. they will put french fries in it for a small chargeThe handcuffs Greek fries are probably great if dining in but takeout they were soggy.Otherwise, we would definitely order again.

If you want amazing Greek food, you must go to Olives & Pita! From the delicious dips of fresh house made hummus, spicy feta dip and tzatziki they serve with warm pita, to the Chicken Gyro I had and Chicken Souvlaki my friend had, everything was absolutely delicious. The French fries were hand cut and fried to a crispy perfection. The baked potato my friend had was served Greek style with oregano and olive oil. Prices are a steal for the size portions we were served! Head over, you'll be happy you did!

The best Greek spot in BK hands down. OGs remember it as Louie's Gyro. Same place but different name. The crew here is always welcoming. The Gyros here are to die for. Be prepared with a fork to pick up the food that falls on your plate. My go to is the chicken souvlaki. Service is relatively quick. If you have time, sit and enjoy instead of taking it to go. I find everything here is best as it's made.

I walked in thinking I was going to be blown away. I walked out being less than impressed. So the restaurant bills itself as a gyro shop. Cool. But they had other things on the menu that tempted me, so I went with the four meat combo, and of the four meats, only two of them are any good. Keep reading to find out which were the two hits, and the two misses.Pork skewer: Bone dry. Minimal flavor and was like eating shoe leather. Not for those with sensitive teeth. Chicken skewer: Juicy meat with lots of flavor, the lemon comes through strong. Probably pretty good with a sandwich, but it works well solo.Locanico: Before today, I had never heard of Greek sausage. This is it. I was not a fan. Too sweet, not a huge fan of the flavor, it did not work for me. This is something I figured was going to either be a boom or bust. It ended up being the latter. Gyro meat: This is supposed to be their pride. They give you the most of this meat and for good reason. It goes down easy, and pairs well with a lot of their other foods. Put some tzatziki sauce on there because it makes this meat taste delicious. The combo also comes with a Greek salad, which is quite oily and messy, and some pita which balances out some of the wet with the dry. Definitely get a Ginger Ale to save your stomach from turning upside down. It also comes with a choice of side, I chose lemon potato wedges. Like the chicken, they go heavy on the lemon, quite strongly. It knocked me back a few feet. The service is okay. My waitress was cute and patient with all the questions I asked her, and the owner (Mets fan) was a nice guy once he observed I too am a Mets fan. It is nice to see he likes sports as a whole. Now that I know what to expect, I will choose more wisely here moving forward.

My menu choices at Louie's Gyros have been limited because well... It's Louie's *GYROS*.I've been so lucky to have had their Gyro with a side of fries. When the man and I are uber famished, we'll order some lemon potatoes, as well. The Gyros are precisely what you would want and expect in a gyro; - a pinch of crisp lettuce and diced tomato for some variation in texture- fresh, crunchy, diminutive cubes of cucumber- creamy, garlicky tzatziki sauce- close to a half-pound of flavourfuly seasoned gyro meat, encompassed by a- fresh, soft but sturdy, chewy, warm pita bread...and for just $2 more, this generously stuffed sandwich comes with a large order of french fries! Those Lemon Potatoes, though... Oh... Those lemon potatoes...You can taste the time and effort put into making these cubed pieces of tender, zesty taters. They're rich, they've got just enough seasoning, and a generous amount of lemon; an authentic dish! If these three items (gyro, french fries and lemon potatoes) weren't so scrumptious, the man and I would venture elsewhere on the menu. However, these choices are consistent "sure bets". We love Louie's Gyros, and we really think you will, too.

I popped into Olives & Pita on a very rainy day. I ordered a Pork Souvlaki Platter and I dined indoors. The Souvlaki was very good. The Pork, the Tomato's, the Pita, and the Tzatziki were all very good. The French Fries were a bit undercooked, and a bit salty. My bill with a can of Seltzer was $15.24. There is an upcharge if you use your CC. I'll be back!
