Old Fashioned Pizza

Came here around 10:30PM on a Saturday because me and my boyfriend were still hungry after our meal. The man at the register, who also was the only person working, was so friendly. Customer service was great! The pizza was amazing: the crust held, there was no flop, and for this late at night, the pizza was fresh and did not taste like it had been sitting, which is very common for late night. 10/10 from me!

Solid neighborhood spot! What we really like here are their rolls - the ones that you can fill with buffalo chicken, sausage & peppers, etc. They really load them up and they're SO good. The owner is the nicest guy ever too! We usually call ahead for takeout and he's always so friendly and helpful - a super gregarious guy that we enjoy chatting with whenever we pick up our food!

The owner is super friendly and helpful. He will make things to order for you.The pizza is great, the slices are a bit thicker than Joe's (I'm not a thin crust fan). The lasagna slice is my favorite.

Tried for the first time tonight. Very good pie with nice crust. We ordered the meatball pie and loved it!

They don't have many reviews here but there's a good amount on Google as well as Slice and the people there knew the owner so I believe they were added recently but they probably been around for at least a little bit. The guy in front is very friendly which almost startled me compared to a lot of other spots. I got a plain slice with mushrooms and the guy showed me the fresh mushroom (button I believe) before cutting it which was a nice touch. Pizza was fresh with a good amount of acidity from the tomatoes and there was a good amount of cheese but not too much. The bottom lacked grease also. I got a drink with it and it came out to around 6.70 or something similar which is pretty reasonable for the area for a good slice with a topping. I'm presuming the slice itself was maybe $3.50 or so plus maybe a buck for a topping. They were playing light rock such as Arctic Monkeys and related which is a nice change also. 4 but a quality 4 for the price.

Jimmy is great. I loved going in there and talking with him and eating fantastic pizza. This place is underrated and is one of the best pizza spots I've ever seen in ny. However, it's a good thing I like Dua Lipa because Dua Lipa's "Love Again" was played on repeat for the entire 30 minutes I was there.

Solid grandma slices here! I opted for the one with pepperoni and it was descent. The only issue is that I wish the pizza came out hotter and the cheese was a bit hard. I will try it out again. Hopefully it will be better next time.

Great slice. The margherita was thin crust, great ricotta and perfectly piquant sauce. The owner was Albanian and talkative. My kinda NYer. 10/10

Absolutely a wonderful place. The food was incredible. Like drop-dead incredible. I got 2 plain slices, a chicken-bacon-ranch slice, and some wings, all were extremely good and came out quick/fresh. Jimmy's also a great guy and really made me feel at home, not to mention the place is really quaint and well decorated making a great ambiance. I don't live too close, but I really think I might come here at least once a week from now on.

Hits all marks of a classic New York slice: thin, crispy crust; just the right balance of fresh cheese and fresh made tasty red sauce by the friendly owner ranks it above basic. I'll be back.
