Odd Sister

Walked in around 2:30pm on a Saturday with my husband and we lucked out that seats opened at the bar. We were seated right away!The ambiance is so cute and the perfect place for a date spot! It was reasonably lit and not too loud.The cocktails were awesome and so well balanced! I had the Cantua Clouds and it was light, which was what I was looking for. I'm a sucker for egg white cocktails and really loved how it was not too sweet!For my second drink, I had the Maud which was an interesting take on a Moscow Mule. You could definitely taste the Cardamom but it wasn't overpowering - also light.Overall I LOVED my cocktails at Odd Sister and would recommend it to any of my friends who come visit! Thanks for a fabulous experience and I can't wait to come back :)

Pretty crazy to see this place rated as 4 stars. The host wasn't welcoming but not rude either. She lead us to a high table since the regular tables were booked out. The servers switched mid lunch without letting us know and the first guy just vanished without any explanation or follow up. Everything took very long, to place order, to get food/drinks. The food itself was very bad. The hashbrowns tasted like the Trader Joe's ones except cooked with old oil. The eggs were grey-ish in tone. The food wasn't hot. I felt hopeful about the pancakes since they looked pretty tasty..but even that was a fail. They were burned on the outside and not cooked through on the inside. I'd rather waited in line at a nearby brunch place than eat here. Skip!

quite the fancy establishment to stop for a quick bite all by myself but that's what i did. got the tuna and short rib rice. they were both amazing but if i'd know the tuna came with so much rice i wouldn't have ordered both. i need to go back for some cocktails. the menu and drinks i saw coming out looked amazing!

Amazing bar! Had a couple great apps and an amazing old-fashioned. Super cute on the inside and the service was great also!

Service was so nice. It's a cute place. Really relaxed vibes. No one rushed us, was very chill for a nice long weekend brunch sesh. The food was just alright. Smallish menu, limited brunch items. I had an omelette which was pretty bland. I might return for a drink at the bar.

Wanted to do a little shopping and people watching in SoHo so we were walking the streets and spotted this gem. Can't say enough great things about this restaurant! It was brunch on a Saturday and we were promptly seated by a friendly hostess. Sitting across from the bar in the back of the restaurant. It was clean, beautifully decorated and had a great ambiance with candles all around. The food was amazing. Short Rib Fried Rice is a signature dish with Slow Roasted Short Rib, on top of Jasmine Rice with some amazing fresh herbs and spices. This was unique and special. The Odd Sister Burger was really good too. An 8oz beef patty with sharp cheddar, lettuce and tomato and served with crispy hot French fries. Bloody Mary's were special with the perfect amount of horseradish. Our server was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. She was very patient while we waited for my son to show up. I highly recommend this place, you won't be sorry. It's a great social experience where sophistication meets SoHo chic and yes... everyone guaranteed a good meal and a good time!

Nice spot to come for a drink/meal after shopping in the neighborhood. They have a good wine selection and plenty of cocktails (which we didn't try). A friend and I stopped here for a glass of wine and shared the hummus appetizer. Hummus was great and a generous portion, we were glad to not have ordered too much food. Lose 1 star because of the slow service. Took forever to get our drink and food, had to remind the waiter and so did the tables around us. In summary, I'll certainly be back for the convenience and the drink options.

Odd Sister is a modern yet casual restaurant. I came here for brunch. I thought they had a unique menu. I opted for the short rib fried rice. It was okay. I think it might have been too salty. However, their cocktails are great and the service is lovely. Overall, I think they are about 3.5 stars.

My experience at Odd Sister was disappointing, to say the least. I ordered a lychee martini, expecting the usual presentation with the fruit, but it arrived without it, which felt incomplete. On top of that, the drink was overly sour and unbalanced.The seating situation was another issue. The stools at the bar were uncomfortable and lacked back support, so we kindly requested to be moved to a table with proper seating. Unfortunately, our request was ignored, which made us feel unwelcome. Based on our treatment, it honestly felt like there was some bias involved, which made the whole experience even worse.Overall, the lack of attentiveness, uncomfortable seating, and subpar drinks made this an unpleasant visit. I wouldn't recommend this place based on my experience.
