If you're craving a solid New York-style slice, Pizza Suprema is the place to go. Conveniently located right next to Penn Station, it's perfect for a quick bite before catching a train. They have a great selection of pizzas, including plenty of vegan options, and there are booths available if you want to sit and enjoy your meal.I tried the pepperoni slice and the burrata slice--both were good, but the burrata was definitely the standout for me. The service is quick, and even though there's usually a line, it moves fast enough that you won't be waiting long.As a bonus, there's a photo of Anthony Bourdain on the wall--he was also a fan of this place. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area!

NY Pizza Suprema maybe one of my favorite. The pizzeria is wedged next to Madison Square Garden and Penn Station but surprisingly it wasn't too crowded. There were people in there but you can still find a place to sit. The staff are very friendly and joke with you. I told him I wanted a slice of cheese and pointed at it. He said, "Oh we have some fresh ones here instead, but if you want the old one you can have that too." The weather with a chilly wind is 17-degrees outside so I opted for fresh out of the oven batch!!The pizza was pretty good. Kind of hot coming out of the oven. I burned the roof of my mouth. My fault, not theirs, but so worth it!

For far too long, I heard many-a-Knicks fans mention Pizza Suprema as the go-to spot before or after a game. Even after attending many-a-Knicks game (mostly before COVID), I never made it here. Before finally attending a Knicks game for the first time in a few years, I had to make my way to the legendary Pizza Suprema for a quick couple slices.Yes, of course, there's a long line of people ordering pizzas. But the people here know what they're doing and they keep things moving. First, there are a ton of varieties of slices to choose from. Vegan slices, white slices, etc. etc. Way too intimidating, but I ended up going with the basic plain cheese as that's the true test for me in determining whether a pizza is actually good.Well, initial impressions are as follows:1) The slices are HUGE. 2 were more than plenty for me.2) Nice crust. Wasn't doughy and was quite crispy.3) Good ratio of cheese and sauce. Perhaps a little too much sauce, but not really an issue.4) The plain slices come out to $4/slice. That's truthfully not terrible knowing you're basically next to Moynihan and MSG.5) Seating is limited, but I simply stood up by the counter and devoured both slices.6) With the variety of slices, I'll have to try something new next time!

Almost 4 stars. It's certainly not bad, but the difference in a good, great or mind blowing slice of pizza is in the details. Unfortunately, NY Pizza Suprema falls short in delivering my perfect slice.I have been here many times over the last three decades, mostly out of convenience and/or looking for a quick snack type of situation. Though there often is a small to medium line, it does move efficiently with a few servers taking orders and one cashier handling the money.Today, I was once again in the neighborhood and needed a quick bite. Saw the line was no more than 10 people, so I decided to grab two slices. The wait in total was no more than 5 minutes. I'll give them an "A" for speed of service.Let's talk about the food. Their slices are larger than the typical pizza shops out there, so paying $10 for a regular cheese slice and a Margherita doesn't seem all that crazy in this part of Manhattan. If I was back home in Queens, this would be an outrage. LolAnyway, my cheese slice was fine. However, the crust was a bit too burnt and crack-like for me. That could be due to overheating it, but then, where's the gooey cheese that should really be stretchy when I take a bite? As for the Margherita slice, I felt the crust being better, but that fresh tomato sauce needs more zing. Maybe just a hint more salt would even help. Without that robust tomato taste, I felt the Margherita was really lacking. In the end, both slices were decent, but also left me wanting something more. Ultimately, that's why it got 3 stars.

If you want pizza that will melt in your mouth and fill you with joy, come by NY Pizza Suprema. Awesome service, a wide array of options, and clean restaurant. I appreciated all the vegetarian options, and they even had a robust vegan section. This place is super close to Madison Square Garden, so an easy commute for a tasty treat!

Whenever I'm in NYC, I always get a proper slice and I know I can always count on NY Pizza Supreme to make the experience perfect.I made the mistake this past trip and went to a random spot next to my hotel, assuming pizza is pizza. Boy did I regret that decision. The slice I had was totally mid, and I knew I would need to redeem myself the next day before leaving. Luckily, I remember that NY Pizza Supreme is located right next to the train station. So before my train I dropped by and enjoyed the most perfect slice of meatball pizza. Everything from the sauce to the crisp crust was absolutely delicious and on a cold winter day it made it feel like all was right in the world just for that very moment. They have also got more vegan/vegetarian friendly slices than I normally see at most "by-the-slice" pizza shops. Thank you NY Pizza Suprema for a consistently delicious experience. You were the perfect ending to my trip!

Was in NYC for the day and figured I would try this place which is known for true NYC pizza. It's small and authentic inside. They pride themselves as being Italian owned for over 50 years. I ordered a slice of Sicilian and a buffalo chicken. The Sicilian was great. Very thick crust that incredibly light with a crispy crust. The buffalo was unique and different but still tasty. Certainly worth trying and checking the box if you're a pizza fan. This location is directly across the street from NY Penn Station if you exit onto 8th Avenue.

Coming to NYC, I was looking forward to trying all the pizza spots. NY Pizza Suprema was recommended to us by my friends. This was our favorite pizza of all the ones we tried! The price of the slice I believe was around $6-7, which is a little bit more expensive than other spots. But, they do have unique flavors that made them interesting. The crust was wonderfully crispy and hot. The cheese was melted. The sauce wasn't overpowering and had nice flavor. Definitely the best. They do have some tables for indoor seating, which is really nice compared to other spots which are more of a to go location. The staff was also so friendly. we had stopped by on the way to our next attraction, so we weren't there for long. But the team made us feel welcome in the short amount of time we were there. We look forward to coming back to NYC and eating this pizza again!!!

It's hard to believe we scored a table at lunchtime in this crowded spot, but patience paid off. The hot honey slice was even better than I hoped it would be! The crust was crispy on the outside but still had a nice chew. Even though there was a line out the door, it moved quickly and the no-nonsense service and delicious pizza convince me the pic of Bourdain hanging over the seating area is more than just decoration. This place lived up to his recommendation.

The reviews hold up! This place is delicious. Though $7 is a lot for one slice, it does hold up. It's still overpriced, but sure, do your thing I guess. Most expensive slice I've had in the city. I got a fig and spinach dip. Fig is a must. The honey drizzle on it too? Forget about it. The crust is great. Found seating quickly. Quick service.
