Great restaurant right outside of the busy Soho hustle bustle. It's a short walk from the Dominic hotel where we stay. Our meals and selection of Italian wine or delicious. We are very comfortable eating inside or outside at this restaurant. Will definitely be back next time in New York.

Came here for a work dinner and I will definitely be back another time! Service was great and overall it was the perfect volume inside to enjoy a work dinner! Happy hour goes until 7pm on the week nights and we ordered all of those appetizers - my favorite of those was the bruschetta. The prosciutto with melon is a must order! For my main I ordered the tortellini en brodo and it was fantastic. The brodo was the perfect balance of savory and salty and was a good sized portion. The consensus from everyone was that the pasta portions left us satisfied but not feeling like we're going to roll over from over eating. For dessert we split a few items, but my favorite was the salame al cioccolato. The next time I come back I definitely want to try the lasagna or the scampi!

Pasta was very mediocre. The Parmesan was carrying. Portions were small. The service was good, also we went on a Saturday around 6/7pm and we were one of the only 2 tables occupied. The ambience is nice, it's a cute restaurant for a first date. They do have veg options tho, I appreciate that.

Loved the music, the ambience, and the wine. Oh, and the burrata is good and the tortellino in chicken stock paired well with the Bramito 2021 Umbria Chardonnay. Salute!

We were the only group at the restaurant on a Monday night and got seated promptly. I was craving pasta and decided to order the Tagliatelle alla Bolognese. The amount of meat was generous but it was lacking sauce. It was also a bit too salty for my taste and the meat was kind of dry. It would have been great if there was more pasta and sauce to balance out the dish.

Service was fine here though, and it was a very empty restaurant on a Monday evening. Just okay Italian food. I wasn't impressed to pay $30+ for just-okay bolognese dish when there are so many Italian spots that have wow'ed me in this city.

I would say more good stuff going on here than not but def a couple things to keep in mind. Service was great and I really enjoyed the food. Our waiter was attentive and our food and drinks came out quickly. On the downside, they charged for water. When asked if we wanted sparking or still water we said still. Not knowing they charged us for three bottles of water. Nyc has great tap water and they didn't advise that they were doing bottled water. Maybe a partial assumption on our part but our party was shocked she see a water charge on our bill. We assumed they were bringing us tap water and didn't expect a charge on our bill for that. Also this place overall felt a bit pricey to me. I enjoyed the food but overall I thought it was a bit much compared with other options. I think happy hour is def the way to go and overall did enjoy the experience at Nonna Beppa.

First thing you notice on the menu is that this place is actually an outpost of a restaurant in Miami. You get lured in by the suggestion of a family-driven, if not at least family-inspired, Italian dining experience, but instead you get the worst of what you've probably experienced in Miami. Confusing atmosphere, assembly line kitchen, meh portions, bare minimum waitstaff, everything is 25% more expensive than it should be... and just whatever needs to be done to grab as much of your money as possible.Plain and simple, this is a mediocre Italian restaurant masquerading as a high-end Italian restaurant. When I dined here, there didn't seem to be any front of house presence whatsoever. Setting aside the absurdly proportioned decor around the bar, the rest of the dining room is strangely decorated and is not comfortable at all. We had a gigantic AC vent (of which there are... 8? perched around restaurant) blowing on us and by the end of the meal it was turned up so high that I had to stand up and out of the way to prevent shivering. What should be a quaint-but-serious Italian restaurant ends up feeling like the "edgy second date gastropub" in a northeastern college town.Having tried four pasta dishes, I strongly conclude that the food was mediocre. The lasagna was a crusty p/reheat job. The signature dish was disappointing and flavorless. The lobster gnocchi for $38 was truly bad with an overwhelming fishy taste and overcooked gnocchi. The pumpkin stuff was pretty good but nowhere near the richness or depth of flavor demanded at this price point.Overall, a big disappointment. The fact that multiple reviews call the place "cozy" adds to my consternation.

Uninspired...overpriced...rude...obnoxious...bland...rushed...just plain weird. All the adjectives to describe the worst experience we have ever had at a NYC restaurant. Nonna Beppa, on the outside, has nice décor, smarmy manager prancing table-to-table and a lot of talk of family restaurant. We even got the "2 Italian ladies in the back rolling pasta."We had a special meal planned with all kids in NYC and ordered 3 courses. First, we had the $21 mixed salad which was bagged spinach with some parmesan. The Bolognese, presumably made by the Italian ladies in the back, had a very thin and overly salted sauce, and did not have any ricotta. When we asked for parmesan cheese, we were offered a tiny dish of pre-grated cheese. The Gnocchi with cubed salmon was bland and flavorless. After the meals are when things really got weird. We ordered nearly $100 of after dinner drinks and desserts. The desserts took nearly a half hour to arrive. While waiting, my daughter had opened a piece of cookie from our travels, and the manager threatened to charge us a $4/person "cake fee" if she did not put it away. After finally finishing our desserts, we had to flag down a server for our bill. They had overcharged us (simple mistake), but it took them another 10 minutes to correct it.The ink had not dried on the bill, when the smarmy manager walked up to our table and said, "we would appreciate it if you could vacate the table to allow for others that have reservations." We had been there for exactly 90 minutes, inclusive of the long wait for desserts/bill, and spent $500. Beyond inappropriate.Nonna Beppa is a joyless experience with mediocre Italian, headed by management that cares about extracting as much money as possible from you before they ask you to vacate the premises.
