The food was pretty good! We loved the Caesar salad. My husband liked his burger, but felt it was slightly overdone. I liked my fish tacos, but I took a chance on the fact that they were battered in tempura and they ended up a bit too crunchy for me, but those are personal preferences. The service was incredibly attentive and accommodating. I asked if there was lemonade to drink since I didn't see on the menu, so they made me lemonade from scratch! Really above and beyond! I was happy to have another drink that was more easily available, but they said it was no problem. We went for happy hour and the deals are just okay. Certain deals are really good, others aren't worth rushing over for happy hour, in terms of pricing. I'd definitely go back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for good food, good drinks, good service and a super cute vibe!

Replacing the old Quality Eats, Nightly's is a cute neighborhood restaurant. Once the hype wears down and it's not such a fight to get a reservation, I'd happily add it to my rotation.Portions are a bit smaller if you're going for dinner but if you're looking for light bites and drinks to catch up with girlfriends, it's a cute vibe.

Nightly's has been sitting pretty at the top of my boyfriend and my "must-try" list for the UES for quite some time, and we were finally able to snag a reservation--cue the applause! Here's why I'm giving it four stars: First, the vibe is chef's kiss. As soon as you step in, you feel like you've been transported to a chic night club, complete with funky artwork and photos all over the walls. You'll probably start wondering if you accidentally walked into a VIP-only soirée.Service? On point. Our server was super attentive--always there when we needed something, recommending drinks, and keeping things moving at a perfect pace. Honestly, I'd let them plan my next vacation. Now, onto the food and drinks (the real show):We kicked things off with the Misfit Martini, which was hands-down the most unique martini I've ever had. If you're into St. George vodka (like I am), you'll feel like you've found the holy grail. Don't skip it--seriously.For appetizers:- Spinach & Artichoke Dip: Tasty and came with chips that were clearly hand-picked by the culinary gods. Love it.- Crack & Cheese: I wish I had a funnier name for this one, but honestly, it was just dry. I'd have rather had a classic box of Kraft--at least that's reliably cheesy.Main course:- Fish Tacos: Fine. Not mind-blowing, but definitely passable if you're in a taco mood.- Marry Me Chicken: Really good, especially the sauce. But here's the thing--eating it off the bone in a fancy place like Nightly's? Not exactly the best date-night maneuver. Can we get a "marry me boneless" version, please?- Fries: Thank goodness we ordered these! Crispy, full of flavor, and basically the MVP of the evening. Do yourself a favor and get them.Overall, I'd 100% come back to Nightly's to explore more of the menu. It's got the right mix of style, service, and solid food, with just a few things to work on (crack & cheese, I'm looking at you). Thanks for the great date night, Nightly's! I'll see you soon--hopefully with less awkward chicken-eating.P.S. Nightly's is very reasonably priced:)

I was so excited to come here with my coworkers . The vibe at first glance was true NYC fare and I was really craving a martini. We did something brave and walked in on a Friday night (5:30 albeit). They seated us right away because it seemed they had a resy cancellation and did not give us any indication we were on a time crunch. The server came over and gave us a great little intro to the spot's history/style and gave us recommendations. I had the bistrotini which was truly the perfect cocktail. Sooo refreshing. My gals got espresso martinis and a cosmo which they enjoyed. Our food consisted of a few entrees and small plates. The carrots were a highlight and though I'm currently dairy free, the crack Mac looked yum. We decided to get second drinks and that's when things took a turn... the server came over a few times to check in and at first it seemed attentive, it became a bit pushy. Finally, she brought us the bill without our request and proceeded to come back every few minutes to try and take it away. We felt so uncomfortable and rushed. I finally asked if we had to leave and she said there was a reservation coming up. We started getting our payment in order and the bus service started cleaning off the table before we even got up.For a newer place of 4 months, there shouldn't be this level of rudeness. We were so disappointed and left with a bad taste in our mouths. As nurse practitioners we wait for our weekends and as new moms we cherish our time out. I hope this review gets seen because I want them to do well, it's truly a cute spot with good food/drinks, but the staff needs to be way LESS anxious.

I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food at Nightly's. The servers were attentive, however, I must point out the ambience. It's definitely a vibe. It's nicely decorated however, this isn't the place to go if you are looking to catch up with your friend(s) and really have intimate conversations. I could barely hear my friend on a Tuesday night at 8 PM.The food we ordered was better than we were expecting! The "Marry Me Chicken" was tender and delicious. It was pretty "safe" flavor wise, and came with a cream sauce with tarragon and sundried tomatoes. I will say, for $32, I feel they could pair the chicken with some potatoes or sautéed greens. There were just a few lettuce leaves as a garnish so that was disappointing. The burger ($30) was thick and well prepared. Quality ingredients done well. The fries were salty and delicious and there were a good number of them. They charge $5 for bread here. I wish this restaurant had better acoustics. This wouldn't be a place I'd recommend for a date night unless you don't care to hear your date! But I could see myself going there for a meal before going to a concert.

Came here last week on a whim. My friend said she was there and there was an extra seat next to her at the bar, asked if I wanted to come and I jumped right up and said sure. This place is very hard to get a table reservation for so I was very excited to try it out. The ambiance in here is on the dimmer side. There is a pretty bar area where we sat. And there is a small back area with two or so tables. It's not a big place at all but they have alot of tables. For dinner we shared the Black Tie Burger which was delicious. And for drinks I had the BistrotiniHERBS DE PROVENCE INFUSED FORDS GIN,FRESH DILL, DRY VERMOUTH, LILLET BLANC,ELDERFLOWER, CELERY BITTERS.My friend had a regular martini and another drink but I do not remember which one. The bartender was very nice and helpful. She was also our waitress. I told her about all my allergies and she made sure to tell the kitchen. I highly recommend this spot even if you can only get a seat at the bar. It's better than nothing.

This a vibes forward place. I would only revisit by going to the bar for a drink. The food was lackluster. Our chargrilled caesar didn't have any grilling to it and was more limp than actual charred to any flavor additions. The burger that was described as iconic fell flat on flavor dynamism. Go to Hoexters nearby, their bother actually slays. The marry me chicken wouldn't have me put a ring on it. It was more "date me chicken" - it was solid but not going to make me come back for more. Cocktails were solid. Good people watching. Service, meh. Even after we finished dinner no one offered us dessert. Just a really sub par experience especially for the company it holds on the same Avenue. Much better spots in the hood. This was more one night, one note vs making this a nightly thing...

Absolutely loved the vibe of this charming UES restaurant. Definitely feels like you're in a cute French bistro. Food was alright, I was expecting a bit more given all the hype, but it was still good. Just didn't blow me away. I had the salmon and we split the twice baked potato and truffle mac. The sides were a bit lacklustre -- I felt it needed more flavour, but my salmon was good.

Great vibes, great food. If you're too lazy to read the rest of the review, just order the agnolotti. We came here during their soft opening on a Friday. We did a walk-in for 2 and waited around 10 minutes. It was quite crowded so I do recommend a reservation. We ordered the winter salad, short ribs, spinach artichoke dip, and gnocchi.Spinach artichoke dip was salty but DELICIOUS. The winter salad was a bit bitter for me because of the radicchio, but it tasted how it should. Short ribs were tender but the mashed potatoes stole the show on that one. While we ordered the gnocchi, they accidentally gave us the agnolotti. Now, this was a mistake from God !!!!! because the Agnolotti is AMAZING!!!! WOW. MADE MY NIGHT AND NOW I WANT TO GO BACK. They let us keep the agnolotti and sent us the gnocchi as well. While the gnocchi was decent, I think the agnolotti was just on a different level. I had to pretend not to inhale it so as to be subtle and polite about the mistake but inside I was so grateful this pasta appeared in my life. We also ordered the martini and the tainted love cocktail. The martini tasted like a straight pickleback shot which may or may not be a good thing depending on how much you like pickle brine. The tainted love was cute but nothing too special. Regardless, drinks are solid here and there's a good range of cocktails. All in all, I'm excited about this restaurant opening in the neighborhood. Would definitely return!

I wanted to rate this place so much higher because I've heard amazing things. The staff was super accommodating and friendly, and the atmosphere was perfect for cocktails and bites with friends. However, the food was quite amiss. We ordered some happy hour bites. The smashburger was way too well done and almost inedible. We attempted to get the twice baked potato, but they weren't able to put any toppings on it when we asked - we got the loaded fries instead but they only came with a bit of cheese on top, which I felt wasn't worth it. The crack and cheese tasted okay, nothing special. The caesar was probably the best dish if I had to pick one but it was half of a romaine heart with cheese and corn dust on top. Overall, would probably only come for drinks again.
