Amazing food court in Koreatown. We had the chicken katsu with omelette rice. It was delicious. I really liked how crispy the katsu was. I also really liked the salad and pickled radish that came with the dish. We ordered from the lady and picked it up to share. The omelette rice was average. It was just egg with fried rice in the middle. It was cool to see this but honestly it tasted pretty basic (I thought it would have stuff added into the rice).

This location is right in the middle of Koreatown at 32nd Street (btwn 5th&6th avenues) in a small but fun food court with a few different Asian cuisine options. The chicken katsu omelet rice is one of my favorite menu items that always hits the spot. The sauce over the chicken is similar to a sweet and sour in my opinion. The touch of uniqueness here is that INSIDE of the omelet, which is thin and tender, it is filled with rice. It's a very yummy combination. The dish also gives you a small miso soup along with a salad with some dressing which go great with the dryer components of the rice and egg. I've also found this place to be a great start for some friends who are more picky eaters as this is a dish that presents something familiar in a different style. So if they're not quite ready for bimbap, there's a good chance of getting them to eat this! When you order your food, the cashier will give you a buzzer and you wait for it to tell you your food is ready for pickup. The cashiers are always knowledgeable about all of the dishes and can accommodate for substitutions as well. Pro tip: there's seating up stairs, but also another level of seating one floor up on the 3rd floor which is almost never completely full!

This is ideal comfort food in K-Town after a long day of work if it's school or office or you just love a guilty/cheat day meal. I've ordered various items off their menu from their rolls, donburi, poke bowl, and most especially their katsu & omelette rice.I know there are other versions of omelette rice but this one is a no frills straightforward omelette rice and katsu of your choice. They offer great sides with your main dish which is usually a miso soup and lightly dressed salad on the side (this applies for the katsu & omelette rice). My go-to order is the Chicken Katsu with Omelette Rice paired with Sac Sac Grape (sold separately at a drink section in the food court). I recommend ordering to stay because it comes out hot and ready to eat with the right amount of sauce on everything. The chicken katsu is a bit thin, which isn't for everybody, but pairs perfectly with the omelette rice and salad on the side to fill you up by the end of your meal.Since this is located in a food court in K-Town, you order at their section and receive a pager that buzzes when your food is ready. They do inform when orders are backed up so please be patient. It such a lively scene at this food court with trending and nostalgic music, conversations flowing, and food being prepped everywhere you look.Great location, great food, and overall great time by yourself or with friends to try various dishes off their menu

The worst sushi roll I ever eaten ever. The tempura shrimp was burned and chewy. Inedible. What a waste of money.

Was in the neighborhood on Thursday evening and popped in for some grub. This was my first time within Food Gallery 32, which is a Korean food court featuring a ton of great little restaurants! After perusing each more than the average person would (I was determined to leave happy!), I decided on New York Roll'n Katsu. I ordered the #34 Gyudon Beef Bowl. It was a heaping bowl of rice topped with beef, pickled radish, pickled ginger, scallions.. and for only $11.99 (before tax)! With prices seeming super high almost everywhere lately, you really can't beat that.It was absolutely delicious and really hit the spot. I found myself an open table on the 2nd floor dining area, grabbed a water from the vending machine for about a $1.50 and had myself a quick little feast in peace.

Ordered a chicken Donburi bowl which came with a side of miso soup. Portion wise it was perfect and kept me filled up. Sat right by them in the food court so I was able to get my food quickly. The people working behind the counter were very nice and friendly. And finally it was quite affordable.

Food (4/5): Got the katsu chicken Omelette rice. Overall a solid dish with a decent amount of omelette and katsu chicken with curry sauce. Price is a bit high at almost $17 for this dish.Service (3/5): They took my order with no issues. The food took a bit long at almost 15 minutes to come out but overall not too bad. The servers helped when asked but didn't seem particularly friendly.Ambiance (4/5): It's one of the stands in the Ktown food court. One of the better options but the price is a bit expensive. Plenty of seating in the food court.

Ah mazing! Great customer service! Ok so I was headed home from the movies on 2nd Ave with my two teens and was kind of hungry. We decided on a long walk down 32nd bc who doesn't love K Town? I walked into Food Gallery 32 indecisive. I was at a food festival in the past and mistook this place for (Evil Katsu) and decided I would try it anyway since my teens wanted sushi. It was cute. My son devoured the spicy tuna rolls he ordered by the time I returned from picking up my order of Salmon Don which was made fresh to order in about 6 minutes! Fresh and perfect with the crunch on the rice and this kind of rice wine vinegar sauce/ soy sauce on the side. The sesame seeds on top - chefs kiss even tho it comes like that. Simple yet filling. Salmon Don 5/5Spicy Tuna RollX2 5/5The best part was their customer service. On point. Gave me whatever I asked for which was extra soy sauce, a to go bowl, and a dipping cup that I (didn't) ask for. Score! I LOVE GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! It's hard to find a seat parking in the public eating space but there are multiple levels. Parking is impossible.

New York Roll'n Katsu's name isn't the only clever thing about this spot. Some of my favorite Japanese foods are on their menu, so that made it difficult for me to choose. Luckily, there's "split decision" items like the one I got. Katsu Kare and Omurice are a match made in Kitchen Heaven. Their Omurice was absolutely perfectly cooked, from the soft, but firm grain of rice to the medium rare omelette, this was made by a master chef. The gravy (or demi-glace) was velvety and smooth, however was terribly under seasoned and added little to the dish. The pork Katsu was also under seasoned, which was a shame because it was fried perfectly, tender and juicy pork with a crispy coating. The Food Gallery 32 is a very nice food hall. They have seating downstairs and in the loft upstairs. The table are either shared or close together, which makes it loud in there, so don't expect an intimate experience.I like New York Roll'n Katsu and will be back to try their other dishes.

Part of the Cafeteria 32, serving a range of dishes from donburi to sushi. Went with the Spicy Tuna & Salmon Poke Bowl and I'm satisfied by it. Fresh fish in a decently spicy sauce. Good amount of salad and rice in the bowl, leaving you fulfilled but not stuffed.
