We came here on a Super Bowl Sunday which the place is empty. We had reservations prior but there was no need. We had the restaurant week menu and the marinated short ribs (added $10) which tasted better than the NY strip which was dry and chewy. They had side dishes for us. We started off with the appetizer which was the two bulgogi dumplings, they cooked or meat for us. We had desserts which tasted ok. Each table has marshmallows on stick to toast for s'mores. There were no TVs here otherwise it would have been a full house on a Super Bowl Sunday. Food: 4/5Service: 4/5Ambience: 4/5

If you're searching for a dining experience that combines delicious food with a unique, relaxing vibe, look no further than Nangman Korean BBQ. Nestled in the heart of NYC, this restaurant perfectly captures the spirit of glamping--bringing together gourmet barbecue and a stress-free escape from city life. The atmosphere is unbeatable. Nangman puts the "glam" in glamping, with its cozy yet chic ambiance that feels like a luxurious campfire retreat. Whether you're catching up with friends or looking for a unique date spot, this is the perfect setting. Now, on to the food. Every dish we tried was incredible. The Nangmanmade Fried Dumplings were a standout--the meat inside was tender, and the crispy dumpling "pasta" exterior added a delightful crunch. The japchae was perfectly seasoned, with tender chicken that melted in your mouth. But the true highlight was the Happy Feast Bibimbap. This dish was a feast in every sense--plentiful, flavorful, and perfect for sharing. At only $45, it's a fantastic deal for the amount and quality of food you get.The service was warm, attentive, and made us feel like valued guests from start to finish. Nangman Korean BBQ has mastered the art of blending comfort and sophistication in both its food and atmosphere.Whether you're a New Yorker or just passing through, make sure to add this spot to your list. It's more than just a meal; it's a mini getaway. Five stars, no question!

Great food! We were walking around the block looking for food and stumbled upon this place and went for it. You can never go wrong with BBQ food, we got so many delicious food! Even my 3 year old approved! Service is a little slow, took about 15 mins just to get water . But food was worth the wait, the ambiance was nice and most importantly their bathroom was clean! So definitely worth checking it out!

We moved into the building above Nangman at the start of September and it somehow took six weeks for us to finally check out this sleek, cozy looking Korean BBQ spot.Dropping in on a Tuesday evening, we got a seat right away. The tables are set up with grills and vents (it IS a BBQ focused restaurant) but we decided on individual dishes (japchae, soft tofu stew, and a scallion pancake to share)Service is quick and friendly, dropping off the scallion pancake in a flash. The pancake wasn't too greasy, and had plenty of nearly caramelized scallions in the folds The japchae noodles were cooked well and packed with vegetables in a flavourful sauce. The tofu stew had just enough bite, with the morsels of seafood (shrimp, mussels) just tender enough. Our dishes came with three banchan (side dishes): kimchi, pickled radish, spicy leeks. I'll be back at some point to give the BBQ a try

We LOVE this Korean bbq spot! The owner is always super friendly, and the presentation of meat (with their name on the mushroom) is super nice! My son also loves getting macarons here for dessert!

Nangman BBQ is one of the best Korean BBQ spots in the city. Located on 26th and 6th Ave makes for an easy commute. The service was so friendly and attentive , which made the experience even more enjoyable. I love the store front and inside decorations.......( very cozy vibes). Highly recommend this place. Side Note : the marinated meat ( chef's kiss)

First time for Korean barbecue. We could not have picked a better restaurant . We ordered Peach Soju( not my thing) It's the food that captured my taste buds . We ordered Neorangnarne signature menu for two. Lots of food , lots of meat, lots of sides. All incredibly delicious and flavorful. Cooked directly in front of you which I absolutely loved. We enjoyed the beef, short, ribs, ribeye shoulder . With some delicious sides of pumpkins, onion, sweet potatoes, grilled peppers, mushrooms, cucumbers, pickled radish, kimchi and some cucumber wraps. Make sure when you head out to this restaurant you are nice and hungry, because they will feed you.... The quality of the meat was everything. Putting it all together with the sides was such a fun way to dine. We highly recommend that you go and then go again.

The staff was nice and the establishment is cute and clean but the food lacked flavor. No seriously- it was bad. We should've known better when we went and it was empty followed by our server recommending we try something other than our initial decision.Tried the bulgogi beef and shrimp dishes and they were very bland. I've never been more disappointed.

I came here for a friends birthday on evening and had a good time. We ordered the DoranDoran as it accommodated 3-4 people and got some soju as well. It comes with an appetizer and 5 different meats. We had the nachos as the appetizer and it was pretty good. You can only have so much before it gets soggy so we made sure to eat it quick as we drank the soju. The meat was flavorful but I felt like the portions weee a little small to accommodate 4 people. I would say it probably accommodates to 3 as we all left still hungry. There also seemed to be a beach theme in the restaurant. It gave off Hawaii vibes. Overall good food but for the amount we got and for what we paid for, I would probably get something else next time.

Went here with a large group of friends on a Thursday night. It wasn't particularly busy though it took a long time for our waiter to come over to us. He was nice though and eventually gave us what we asked for. It did seem like they were a bit understaffed as there were only two servers that night and they seemed to be struggling to keep up. The food was mostly solid. Nothing spectacular. Most of the meats lacked flavor except for one though I can't recall which one. We ended up getting two of the "Onggijonggi" which included an assorted array of meat and appetizers. The duck was quite oily and not big fan. Their happy birthday song was also quite loud and obnoxious--it sounded like we were in a Chuck E. Cheese or something every time it played. I don't think I would come back.
