Nan Xiang Soup Dumplings - Koreatown

Fantastic lunch. All the dumplings we got had juicy, savory fillings and chewy, silky wrappers. Such comforting and beautifully prepared dishes! Would recommend everything we ordered:- Xiao long nap- shu mai- pan fried pork buns- scallion pancakePrices were also quite reasonable and I was thrilled to see nian gao (stir fried rice cakes with pork and mustard) on the menu. Remember to drizzle everything in their chili oil!

We visited Nan Xiang Soup Dumpling in Koreatown on a Sunday afternoon after a basketball game at MSG. Despite being a group of six, we only waited about 15 minutes for a table, which was reasonable.Since we already knew what we wanted, we ordered right away: crispy dough, scallion pancakes, pork buns, pork dumplings, siu mai, pork soup dumplings, chicken soup dumplings, and the Lucky Six soup dumplings. The service was quick and efficient, and while the restaurant was busy, it never felt overwhelming.The food was absolutely delicious, as always, and we had an amazing time. We'll definitely be back!

LOVED THIS PLACE! Everything was so tasty, staff was friendly and food came out quick. It was 6 of us and we all loved our food. We ordered a bunch of things and shared everything. We had:-Crab meat & pork soup dumplings -Truffle & pork soup dumplings-pan fried beef dumplings-egg fried rice -scallion pancake -scallion pancake with sliced beef -pork wontons in spicy peanut sauce -pork buns -beef with onions and peppers

Everything was great! It can get crowded. We were a party of 6 and we're seated quickly. This location doesn't take reservations so to be seated, your entire party has to be present. The ambience was nice and lively. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. It was our first time and they answered any questions we had. I don't think you can go wrong here. Be aware the chicken soup has small bones. The spare ribs, spring rolls, soup dumplings and noodles were great, hot and fresh. I look forward to coming back.

Their menu offers numerous options, but I only went to taste their famous - and Michelin-rated - soup dumplings. I got the signature Xiang soup dumplings, the truffle & pork soup dumplings and the crab meat and pork soup dumplings. I'm glad I had the truffle dumplings at the end, because they were the most delicate (and my absolute favorite) of the three. They don't come cheap, but where else can you find truffle soup dumplings? Go.

My favorite spot for soup dumplings in the city. I was initially trekking out to Queens for these delicious XLBs but so glad that they opened this easily accessible location in midtown. Not only is the signature pork delicious but they have a wide variety of flavors to choose from as well. It's always nice to get a mixed basket to share but my second favorite flavor would have to be the truffle. Service is very quick and efficient here. They also have a virtual queue system which is nice so you don't have to stand around waiting. The restaurant is large and spacious as well.

Very very very loud place! Soup dumplings were excellent. Soup with preserved veg most bland thing in the world Shanghai dumplings delicious! Shrimp dumplings completely overcooked and bland. Totally inconsistent!!! Service eternal... not sure if I'll ever return since there are so many other more consistent places in the area.

Came here quite a few times and I always order the pork soup dumplings and beef noodle dish today I got that and wood ear mushrooms (my new fave ) me and my boyfriend shared the soup dumplings so quick I didn't get a photo of them but they are so flavorful , the wood ear mushrooms tasted so fresh and flavorful . This place is always consistent with flavor and the servers are very prompt . My favorite thing about this place is they give hot Tea while dining in and they give refills!!!

I finally found 'chicken soup dumplings' so good that I realized why people love soup dumplings so much. I was always restricted by how they are made with pork so often. The 'vegetable dumplings' were good too - full of greens and very light. But the 'crispy vegetable noodles' was not so great - noodles were a bit 'eggy' and vegetables were mostly canned (mushrooms, shoots took up most of them) w/ some bokchoy.The service is great though, place clean and we are glad we went early. It's popular :) Now if only they had more non-pork soup dumplings.

This restaurant was amazing. My son, his girlfriend and I wanted dim sum and went here based on other Yelp recommendations. We thought we might have to wait but were seated immediately. I told our waitress that we were under a bit of a time crunch and she made sure our food was rushed. Thank you, Boss, for your kindness. We ordered the pan fried pork dumplings, pork soup dumplings, and bok choy. All of our food was amazing. The soup noodles were incredible as was the dumplings. This was the kind of experience that makes me love to travel. I can't get soup noodles in my hometown so having such good ones was awesome. I'd love to try more items as the menu had a lot of different options.
