I visited during restaurant week and had an amazing experience. The highlights were definitely the pancit beef noodles and the lechon. The pork skin was perfectly crispy, and the meat was so tender and flavorful--it was hands down the best lechon I've had! I also recommend the flan for dessert. It was incredibly creamy, silky, and indulgent. A morsel felt like a mouthful of flavor.

Came to show my boyfriend how kamayan goes down! This was definitely a fancy kamayan, and before anyone says it's not real kamayan, the flavors will get you right in your core memories. We got some drinks while they got our table ready. The cocktails here are meticulously crafted and I would come back just to have drinks and maybe some small dishes. We started off with salabat, which was a nice warm ginger drink perfect for the cold winter weather. When the pan de sal with the goat liver spread came out, I took one bite and was immediately transported back to the Philippines where I was born and raised. Pace yourself when you come for kamayan...they do not hold back with portions. That was quickly followed by the salted duck egg and tomato salad, the kinilaw and the lumpia g hubad. And while the lumpiang hubad didn't look like the ones I've had in the past, the flavor was ON POINT. The fish came out after, followed by pancit, and at the point, my boyfriend and I were close to full. So imagine our surprise when the BIG entree came out with chicken, lechon, rice, vegetables and ginataang stew came out! Don't worry, you can have the food packed up to take home to enjoy the next day. The star fruit was drizzled with calamansi and asin ilocano which made a perfectly balanced palate cleanser; and then we had the buko pandan and the cassava cake. We are already planning on bringing some friends with us for the next kamayan!!The staff was so accommodating and friendly; they let us know that brunch would also be a really good time to stop by to try out their menu!

Absolutely loved our first experience at this awesome restaurant. We came for the Kamayan feast, which my date has had many times over the years at various places, but it was my first. I was not really sure what to expect except that I would be eating with my hands per Filipino tradition. We were seated in the back room which is designed to feel like a jungle, and our table was set up with banana leafs covering the surface. We were directed to the sinks next to the bar to wash our hands as we readied for our meal. We started with a few delicious cocktails, which were unique and beautifully presented. The first course was a hot ginger tea that helped us settle in. The next course was a goat liver spread served with pandesal (Filipino bread). The following course was comprised of three cold dishes: an uni and tuna kinilaw (raw seafood), lettuce wraps with vegetables covered in peanut sauce, and a tomato, dill, and salted egg salad. The next few courses were our mains, which included a charcoal-grilled trout, egg noodles with crispy pork, and lechon liempo (crispy pork belly) served alongside inahaw na manok (barbecue chicken) and vegetables. The pork and chicken were complemented with a bone broth. Although we were already very stuffed at this point, we had room for dessert which was also three courses and included star fruit, buko pandan (coconut and tapioca), and a chocolate drink with pastillas. The entire staff was amazing and made the meal feel very personable. We went home very full and with leftovers and look forward to coming back again!

As a Filipino, I've been dying to try Naks, a Filipino fusion restaurant. I came as a walk in part of 2 on a rainy weekday night and they were able to accommodate me without any wait! The inside is quite spacious with partitioned dining areas and can accommodate a larger party. In terms of food, I ordered the coconut crab and adobo rice. Both were pretty good- the crab was small portioned, but had a lot of strong and familiar Filipino coconut flavors. The adobo rice had a mix of chicken and port. The one downside of this dish was that it had bones in the chicken, which was cumbersome to eat around and I was afraid I'd bite hard on a small bone. Overall, as a Filipino fusion restaurant, I think the selection is unique and the flavors are definitely there! Next time I come, I'd love to try the Kamayan and cocktails with friends!

As a Filipina myself, I'm usually skeptical of bougie/higher-end Filipino spots but this gets my approval! Went here for brunch and the food was amazing, fresh, and wonderfully presented. The establishment itself has ample seating (they were able to take a reservation for 14!) and is clean. The service was very attentive, cleaning away plates and utensils before each course. Highly recommend.

"An unusual Korean addition"After an internal debate, well this place is well... fine. I came in with high hopes, drawn by its low-key vibe but it didn't quite hit the high marks for me.The food was decent, but nothing stood out as a "must-try." The tongue soup was well-cooked, the squid was nice and the portions were fair, though, and the presentation was nice. The service was polite but slow. Way too much talking. She went down a synopsis of almost every single time. Annoying. What's to cheer - refreshingly tasty and not sweet cocktails. Especially unusual in Korean food All in all, it's not a place I'd go out of my way for, but I wouldn't say no if a friend wanted to meet up there.Decent, but not life-changing.

Such an awesome experience! We ate a la carte and had the lumpia, BBQ pork, adobo rice, tomato salad w anchovies, and cassava cake. Not your mom's homestyle Filipino cooking, but had such a fun flair and ingredient sourcing. Also tried a couple of their cocktails which were lovely. Some of the food and drinks items have a fun table side element. Staff was super kind and knowledgeable -- would recommend!

Food is great! Especially recommend the Ginataang Alimango. The dishes were a little salty overall, but maybe that's just personal preference.
