Came to NYC for vacation and pizza, having tried several of the trendy names, I was beginning to get disappointed until I tried My Pie Pizzeria Romana. Plenty of options for different toppings. Thin and crunchy crust that can support plenty of toppings and just really good pizza. Seating is limited, but it's pizzaWould I Go Out of My Way to Try? YesWould I Return? To me this was one of my least favorite pizzas in NY! The lasagna/Alfredo didn't really good flavor to it. The pizza was crunchy though.

Wow what a fantastic ice of pizza , I asked for it extra crispy and it was perfect, the sides were perfectly crispy and the bottom was crispy. The pizza was not oily and had a good amount of cheese on it . The price was reasonable and the staff was very friendly. Not many seats available and it's a small spot. I am hoping to come back to try other flavors or have more pepperoni.

Visiting NYC and this place was recommended by the bell desk at our hotel Concordia. It was walking distance and decided we needed to have NYC pizza before leaving for our flight later that day. This location is a small place. There are a few seating but this is mostly for take out. Came during the lunch hour so it was quite busy. When you walk in you will be a display of different unique types of pizza. My a husband is a Pepperoni guy, so he had two slices of that and I had two slices of the Truffle oil mushroom pizza which I was told one of their popular ones with locals. They heated and soon enough we were called when it was ready. This pizza was hand down amazing! The crust was cooked perfectly and every bite you take makes you just want more. So glad the bell desk area recommended this place. It definitely left a lasting impression and now wished we had one in California. Highly recommend this place. You won't be disappointed.

I had a grandma slice. Plump tomatoes in the sauce. Very generous on the Parmesan cheese. It was reheated but didn't quite have that crispness that I look for on a reheated slice. My favorite part was the basil. Quick service. $8 for the slice which they kindly cut in two.

Huge slices that are cut in half, making them perfect to share. The chicken Alfredo had a nice crisp to the bottom and plenty of meat. Overall they have many meat heavy and vegetarian options available

My Pie probably has the best thin crusted pizza that is incredibly crispy with a variety of amazing toppings. I've always been hesitant about square pizzas, but when I tried their pesto pizza and pepperoni pizza, I was pleasantly surprised by how good they were. The slices come in two and are about $6.50 (for 2 squares). The interior space is on the smaller end, so not really a sit-down style restaurant, more of a quick bite/grab-and-go experience. The service is pretty quick, got my pizzas within 5 minutes of ordering. Hands down one of my favorite pizza shops in NYC!

Italian lady coworker deems this "the best pizza" she has had in NYC (and she has been living here for 40+ yrs). If you are a lover of "think crust" pizza... look no further. This place is it. I personally LOVE their truffle oil mushroom pizza. The place has very limited amount of seats (inside and outside). They claim they import all heir ingredients directly from Italy. The clerks behind the counter are nice enough. I don't give them all 5 stars b/c your experience with their pizza will be different if you are not ordering a fresh whole pie. At work, we have tried it a couple of times. If you walk in and order just a couple of slices... it just isn't as good. My crew at work agrees. It is worth noting that when you order by the slice... "one slice" is two (2) squares.

Swung by this hole in the wall Roman style pizzeria for lunch. This style of pizza will be on the upswing, because it can be cooked in a small electric oven. The space was very small with a couple of tables. Obviously designed for take out. The staff were very friendly. I tried a very good chicken harmonics and a disappointing pepperoni slice. I have come to the conclusion that Roman style pizza is my least favorite. This place is solidly OK, but I would greatly prefer Neapolitan or Sicilian pizza. With increased regulation over gas and a lower barrier to entry, places like this will become commonplace.
