Overrated. Side dishes were the worst I've seen at a Korean place. Dishes (we got the bbq mackerel and spicy pork) were underwhelming. Service was ok. We came at 1:30 and it was mostly empty but they asked if we had a reservation and told us one table we wanted to sit at was reserved...no one else came when we were there so that was odd. Would probably not return.

Overall: 4/5Food: 4/5 - I got the army stew (budae jigae) and my friend got the soon tofu stew and the food was pretty good but nothing out of the ordinary. The fillings of the army stew were a bit lacking and the side dishes were just alright. Value: 4/5 - My meal ended up costing close to $30 which is standard for the area but the fillings of the soup were not that great and would probably get better value somewhere else.Service: 5/5 - We were warmly welcomed and greeted from the beginning and our server was attentive and kind!Overall, this place was a solid place to get korean food if in the flatiron area ! I'm not too sure if I would go out of my way to come here but would maybe come back if I was in the area !

Terrific casual Korean restaurant. We went for dinner on a Saturday evening and even though it was our first time there, we received a warm welcome as if we were family coming to dinner. We started with the Seafood Pancake which was excellent and then had a nice combination of meat dishes: Truffle Bulgogi Rice, Galbi Korean BBQ and LA Galbi Korean BBQ - all very good.Great, friendly service throughout (with a bit of humor sometimes thrown in!) Overall, terrific food in a casual environment.

Came here for lunch since I was in the Flatiron neighborhood and super glad I did! They have a bunch of really solid (and great value) lunch combo options- I got the bulgogi lunch set which came with soup, salad, a generous helping of bulgogi, dumplings, and several yummy side dishes - I was blown away by all it included and ate every last crumb. Yum!

Growing up w a lot of Korean friends, this reminded me of home. Cozy, family run - very sweet service and super yummy food. Got the vegetarian kimchi jjigae and it was spicy and warm. Definitely coming back!

Wanted to try something nearby since we were staying in the area and it was kinda rainy out.Decided to check this place out, I was able to make a reservation on open table without any issues.Service was great and we received our food fairly quickly. Ordered the bulgogi kimchi fries and the soondubu with beef. The fries were very good I liked how crispy they were. The soondubu was also tasty and on the mild side which was fine.Noise level can be challenging if there are a lot of people. We were seated in between two other tables of two and they were all just really involved in their conversations with a lot of intense emotions. Overall nice neighborhood spot.

Updating my review. I ordered the soondubu jigae off of DoorDash and the ladies were so sweet when I went to pick up. The soup was warm and hearty, with lots of tofu and beef. It also came with many sides - potatoes, broccoli, rice, and more. This dish is perfect for a chilly day! I would definitely come again.

First time trying this place and it did not disappoint! Prices were super reasonable and portions were a good amount. We had the steak, marinated beef, mackerel as well as fried rice dishes our favorite was definitely the steak and marinated beef. The fish was a little too "ocean-y" for me but others enjoyed it and didn't think that was the case. The kimchi soup is super fermented so be warned if that's not your preference. I do like it less fermented but the others loved it the way it was We came with a part of 4 and was promptly seated and then the restaurant filled up asap! Looks like this is a great Korean dinner spot away from the busy ktown area. All in all, we would definitely come back! It definitely had a homey feel to the place and it's a no frills place to eat great food.

Im going to start off by saying that the service was very good and warm. But the food was just disappointing. I ordered the budajige and it had very little flavor. There also weren't many fillings in it at all. The bon chan was also lacking. The kimchi tasted watery. The potato Salad had no flavour. And the fishcakes were weak too! Not what one typically expects from korean food.
