Great addition the neighborhood. Never actually been inside but order takeout via seamless every now and then. The dishes are a wee bit expensive but it's understandable. I really like the fried fish; even after being fried and delivered, it still had a great texture and was seasoned really well. The order didnt take too long to arrive either. This is a great option in the area for seafood and soul food. Will def try to visit in person to get an idea of the establishment.

I can speak for almost all the sides this restaurant has to offer and I'm telling you it's the best Soul food in the Bushwick area. This is my second time ordering and both times have been consistent with delicious flavors. I'm so happy they're right across the street because this soul food is truly phenomenal compared to any other local soul food place. It's never too crowded in here from what I can tell and customer service was great each time I've gone to pick up my food. The yam are sweet and buttery, you can tell it's made with pure love. The Mac n cheese is seasoned to perfection and so good. The yellow rice is a bit bland, that's the only item I'll rate low. Let me emphasize that the collard greens are sooooo good! Both times I've gotten it, it was just so good. The greens truly have that authentic southern taste to it. It's not vinegary or bland, it literally has so much flavor you'll love it. The potato salad is good but tastes a lot like relish and that corn bread is a hybrid between cake and corn bread. So moist and delicious. My husband got the fried fish and loved it. I give this place a solid 8/10 Highly recommend all of the sides if you're not into seafood like me. But if you do like seafood my husband and friend told me the fish is fried fresh to perfection and the snow crab legs were very good.

Prices are on par with what you pay in that area. The food in the glass looks good. The restaurant is clean and the staff is friendly. I've tried them a few times and ordered the same dishes multiple times every meal had fried fish. The food tastes different every time.The fish has been soggy EVERY order. One time the greens were good and the other time, they were not. The candied yams are just ok. I was served uncooked french fries. I wanted to like this place because they seem to be the only soul food place in the nearby vicinity. They are newly open and the food at the Flatbush location has been decent so I have given them alot of grace.
