Came for lunch with coworkers and tried the crispy potatoes with white bbq sauce ($9) and I ordered just a side of chicken ($4). The chicken was juicy and just pieces of thigh that would go into the noodles and the crispy potatoes were really good especially with the paprika coating! I tried someone else's shrimp bun which wasn't my favorite and was softer than I would've wanted and part of the spicy tuna hand roll which was too spicy for 1/2 of the table. Also apparently you can't bring in outside water bottles. Service was quick and staff were nice though.

I went there for lunch, and was surprised to find it was restaurant week, but the options were pork belly, chicken thigh, or mushroom for the ramen, all pretty undesirable. I went for the shiItake mushroom ramen, but it was super bland and foamy; totally un-worth the calories. I decided to not participate in restaurant week and instead I ordered the fried brussel sprouts. They were tasty, but way too much fish sauce and vinegar, although a touch less would have made it an excellent dish. The yuzu lemonade was also overpriced, especially because it had too much ice in it and a strange sweetener like stevia in it. I liked the rice crispy puffs.

*I had an early dinner here this evening with my family. I have to stress that all members of their wait staff and hostesses were kind and professional. They also handled any mistakes quickly. The reservation process was also seamless. They were gracious. I am upset with the quality of the food and the person that makes the decisions for the pricing/website. To begin, the part that is very distressing is that on the official Momofuku website for the noodle bar, it confirms that NYC Restaurant Week has a special menu for lunch and dinner (January 21st-February 9th) for a set price. When I called the day before dining, I mentioned the restaurant week and was told that it would only be Monday-Friday. The items listed for this special price are all on the regular menu (it is not a special curated menu for the restaurant week). I mentioned to hostess on the telephone that these terms were not mentioned on their website. The hostess confirmed that a manager said that they would not honor it for my reservation on Sunday. Today, Sunday, 1/26, I come in for the reservation and I mention the Restaurant Week special again as I am seated. I mentioned it because when I was on the website as I was seated, I did not see any updated terms (24 hours of making my reservation and calling the day before). I have screenshots from the website from both days without updates. The staff thanked me for helping to let them know but that they would not honor the pricing as advertised on their site. As of this evening after my dining experience, the website is now updated. I do not work for Momofuku, they do not pay me so I am not sure why I am helping them. It did not rub me the right way as a customer as I would have handled differently as someone that is in the service industry. We ordered the following: Buns (2 pc)Pork Belly - hoisin, scallion, cucumber 16*The buns were the best items that we ordered. With that said, my grandmother did not seem to love them. She eats them and has definitely had different variations and said this one was "okay". She said that she is used to pork belly being tender and this was very tough. I felt like my experience was the same. The piece of meat was very difficult to bite into. The bun itself was perfect. Momofuku Salad - watermelon radish, yuzu vinaigrette, nori chips 14*Our salad arrived without any watermelon radish. When we told a male server about the radish, he mentioned that they are usually at the bottom. We looked inside the salad but could only see mixed greens with nori chips. I am confused as the description did not mention mixed salad. The staff was quick to bring the watermelon radish on the side. The dressing itself was incredibly salty. While this may be subjective, my family and I tend to have different palettes and we all agreed that it was an immense amount of salt. Cumin Beef Noodles - tiger salad, sesame, chili oil 20*This was a decent dish, as described and pleasant. It was not as greasy as some noodles can be. It was nicely flavored, the noodle texture was fine with a bit of a crunch. Smoked Pork Ramen* (2) - pork belly, poached egg, bamboo 21*We ordered one without an egg and one with an egg. Both came without eggs. I did not notice that the egg was missing (the egg is usually the highlight of my ramen experiences) but because I was focused on the pork being so tough, I did not notice the egg missing unfortunately. I felt like the broth had a deep, rich color but was lacking flavor and spices. The noodles were cooked perfectly but probably my least favorite ramen I've had living the city for 30+ years. Ginger Scallion Noodles (V) - pickled shiitake, cucumber, wakame 19+ additional protein pork belly 5*My sister is unable to eat gluten due to an allergy. This is the only item on the menu that is gluten free approved. The noodles are substituted with rice. While it was appreciated that they accommodated, it does not taste good. The shitake mushrooms are removed because they are prepared with gluten soy sauce. She felt that it was VERY salty. The additional pork belly add on was very tough. It came to the point that my sister could not eat the dish at all. The waitress and manager were beyond professional when the feedback was provided and did not charge for the dih. We almost did not say anything due to pure embarrassment but it was just inedible. She does not like the complain and feels guilty. Every bite she tried to take, she did not want to be difficult. The staff was very accommodating and offered to re-make the dish. Momofuku should consider one gluten free option (I understand cross contamination can happen). I read online, "In 2009, his restaurant Momofuku Ko was awarded two Michelin stars, which the restaurant retained each year until its closure in 2023. In 2011, he co-founded the food magazine Lucky Peach, which lasted for 25 quarterly volumes into 2017". I am not sure if Momofuku is under new management but I am beyond disappointed.

I decided to check out this place, which is conveniently tucked away on the 3rd floor of the Columbus Circle shops. I arrived right when they opened on a Sunday evening, and there were plenty of tables open, so I was promptly seated. The atmosphere is cozy and dimly-lit, almost upscale but still giving a casual feel. I sat at the bar, and waiters were quick and attentive. I ordered the seared shrimp bun and smoked pork ramen. The shrimp was delicious, but the bun did feel a bit soggy. The ramen tasted flavorful, but halfway through it began feeling pretty heavy and oily. The prices are also on the higher end. Tldr; good service, nice ambience, ok food. I'm glad to have tried this place, but I probably wouldn't be back unless I'm nearby.

Was finally able to get in here...although it was very hard for a Saturday night. Ordered the pork ramen and spicy cucumber salad. The ramen was not too heavy and had the right amount of saltiness to it. The bowl came with some greens and a nice chunky slice of pork. My only complaint is that the ramen portion could have been a little bigger. I was able to eat it rather quickly. But the star of my meal was actually the spicy cucumber salad! It had a nice creamy texture balanced out with almonds...it was the best cucumber salad I've ever had! I would literally go back just for that. The service was also very fast...not sure if it's because I sat at the bar. But they came to check on me a number of times. Not sure which location is better but I have yet to try the East Village one. Will try other flavors in the future.

This location of Momofuku is located in the shops at Columbus Circle and is a nice sit down option that isn't quite so upscale. We showed up with 2 people at the prime lunch time hour on a weekend and were told we could put our names down for counter seats (two long counters line either side of the restaurant) and it would be about a 45 minute wait. They texted us closer to 20 minutes later that our seats were ready. The counter is not super comfortable, which probably is by design - it encourages people to eat and leave, rather than linger. The seats are very tight and there isn't a lot of counter space in front of you either. We each ordered the chicken ramen, which took quite a while to come out (something like 20-30 minutes - the people that sat down next to us ordered and finished eating a whole round of appetizers come out before our ramen came out). The ramen itself was very good; the broth was flavorful and the ingredients (chicken, vegetables, noodles) were high quality. It didn't blow me away, and at $20 is definitely on the pricey side, but I was happy with it.I wouldn't go out of my way to come here, but would definitely come back if I happened to be at the shops.

finally made it to Momofuku Noodle Bar for a late weekend lunch to celebrate a friend's birthday, and the experience was nothing short of fantastic. The staff truly went above and beyond, surprising us with a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine and desserts, which made the celebration feel even more special.I didn't get to explore much of the restaurant but we sat near the entrance in a booth that fit the 5 of us well. The food, as expected, was phenomenal. We ordered a variety of dishes to share, and each one impressed:* Truffle Ramen: Warm, flavorful, and perfectly comforting. This was a table favorite, with its rich broth and delicate truffle essence.* Pork Belly Buns: My personal favorite. The pork belly was generously portioned--each bun had a large, crispy yet tender, fatty slice of meat that melted in your mouth. Absolute perfection.* Tuna Handrolls: The Yuzu ones were fresh and light, though we all agreed the Spicy Tuna Handrolls stood out more. The spicy tuna was packed with flavor, not overly spicy, and had the right balance of richness.* Dry Spiced Wings: A huge serving and cooked to absolute perfection. Crispy, flavorful, and great for sharing.* Momofuku Salad: Surprisingly memorable. The dressing was fantastic, and it held up well even as leftovers--definitely a unique and satisfying dish.* Crispy Potatoes: A standout side dish. The serving was generous, the potatoes were perfectly crispy, and the accompanying sauce added an extra layer of deliciousness.* Cucumber Salad: A simple but refreshing dish that provided a nice balance to the richer items on the table.* Miso Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies: A solid dessert--soft, sweet, and a great way to end the meal.* Matcha Chocolate Tart: This dessert was unforgettable. The sesame whip was so unique, and the tart itself was not too sweet, striking the perfect balance. It was the ideal ending to an already incredible meal.* Coconut Soft Serve: Creamy, flavorful, and loaded with toppings--another dessert highlight we couldn't stop talking about. For drinks, the Spicy Margaritas were a hit with my friends. I had the White Peach Cosmo on Tap, which was a little too sweet for my taste but still enjoyable. The absolute highlight of the meal was the service. Despite coming in right before the kitchen closed, the staff went above and beyond. They attentive, warm, and made us feel like we were VIP the entire time. It was hands-down our favorite part of the experience. This is a great place to take friends if you're visiting or are craving a bite after a long day of shopping at Columbus Circle.

A nice upscale affair that isn't a must go, but a fun side adventure.I came here after hearing much about Momofuku and having tried their East Village location years ago. I knew this one would be a slightly higher end affair and wasn't disappointed by that aspect. The inside was well put together but not overly gaudy or off putting. It gave off a clean, modern aesthetic that should jive well with any customer. The food was varied as we ordered their ramen, mushroom baos, pork baos, and salad. We were more than full by the end of meal for four people. I found the ramen to be spicer than expected but still very tasteful.I would only say the prices are higher than expected. You can get the same quality without all the fanciness; perhaps that comes it being in the Columbus Circle mall.

Met a friend here as she was doing a day trip to NYC. She picked this place, looking at the limited menu, it wouldn't have been my choice, but I like to try new to me things, and it was about the company. We arrived without reservations around 5:30pm on a Thursday (day after Christmas) and it was crowded. All tables were claimed for the night. A 30 minutes wait for the bar and not a minute sooner. Hubby ordered the cucumber salad since he had Shake Shake while we waited (he was hungry and not a noodle person, but supportive of our friend's choices- lol!). He was pleasantly surprised with the cucumber salad, which was. Cut very chunky, coated in a green purée the texture of avocado (it was togarashi) and topped with almonds. It wasn't very spicy, but a cool take.I ordered the garlic chicken ramen and it's pretty good. The broth was really good as well as the noodles. I could have used more flavor, and added some chili oil. The egg white was still a little runny (snotty) but I submerged it in the broth and it was all good. The service was great too- they checked on us appropriately. If I went again, I'd probably order the ginger scallion or cumin beef noodles and the dry spiced wings - other patrons seemed to enjoy those.

5/5 food, but 3/5 service. I've heard mixed reviews about momofuku so I was expecting to be unimpressed by the food but everything was actually delicious. My bf and I shared an order of pork buns which were DELICIOUS, perfectly crisp on the outside but tender/melty on the inside. I think this is the one dish from momofuku that I've heard consistently stellar reviews for. We also both got the smoked pork ramen which was amazing. I loved that pork remained crispy despite being soaked in soup, and the broth wasn't too salty so I was able to actually drink it (unlike a lot of ramen dishes). As for drinks, I ordered a milk tea which I wouldn't get again because it tasted kind of watered down. Also, service was mid. It took a very long time before we got our ramen so we thought they forgot about our order. After we finished eating, no one came by for 15+ min so we just sat there until we saw our server pass by again and we flagged them down.We walked in around 7pm on a friday night and were able to get seated in 20 min at the bar, but would recommend making a reservation bc it gets really crowded.
