Miss Dong Burger

To Yelpers saying Miss Dong chicken burgers are juicy, *inserts Confused Travolta meme*. Where? I was indeed very interested in what an Asian style McDonald's might taste like so I made sure to check this place out for lunch. The store itself looked pretty spacious and modern, with cash and takeout only. The lady didn't speak English so there could be trouble communicating if you're asking about other things beyond the menu set numbers. I unfortunately did not get the intriguing whole chicken, but instead ordered Set 9 ($16), which came with 2 Chicken Burgers, Fries, Nuggets, and 2 Cokes. The burgers came in a cute Doraemon box with smiley face wrapping, so cute! Presentation wise, the burger looked lackluster and bland, and it tasted mediocre as well. While it wasn't exactly dry, there was no visible juiciness either. I do notice the chicken piece is probably healthier than other food chains but at the expense of the flavor. There was only mayo wedged inside and the chicken was also incredibly stringy. It was difficult to eat without having a tug of war with my burger! The fries and nuggets were stored together in one box. I think there were 6 nugget pieces. They were standard, but they weren't bad either! I genuinely enjoyed the chicken nuggets. I would not dare to compare Miss Dong Burger at the same level of Popeyes, but I'd still recommend here if you're looking for a different fast food place in 8th Ave!

I've heard a lot about this place so I thought I would check it out. I ordered the (B) meal: spicy chicken burger, two spicy wings, and a soda. I ordered takeout but there was a lot of indoor seating if you want to eat there. It did take a while to receive my order but I guess they make it to order. The spicy chicken burger tasted fresh and the chicken was crunchy. I did like that the bun had sesame seeds. Also, there were lettuce and tomato in the burger which made it not that heavy. Is it better than Popeye's? No, but it tasted healthier. It was a bit spicy but not too spicy. The spicy wings were not very spicy at all but very crunchy. I would come back to try their other burgers, the shrimp burger and the soft shell crab burger looked good. FYI - it's cash only.

This spot has been on my radar for a while and I finally went to try out the infamous Miss Dong Burger with the Hello Kitty burger boxes. We ordered combo #3 and #5. #3 Came with a burger and fries and #5 came with a shrimp burger and popcorn chicken. Everything was hot, fresh, and made to order. The place was empty on a Saturday afternoon. The burger was like any other fast food burger but, the shrimp burger was loaded with whole fried shrimps instead of a ground shrimp patty. I would definitely come back to try the chicken burger and they have a large combo meal with a whole roast chicken on the menu.

Since the pandemic I've been ordering from Miss Dong. It's like an Asian McDonald's. I've ordered take out and as well as delivery and I haven't had any problem. Delivery was within 25 minutes. I do prefer Miss Dong over Moon and Flower as their menu is very similar. They also have combos to choose from. I usually order their crab burger which they do not have in Moon and Flower. Also Miss Dong provides better customer services for example when you call in advanced to order and once your order is done, the cashier would normally give you a call. For the last two month or so they were offering buy 2 get 1 free burger which I took over. I did like their chicken nuggets for a time period but the last two order was overalls fried but that doesn't stop me from ordering from Miss Dong!

The food is good but customer service is horrible. The lady who take the order act like we owe her money. Never gonna go there again.

Very solid chicken!! The chicken burger comes with a huge piece of fried chicken that's super juicy along with lettuce tomato and mayo. Definitely one of my favorite chicken burgers out there. Their fries and popcorn chicken are also just as perfectly fried. They have a lot of good combo deals. Pleasantly surprised by this hidden spot!!

The chicken here is so delectable, whether you get it as a whole or in a sandwich. Every order is made steaming hot and fresh! The nuggets and fries taste just like mcdonalds -- made to order, and they give you salt and pepper to add yourself. I always come here for the chicken sandwich, you can't go wrong with it. I believe they're cash only, but I'd always pick this over KFC and sometimes over popeyes. Don't knock it until you try it, definitely a 10/10 for me.

My partner and I ate their food last night and vomited!!!!!!!!! Do not order their food!!! It's not fresh at all!!!!

Good selection of burgers - beef, crispy chicken, soft crab, shrimp, etc. Crispy chicken is perfectly crispy outside and super juicy inside! Wings, fries have been freshly fried ever time. Combo meal options for bigger groups and families. First time eating in (have taken out several times before). We ordered number 12 for a group of three for $30. Rotisserie chicken is a smaller full chicken. Came with a basket of fries along with five nuggets and the three burgers and three soda. Soda selection limited to coke, sprite, and Sunkist. They were restocking while we were there. On the way out noted boxes of Perdue chicken being delivered! Good service. Clean comfortable environment. Cash only! Free WiFi. Good for late night snacking!
