I tried this place once during brunch and once during dinner, and I preferred the brunch because of how fun the french toast is, but both were great! The food is really good. Got everything to share (2 people), and that worked perfectly. The service is good - nothing crazy/special. The ambiance is really nice inside, and the outdoor back section is heated & enclosed with interesting art. Specific items:- loved the whipped ricotta & the french toast & the pita is soooo soft and fluffy - liked the octopus although it was small- liked the hummus and shakshuka- didn't like the beet hummus although it looked beautiful on the table

Last year I remember really enjoying dinner at Miss Ada so I came back with my husband. It started out really nice, but kind of went downhill after the dips were served. Our favorites were the sweet potato hummus and whipped ricotta. The pita were warm and soft. The okays were the octopus and chicken shawarma (it was a bit too salty). The not good were the skewers we order which were the kofta and short rib. The lamb kofta was so gamy to the point it was inedible for us. The short rib was overdone and dry. And then at the end our server mistakenly overcharged us. Overall just ok, will likely not return again.

Got in for 2 at this place after waiting for about 20 minutes on a Saturday night! We got the labneh, whipped ricotta, and sweet potato hummus. The sweet potato hummus was truly incredible and so unlike anything I've ever tried before! Whipped ricotta was also excellent, I'd skip the labneh next time. Pita bread was also good and fluffy. We also got falafel and 2 chicken skewers. The falafel was delicious and cooked perfectly with lovely sauces on the top to compliment it. The chicken skewers were juicy and well cooked. Overall a great meal, nothing that blew me out of this world (except maybe the sweet potato hummus) but everything tasted high quality and the service was very good. It was a lively yet comfortable ambiance inside with dim lighting and loud sounds of conversation and chit chat!

Middle Eastern spot in Fort Greene off the park. In the middle of freezing February night packed! Why- food is amazing - beer hummus and brick chicken were incredible - beer hummus so unusual and good creamy -- my friend had chicken shawarma and an appetizer. Service was attentive friendly and atmosphere was great - very cool brooklyn - but near the A train for adventurous tourists and mabhattanites. I hear it has a great garden - reservations are a must - moderately priced but not cheap or too expensive.

Went on a Wednesday and this place was packed. Limited seating on the outside and smaller venue inside. Party of 1 and 2 should have no issues but more than 2 you may have a wait. However the food is wonderful! My favorite was sweet potato hummus. With it being fall it's a perfect compliment. The Veridian is a spicy margarita. Now I like spicy but whew- I was not expecting that type of spicy. It was delicious but no way I could do a second and then switched it up.While the entrees looked amazing we decided to order a variety of small plates to share. Everything was tasty and well seasoned. My particular favorites were sweet potato hummus and Brick chicken. The top of the night was desserts. We got one of each and they were simply a treat. Do not skip desert. The chocolate kofta was divine but my surprise favorite was the knafe. I'm probably not spelling that right but hands down I would reorder again.Great find for a good meal.

3.5 stars would be more fitting but rounding up because I'm not mad at the experience I had at Miss Ada. I had a good time overall, but the service is very very slow. It took about 25 minutes after we were seated for the waitress to come take our order. We sat in the back patio, and it was also quite difficult to wave someone down to assist. I think our waitress could tell that we were a bit upset, so she brought an extra side of bread. Aside from how slow service was, the staff was very friendly and the food came out quickly. The dips here were really good. My favorite was the Lamb Shawarma Hummus. WOW. The hummus was itself delicious, but the lamb and other toppings made the dish! I loved it and really want to try their other variations. The Whipped Ricotta was also good but got heavy after a few bites. The octopus was alright-- not the most tender, but it had pretty good flavor and I enjoyed the eggplant it was served on top of. If I were to redo my experience, I would skip the Half Brick Chicken. It was so basic, I felt like I could make it myself at home.

My friend and I went to Miss Ada at 11am on a Saturday. My friend had been previously and requested a table in the back that has the outdoor feel without being pummeled by the cold. If you don't have a reservation, I recommend going close to 11am, as there was already a line at opening. The atmosphere has cute vibes, but nothing outstanding. We ordered the Lamb Shawarma Hummus ($18) and the Israeli Breakfast ($15). These came with a side of warm pita, which was warm and fluffy, though I would argue it was not enough for both of the dishes. The lamb shawarma hummus was fantastic, and I would highly recommend it. The lamb flavor completely elevated the hummus, and the combination of flavors was a knockout. I would pass on the Israeli breakfast as $15 was totally not worth it for a few greens, eggs, and dips that paled in comparison for the hummus. While the food was tasty, they advertise these as family style. I personally felt like it wasn't enough food to share, and if I'm paying $21 for my entire meal, I would prefer to leave feeling satisfied. Regarding service, they provide a bottle of water that you can fill your cups with, and they replaced ours when it was low. The food also came out incredibly fast (less than 5 minutes?). Our server did one check-back but we were quickly in-and-out, so I cannot speak to a highly attentive level of service. Overall, I would return to try a different hummus and a more filling brunch entree.

One of the best restaurants I've had not only in Brooklyn, but all of NYC. We could only manage to get a reservation at 9:30pm and unfortunately had to rush a little bit as the kitchen was closing at 10pm so we had to get all orders in quite quickly.A phenomenal restaurant for doing family style! I also literally took my parents here when they visited for the holidays and they absolutely loved it.Almost everything we ate we absolutely LOVED. Top items: whipped ricotta, sweet potato hummus (order extra pita for all), halloumi skewer, and half chicken. The cocktails we ordered were also lovely (old fashioned).Only thing I'd avoid getting again would be the chicory salad, not our preferred dish. Not bad though by any means.Overall, I'd HIGHLY recommend this spot. Reservations open up at 9am I think 2 weeks ahead of time on Resy.

Got brunch resv on a Saturday here and I was surprised because I thought it was harder to get resv. We were sat outside on the patio and our waiter was nice, but wasn't too attentive. We got the greek breakfast, babaganoush, sweet potato hummus, and chocolate babaka. The greek breakfast was good, I loved the pickles and the salad. The dips were good, but next time I'll try the whipped ricotta. I also thought the hummus and babaganoush would come with more pita. There was barely enough pita to finish either of the dips. The chocolate babka was definitely the star of the show! I'd come back here just for that.

Solid food and vibes!Food: I came here for brunch and there were several options! I do have to call out - the portion sizes are small so for two people I would recommend 3-4 items! The labneh was good and quite refreshing! The Malawach was very flavorful (very greasy though)! I liked the shug sauce on it! The chicken shawarma hummus was quite good! The chicken schnitzel was also great! We also got a free babka dessert which by far was one of my favorites! I'd recommend everything I orderedPrice: a bit pricey for portion sizes and for what it is (the chicken shawarma hummus bowl is very expensive and not enough food)Service: great service! It is very quick, which I think makes you feel a bit rushed but if you are looking for a fast spot, definitely come here Ambience: I liked the ambience!
