Average food. Some dishes are good, some are bad. The fish congee is good as are the fried cruellers. Bad dishes include the wonton soup, with wontons that lack shrimp and that are more like dense meatballs, and the BBQ pork rice noodles with a terrible rice noodle skin that falls apart when you try and pick it up. It opens 30 minutes before Big Wong, a few stores down so it's good if you're in a rush. They also have a bathroom on the ground floor, unlike Big Wong which requires venturing down a potentially slippery staircase to the basement.

Came here for dinner on a Thursday and it was a slow day for them. However their food and service were still great! If you can speak Mandarin or Cantonese, you can speak to the servers in their language, however English is still understandable! This is a typical Chinese restaurant that I grew up with in my past so it did not disappoint.Food:3 meat combo with rice - got duck, charsiu, and the chicken. All of which were sooo good! The rice had the meat flavors and sauces and they also add cabbage for veggies. Everything tasted fresh and very flavorful. Wonton Mein - my comfort food! Noodles were good and had a lot on it with 5 wontons. I finished the soup and it was great! Wontons were packed as well! Not in picture was pork chop with onions and that was good as well but was a little saltier so the rice was very much needed for that. Would come back again!

Tried to go to the noodle house but it was closed. This place was the alternative, it was open around 9ish pm and we were hungry and in search for a place for dinner. This place did the job. I ordered beef with bitter melon over rice and the bitter melon was well made, tasty, and savory. They knew how to cook it to the perfection as bitter melon could be hard to be made and if you dont know how to do it it would end up to be bitter. But the way this place did it, the bitter melon ended up to be flavorful. Will definitely come back here more often in the future : )

Quick and hearty Chinese food. Cheaper if you pay by cash. I like their roasted pork with rice and cabbage only 9 with taxes and very filling. The services were very good, they made sure to replace our dishes right away then they realize that they gave us the wrong order.

I came here on a random Thursday evening, looking to get some takeout. Got the popular pork dish and a soup. For the price, the food was pretty good. but nothing about the food blew me away. It seemed like there was ample seating inside as well. The staff was quick with service. overall, might try some other spots in the area next.

Came to grab a quick lunch and got the roast pork and roast duck noodle soup. Service was quick and they gave me great cuts of meat. Well seasoned, perfectly cut and roasted. The noodles and soup flavor were average. Looking forward to coming back to try more dishes with more people. Also free wifi available in the restaurant!

Walking around Chinatown not knowing where to eat. Passed by Ming Wong restaurant and thought to give them a try. Like most Chinese restaurants, don't expect much ambiance. Pretty much a hole-in-the-wall. We got a table pretty quickly for 2. ENTREES:CHA SIU WONTO LO MEIN - pretty generous helping but we added cha siu which bumped up this dish in price. 4/5GARLIC PEA SPROUTS - tender and flavorful but a pricey dish at $22! They give you plenty though. Little did we know that it'll cost more than SF! 4/52 MEAT COMBO - Roasted duck and soy sauce chicken rice plate. This dish was good. 4/5Kinda pricey for Chinese food, but we had some leftovers and their food will satisfy you if you're craving BBQ meat.
