I just saw another review that said they came because Milady's is on the world's best bar list. I did not know this was a thing, and while the experience was good, I would not say this is one of the world's best bars.I would say service was attentive. I got in immediately on a Wednesday night, greeted with a smile, even though it was miserably cold due to the door opening and closing (nothing to be done about it). I just had the pretzel, with cheese dip and whole grain mustard. The pretzel was soft, but not too soft, portion was great for sharing, and the dips were tasty. For drinks, I got: Window Treatment (tequila, hibiscus, basil, lime, the pathfinder amaro, and tonic) as well as Get Off My Lawn (ford's gin, muyu Jasmin vert, lemon, black currant, and pink peppercorn). Both drinks were light, refreshing. I would not call them "world's best bar" level, but still good. They have a variety of other cocktails. Light and bubbly, using aperol, sherry, rum, grey goose. Whiskey highballs in various combinations. Jell-O shots. Cocktails they call "shaken and citrusy," which is where I got the Window Treatment and Get Off My Lawn. They also have flavors/spirits of rum, cranberry, rye, fig, vermouth, pear brandy. They have a "spirit forward" section with a few martinis, a Negroni, and old fashioned, and a bourbon/sherry drink. They have beer and wine as well.As far as food, it's mostly American/bar bites. Oysters, broccoli cheddar soup, chopped or chickpea salad. I had the sourdough pretzel, which as I said, was pretty good. They have shrimp cocktail, Brussels sprouts, spinach stuffed mushrooms (I did eye these), kale and artichoke dip, loaded potato skins. Entrees are chicken tenders, shrimp lettuce wraps, a house burger and veggie burger, grilled chicken on flatbread, and chorizo Mac n cheese, which can be made vegetarian. It's a cute place with a fun disco ball, a decorative bar, good service, decent food and drink. I wouldn't go here for a regular dinner or an event. But for after work drinks and snacks or a first date, sure.

5 stars for being my favorite martini HH spot. Monday through Thursday from 4-6pm, in a gorgeously done, pink velvet type of space.I almost always grab the martini ($14) but will occasionally grab the non-HH menu of cocktails because they're just so fun. Think marshmallows, Coca-Cola, egg whites (those are not necessarily in the same drink...!).Great waitstaff, great vibes - can get crowded for HH, so keep that in mind.

I'm totally good to say I came here bc I saw this place on the World's Best Bars list.Loves:+ The bar food is good. I loved the crab mac & cheese ($24) and chicken tenders ($22).+ Drinks are good ($16-22)+ Staff is kind and attentive+ Cute ambiance insideMilady's is near my old work area so I wish I had known about it then! While it does not dazzle me the way some of the others bar on World's Best does, it's still delightful. :)

Okay, call me nitpicky, but the bright purple lights at this place are frankly fugly and distasteful. We paid 60 (not inc. tip) for 2 drinks and 2 jello shots (which were 9 dollars each). 9 dollars! For jello shots! You gotta be kidding me. Also, the service took a long time. The drink I got was really good though, my boyfriend's, not so much. I wish I could remember what I got, but this place was so unforgettable and disappointing that the memory escapes me at this junction.

The ambiance here is really cute and the bar seating is nice. They have an area with smaller velvet chairs that I liked. The bartender and staff were really friendly. The drinks were okay. I ordered an espresso martini that was just okay. The food...from what I ordered needs work.I will say the oyster shooter was good...the half order of oysters were ok...but the salmon lettuce wrap was awful. Overcooked, overly salty and honestly tasted really fishy. I had one bite and sent it back. We then ordered the chicken handwich which is a mini pita chicken schwarma. This was also super salty and really dry and way too much hot sauce. My mouth was on fire by the end of eating it. Not a fan of what I ordered at all. If I go back it will only be for basic drinks.

Came here on a Friday night at 8:45 and the place was packed but not crazy. There were no open tables available and no seats at the bar, but me and my boyfriend were fortunate enough to only have to wait a few minutes before a kind lady and her friend tapped us on the shoulder to let us know she was leaving and we could have her table! We sat immediately after that and our table was wiped down and our server was so kind and attentive. I got the Milady Martini, moon Prism Power and the La Fiera. Highly recommend the Milady Martini and La fiera if you like your drinks on the stronger side. I had the Moon Prism Power in between the two as a sweet break. We didn't get food but I would definitely come back here again. Every time someone got up to leave, another person was immediately ready to take their spot. This place doesn't have a line but it's definitely a place to be as there's a few people always lingering by the door, waiting for a spot.

Solid food and ambiance with good prices. Would definitely reccomend the small bites and drinks here for a good time. Sat at the bar, and bartender was super sweet as well.

Wow, Julie Reiner has done it again. Everything she turns out is spectacular. Not only mixology-wise, but her bars also seem to all have perfectly curated vibes, though they're all different than one another. Milady's is a bar that could easily exist in Brooklyn, but it's smack dab in the middle of swanky SoHo. That said, the crowd is definitively SoHo, given their aesthetic and proclivity for designer bag. But somehow, it's not pretentious. It's refined yet funky and fun, the bartenders work swiftly and tend to be super friendly, and at prime time it's as busy as any bar in the city, despite the fact that people don't tend to go to SoHo to "go out" in the way that most younger New Yorkers conceive of going out. Milady's has made itself a destination once again, and one well worth going out of your way for.We came here at around 10/10:15 on a Saturday night after getting dinner nearby. It was packed when we got there and there were a few parties waiting by the door. However, the hostess told us we could stand around behind the bar and the grab the first two seats that opened up, which luckily for us, happened within about five minutes. Not saying that's a guarantee for you, but there's a good amount of bar seating here. The Milday's drink menu (we only came for drinks, can't speak to the food) is unique in that the ABV for each cocktail is noted next to the name of each drink. I honestly think that this should become the norm, as sometimes a drink may look light or spirit-forward when you look at ingredients, but in actuality the strength may be different than expected (for example, a "punch" may seem like it will be boozy, but it's predominately liqueur/apertif-based). Where my own preferences are concerned, I like to try as much as I can on a menu without getting drunk, and this type of menu helps me to order strategically. I ended up going with boozier drinks, but that was my informed choice. To start, I got the Milady's Martini (fords gin, rose vermouth, fino sherry, santoni amaro) while my husband got the Hawaiian Iced Tea (grey goose l'orange, pisco, lilikol, tropical black tea, lemon, perrier). The martini was excellent -- delicate with some fruit notes, served in cute glassware with half of it left to sit over ice (a touch I always appreciate). The iced tea was a lower-ABV drink that was definitely tropical but very well-balanced and not overly sweet. For our second round, I got the Big Apple Martini (bombay sapphire, skyy vodka, apple brandy, green apple) and my husband got the Prince of Darkness (rum blend, oloroso sherry, falernum, don's mix, lime, bitters). This martini looked like it could be crass (for some reason that's the most fitting adjective I have to describe my expectation) and weird, but it was delicious. Definitely boozy. The Prince of Darkness was much more interesting than I expected -- it also had some tropical vibes but the flavors were cleaner and more pronounced than many tropical drinks.

Very cool, stylish bar. We came for a few drinks and had a great time. Very friendly knowledgeable waiter and cool decor (a bit retro and modern at the same time). Bloody opportunities and Joe the big old fashioned were loved. I had the coucou bananas, which had great flavor but too strong on the alcohol for me (the others with me thought it was great, I'm just a light weight). Also got the chocolate peanut butter blonde to share and it was excellent, highly recommend!
