Small old school type of diner that pumps out some decent breakfast. In an area that almost has no diners left it's nice to find a place where you could just sit down and have a hearty breakfast. The food here is always fresh without question and the coffee is good too. The service is always friendly and quick. Super clean too.There is a cash/credit total for the bill.

The food was decent. The menu however was unclear. Nothing saying you can't get a lunch special on the weekend. The ambiance was little kids walking around to all the tables in and out and around everyone's seats. Very noisy. Service. Hmmm how do I put this. Bad. The owner for the most part sat and watched others work. The guy clearing tables worked the hardest. Our waitress was MIA most of the meal. Not a smile not a how are you not anything welcoming at all. Cleanliness. I do t like the fact that the same dirty wet rag is used to wipe everything for every table. It's disgusting. Chairs tables everything. One rag. I can say I do not think we will be back. Oh and I was charged 1.86 for a slice of cheese

It's a great local diner to go to. They have a lot of options and their food is good. We always come here. This time, I had to call in an order and the woman on the phone was so nice. I shared a story with her about happened that day which caused us to call Mike's Diner. I explained that we were at Kings Plaza and on our way out, we ordered two burgers and fries from Shake Shack. Little did we know that we had to check the bag before we grabbed it. When we finally made it home, we were starving! We opened the bag and there were only fries!! We paid for a full meal and only got fries! We were very upset!Luckily, Mike's Diner has amazing burgers! The woman on the phone felt bad and gave us a free corn muffin with our meal! That was very nice! It's always good to stay loyal to the local businesses in the neighborhood! Thank you, Mike's Diner!

Took my mom here for some lunch , no pictures because my phone was acting up. We had orzo chicken soup Greek salad chicken and rice and a tuna wrap. Food was delicious! Place is emaculate! So clean and I was impressed . Server was very nice young man. Would dine here again!

Small old fashioned diner in brooklyn with great food and good service! Seems like the friendly type where the workers know the locals/regulars. Makes you feel like you are at home. Coffee wasn't THE best, but it did the job. Friendly staff. I ordered a BEC w/home fries. Pretty good. Fresh with no complaints. Was very clean and good atmosphere. Paid $20 (food+tip). Will be back for more if I'm ever in the area!

Who would have ever known you could screw up a chicken quesadilla? One of the easiest things you could whip up.I'd like to start off by pointing out that this quesadilla was not stuffed it was lacking chicken and had absolutely none of the basics that are usually in a quesadilla...onions, peppers. The grilled chicken was over cooked and it felt like I was chewing on a paper bag. The seasoning was kind of like a vinaigrette yet bland and flavorless with a hint of Rosemary.,After drowning it with sour cream and hot sauce I still couldn't seem to enjoy them,the guacamole which is powdered not made from a real avocado, reminded me of green Elmers glue not only because of the texture, but the foul taste. Yes, I have tasted Elmers glue before! I would not recommend this plate to anyone , I have also had their Garlic Parmesan wings, and those too have that vinaigrette taste.My suggestion if you want good quesadillas from a diner style joint you can go to Sunset Bagels.Located in Bay Ridge or Sunset park and you are going to pay the same price and get real guacamole, made from a real avocado And you'll have peppers,Onions, mushrooms, loaded with cheese and chicken.I assure you they will not be dry they will be bursting with juicy flavor. And if you're looking for good garlic Parmesan wings, I suggest Kettle Blacks grandpa Nunzio flavored.that's just from my experience folks,so there you have it and here I am very disappointed with these quesadillas, wishing that I never tried them.Horrible ,Mikes should be ashamed of themselves...

I'll start off by saying the coffee is good. After that, it was all downhill. We sat in a booth waiting to be given menus, cutlery, and a glass of water. After three trips, We eventually got menus, then cutlery, and finally water. The waitress got our pretty simple orders wrong (omelet with spinach and tomato, which was incredulously served as an omelet with sliced tomatoes on the side; and a grilled cheese with tomato which was delivered to the table sans tomato). Street parking only.Ambiance is relative to ordering a second round of drinks on the deck of the Titanic as it's sinking.

Look, it is rare that diner food is going to be amazing. This is the kind of diner food you get when it is 8 or 9 am, and you had a long night the night before, or it is 8 or 9 pm, and you want something easy because you either do not want to cook or forgot to defrost the meat that morning.The omelettes are big, but nothing crazy. The home fries are okay too, but could use a bit more seasoning. The portions are a nice size for the price. I also got a chocolate milkshake, while eccentric in appearance, certainly qualifies as an adequate diner milkshake.The service is friendly too. However, be advised it is a 15 minute walk to the nearest subway station, that being 18th Avenue on the D train.Before I left, I asked if they are related to the Mike's in Bay Ridge. They responded in the affirmative.Now I have to try that one out to see which one comes out on top.

Although their food is generally good, I have to say that I have not had such a great experience at their restaurant, itself. One of the servers, in particular, is very rude. Today, as I was leaving, one of their staff, although I'm not really sure whom, chased me outside to accuse me of only stopping-in to use the bathroom.

Never again will come to this diner. how you charge (2) people $35 for a simple breakfast. I mean all we had was a grill cheese with tomato. I had a bLT sandwich with a side of fries.the bacon was burnt , and they put some old white lettuce on my sandwich, wasn't even green at all. tomato was dripping wet with seeds. the orange juice was room temperature . than it took like 10-minutes to get pay. never again will I come to place . food was horrible , first and last time ever . don't come here . save yourself the aggravation.
