Ordered lamb over rice with white, hot, double salad, and paid extra for two additional sauces. Came with no salad, and no sauce. None on the food and none on the side. Why would I eat a halal platter with no sauce. That's insane, and so is this review. Super bummed, midnight craving gone and it's not because I'm full.

I have noticed a decline in the quality of the food recently. The portions have become smaller, and the meat, which used to be juicy and tender, is now quite dry. While I previously enjoyed coming to this food truck, I may explore other halal options.

was in the neighborhood and the Lamb over rice was as solid/delicious as I remembered. Cash only. Pricing is now $10. Max is $11. I only asked for a little red sauce and it was spicy! Hours are around 1030am to 5ish am. These guys are friendly but work their butts off

The service is pretty smooth . There's always a line waiting which says something about the quality and placement but the guys are efficient and work well together . The downside is that it's possible to get meat that was cooked before you ordered it which obviously what happened with my order because the meat was dry and tasted like dirt . No ambiance here , it's a standard NYC street vendor. If you're going try these guys be sure to ask how long the meat has been sitting.

The best halal food in all of New York. I wish other NYers could savor this deliciousness. If only they could be in other locations besides Bay Ridge. Highly recommend the mix Gyro. It's the best sandwich in NY. I've tried this combination at other Halal carts and it never compares this place. Their lamb is seasoned much different than any other halal cart. It's not as salty and the meat has a nice bounce to it. Chicken is fantastic too. The seasoning is more middle eastern style than the curry flavor seasoning you might get at other places.If you're in Bay Ridge or looking for some late night snacks, come here at this Brooklyn landmark. Definitely one of my favorite places in south Brooklyn.Cheers

I don't live around bay ridge so I waited sooo long to finally try this place and honestly was quite disappointed. The food was definitely fresh and hot, however the flavor profile was not there for an $11 platter. Its pretty comparable to the halal guys, but the lamb is in tiny pieces that have no lamb flavor. The sign says price increase on june 26, but hes already demanding the new price 3 weeks early.
