Decent Mediterranean food in the WV, they have a neighbor who perhaps does it better. Props to this place for having availability and staying open all day, unlike their neighbor. Off all the dips - Hummus is perhaps the best!

Everything was yummy, great hummus, shawarma and felafel. But... am I insane, I thought tabouli was salad? Here it seems to be a bowl of couscous. Also, it was quite expensive.

My friend and I came here for lunch on a Saturday. It was not too busy, and we were given the choice to sit inside or sit in their patio parklet. It was surprisingly a nice day out in winter so we decided to sit in the patio.Food:I ordered the mushroom ravioli. The ravioli was filled perfectly. The pasta did not come sauced but had walnuts and parmesan. It felt like a lighter dish since it did not have a sauce. I would order it again. Service:Service was a little slow, but not too bad. Our server and runners were friendly. It was a little difficult to get water refills since we were outside though. Our food came out promptly. TL;DR - great place for lunch & sit outside if weather permits

We've eaten at the 10th Ave. in Midtown location a couple of times and liked it, but we didn't know there's a Village location. Took a long walk down the Hudson River bikeway/walkway and got off in the Village to look for somewhere to have dinner. Found the mémé on Hudson St. and we were pleasantly surprised to be able to get an outside table a little after 6 on a Saturday evening. My back was to the restaurant, so I faced the street and the pretty park across the street. I had a beer, hubs had a glass of red wine and we both drank plenty of water after the long hot walk.I decided to have 2 appetizers. Started with the grilled eggplant, which was 3 strips of eggplant rolled around (menu says stuffed with) a delicious blend of cheeses, in a just spicy enough red sauce. Like eggplant rollatini but neither breaded nor fried, which was perfect. Three smallish rollups, very satisfying merge of flavors. I was almost sorry that I'd ordered more, because even though the portion wasn't huge, I was filling up with that and my brew. But I had ordered the appetizer warm halloumi cheese salad, because a. I can't resist halloumi, and b. it also had butternut squash! Couldn't go wrong with that combo! The halloumi was like croutons, little squares that were crunchy. The butternut squash was several half moons of warm, soft, yummy squash, over a small mixed greens salad, with pepitas and a lovely vinaigrette. I was completely satisfied with my meal!My husband ordered the mushroom ravioli and loved it! It was a bowl with a generous portion of ravioli, covered with what looked like shavings of mushrooms and parmesan cheese. Also some walnuts. He said the ravioli also had mushroom inside and that it was excellent. Service very good, food very good. Highly recommend!

We ate in this restaurant for the first time with another couple. It's a small, very nice looking place, with excellent service. We started out with some cocktails, tasty and plentiful. The waitress brought some pita with spiced olive oil to dip. Nice! We ordered three appetizers, gnocchi, tuna tartare and grilled octopus. Though quite delicious, very small portions. For our main entrees , our friends had a couscous dish and a chicken shawarma. The first dish was plentiful, the second not so much. My husband had the chicken tagine , I had the Bronzino with vegetables. He loved his dish, and actually took some home, since there was a lot of food. Mine was an extremely small portion, swimming in oil, but tasty. For dessert we shared the baclava, delicious and tea from fresh mint leaves. Very good. All in all, it was a tasty dinner, with some of the dishes more abundant than others. I'm not sure if I'd go back.

Mushroom ravioli! Must try the Mushroom ravioli! We stopped by for brunch to try the steak and eggs; mushroom ravioli; and lamb kebabs. This fed our family of 4 easily. Our favorite was hands down the mushroom ravioli - because of the TRUFFLE :) it's rare when a place is so generous with amount of truffle and this did not disappoint. The kebabs was also great because it came with a lot including rice, salad and hummus. I felt plenty full after!Cute inside, great for a small group experience. Staff is great! Just felt tight and noisy, and heads up bathroom is quite small/not so great. Have a separate bathroom plan haha. We ran over to Chelsea Market

My cousin was in town visiting from FL and we walked by this cute spot and the menu looked diverse, yet not overwhelming and very well priced. We were not disappointed. We started off with the shrimp appetizer, which was had a lovely seasoning and was perfectly. My cousin had the mushroom ravioli and I had the 6 oz steak in a delicious peppercorn sauce with mashed potatoes and sautéed spinach. All terrific. Service was exceptional, friendly and attentive. The bartender was excellent, also playing DJ that included a sweet mix of classic New Orleans artists. Highly recommended!

the green shakshuka was genuinely horrible. it did not even come in a bowl. there was nothing to dip the pita in. 60% tasteless spinach, 40% other veggies. some kind of blended spinach purée on top of the spinach. eggs were severely undercooked. i love runny yolks but this was practically raw. no sauce. kept trying to scoop the veggies into the pita but it did not work. restaurant was too loud. staff was nice. also liked the cornbread that came when we sat down. that had more flavor than anything in the green shakshuka. was equally as hungry after the meal as when i got there. went to a museum after this and felt like passing out due to no energy (felt like i didn't eat anything all day yet). ruined my whole day. should have ordered something else. also this was $25

Love the food service is great. The diversity of food is really good. Seating is a bit tight, but the service is great and the food is just excellent. It's so refreshing the spices and the taste as unique.
