Maxine's on the Boulevard

Food came quickly and tasted good. I had to honey mustard wing dinner. With a side of extra potato salad and rice and beans.

I haven't updated my reviews in a while but if you can tell from the amount of check ins I have here this place is still 10/10! I love the service and the food. They know who I am and always give me a little special treatment when I come to pick up my order.

This was supposed to be my first review lol. Man this is probably the best soul food spot in Jamaica Queen that's still left landing. I love a good old wings dinner with Mac and cheese and yams and a butter cake. One of the ladies behind the bulletproof glass is naturally mean so don't take it personal.

Maxine's has been a life saver on more nights than I can count. Once you become a regular, it's second nature to order before you're starving because it's about a 45 minute wait. This isn't the place for "fast food" but definitely the place for fresh food on a budget. I highly recommend.

ChrysanthiusI live in Brooklyn and everyone knows i will travel anywhere to get good food, I love the Stewed Brown Chicken Lunch Special you get meat with 2 veggies. You can't beat that for under $8.00. and I can make two meals out of it. The have the best homemade fresh cakes for $3.50 a slice ( large slices). The catfish is the best I've tasted so far. I love the potato salad, I usually call my order in and it is usually ready when I arrive.

Food was tasteless and had an odor was not fresh at all will not order again Peach cobbler was good at all tasted like sautéed peaches with heavy nutmeg with two pieces of crust

One of my favorite little places when you are craving some good whitening fish, you must stop here!! The Blvd. always puts there foot in there cooking!! I love the fact that when you order the fish it's made to order so it's never just sitting there, it's always crispy and fresh!! The flavors of the fish is simply juicy and flavored to perfection!! My favorite side I typically get is the collard greens!! Which just by itself you can get full off of!! The macaroni and cheese is good as well.. If your craving some soul food/ comfort food this is a must try spot!!

This might be the best soul food spot in NYC !! Affordable & delicious!!! Been eating here for almost 9 years and literally every single time I had this shit it's hitting every single time !!!! No question !

i order my meals from Uber eats. their lunch specials which go all day. Are just amazing. always tasty,always fresh. I love this spot. and I will continue to buy food from here.
