Wanted to do a walk in the cemetery so stopped in Marge's because it was reasonably close by. Great choice! My husband and I split the avocado toast with egg and smoked salmon and the steak burrito, both were yummy! The steak burrito especially was fantastic, though there were a few too many fries and there wasn't a ton else in there. Toast was good too, nothing too too special but it was good. They also give you a side salad which is basic but it's nice to have a healthy option / to get some veggies during a meal that's usually light on fiber. I don't know that it's worth a special trip since we don't live nearby, but I'd definitely return if I was in the area and if we lived close I'm sure we'd be back!

I stopped by here for brunch one day with my husband after looking at nearby daycare centers. We had a pleasant experience the first time around, and recently came back this morning. We like this little unassuming café because it's quiet and not super busy and loud. The servers/baristas are nice and make great coffee. We highly recommend their waffles. My go-to is the tres leches waffles that come with fresh sliced strawberries. They have other kinds of pancakes and waffles like blueberry and banana's foster. The ultimate burrito is also a great breakfast burrito for savory lovers but is on the smaller side and comes with a little salad, which I don't find necessary for the dish but some may like it.Today, my husband tried their spicy chicken sandwich and enjoyed the flavors of it. The chicken was on the drier side, and fries were crispy but could've used more salt. Salt and pepper shakers are available on the table though.I tried the croissant beurre, which had ham, gruyere cheese and arugula. I added scrambled egg for an additional $2. You can customize how you want the eggs cooked for the dish. I personally didn't enjoy this one. The arugula makes the whole thing quite bitter, and the ham isn't spread out through the whole croissant and left the croissant soggy as well. The mac and cheese was served in a mini cast iron pan and was delicious, sharable between 2 or even 3 people. We like to order the iced caramel macchiato, which is essentially an iced caramel latte. Not a traditional macchiato by any means. They have alternative milks, which is a plus for my fellow lactose intolerant people. We get these coffees with oat milk and they make it to the perfect level of sweetness.The space is open, bright, and clean. The tables are all equipped with pre-wrapped silverware, napkins, straws, and a variety of condiments, which is great. Overall, we enjoy visiting this café and recommend others to try them out. Some food items seem to be a hit or miss, but overall, once you find the ones you like, they seem consistent each visit.For my fellow drivers, there's metered parking around the area. And plenty of bike racks also on the sidewalk. The café has a singular bathroom also.

Been going here since it was Cafe Rose.. really rooting for this location! Came here today with a bleeding hand and empty stomach, Juan took right care of both. He brought out the cafe med kit and dressed my wound (dog bite), then brought me the absolute most delicious breakfast burrito ever. I was admittedly skeptical of the potatoes inside the burrito, but it works! The service here is top notch! When you walk in, the staff say "hello" and "nice to see you here!" - they've definitely taught me about how to make your customers feel welcome! (Compare to the bagel shop staff in beacon NY who don't even look at you when they mumble "it's gonna be a while" pointing to a table )Thanks Juan, for the extra kindness and yummy food! Oh, and how can I forget the lovely Lavender Latte?!

Tuscan Toast was amazing, loved the overall feel of the cafe. Decently priced. My friend wanted the Vegan Breakfast and was told they are out of egg substitute, and have been for months now. Very unfortunate. Overall a good experience and good breakfast!

Great place for Brunch. Laid back atmosphere. Friendly and inviting staff. MUST get the mac and cheese with bacon. AWESOME!! I had the Cornbeef with eggs. 9 out of 10 Wife had the Eggs Benedict 8 out of 10. Overall, it's a great neighborhood place with decent prices. In the words of Arnold....I'll be back!!!

Walk in from street stroll and found this pleasant spot on Fifth Avenue off Prospect Avenue.... Café/Light dining. Ambience is an unexpected delight (light music coupled with interval jazz/musical beats); staff is very attentive and friendly;easy menu with vegetarian and meat dishes... small menu but good food picks.. I enjoyed my turkey brie sandwich with fries although side salad was also an option. My friend had the vegetarian burger...with salad and dressing... she was a happy camper. Coffees were super hot but it was cold outside so we enjoyed them ... prep is for the cold weather that awaited us after our great meal. We left empty plates !!!! Believe me I ate the salad depicted in my photos!!! Btw love places that are kid friendly!!!!! Free WiFi is the added +++++**

Opens at 8:00. Enjoyed relaxing breakfast with great cup of coffee and tasty bananas foster pancakes. My husband had BK breakfast and enjoyed the spicy potatoes that were crisply fried along with eggs, bacon and a delicious apple pastry. Great service, clean and full of light. Very cheery.
