I came here on a Friday night. I thought it would be more packed and busy but it was not. Service was great; they were attentive. We got our pastas relatively fast and were out in under an hour. I got the ragu and I was pleasantly surprised by the portion of duck in it.

Came here for a Valentines lunch - avoid the crowd. Restaurant was pretty empty - we decided to sit at the bar and kept it pretty casual. Ordered the Frito misto - mixture of calamari and shrimps. Very good. Also ordered the mussels pasta and panini under their lunch special for $15 each. Can't complain although I must say the pasta was a lot better than the panini.

Food was fine - but what makes me give a 2 star rating is the service. We ordered diet cokes for my husband and I and received diet cokes in small glasses with mostly ice. Of course, these finished rather quickly given the small portion, but our waiter enthusiastically offered to refill each time. We were under the impression that these refills were complimentary given the small size and lack of providing us with our own cans. Needless to say we were shocked when we recieved the bill and were charged $5 for each refill to total $35.When we tried to discuss this with our server, all he offered was "sorry."F in customer service, would absolutely not recommend.

First time at Mareluna and it definitely did not disappoint. The restaurant is clean, cozy, and intimate. Staff were friendly and checked in on us often. My friend and I shared the bruschetta, cacio e pepe, and pear salad. Bruschetta was better than I expected - Bread was soft and nicely toasted with well seasoned tomatoes. Cacio e pepe was so simple and flavorful. The spaghetti was perfectly al dente and chewy. Mareluna spritz is sweet, refreshing, and fruity. Pear salad was just okay, not memorable. In the end, my friend and I left with full and satisfied bellies!

10/1/202410/2/2024Greetings and Salutations Another spot tried for dinner for the first time and enjoyed so much returned the next evening.Seems to be a popular after work spot. Upon entering very loud and boisterous but I was due to a function.Passed the revelry and was seated at table as I waited for friends.Upon taking a bite and a slow moan is illicited is a clear indication of the yumminess. That is how it was for the Ragu D'Anatra and the Tiramisu. All other items pretty good.Good time was had by all.

Big fan of the burrata and the Cacio E Pepe (wish I split this with someone who got the Pomodoro) - twas a bit heavy w all the cream and cheese (but still excellent)! Lovely waitstaff and the weather made the outdoor seating delightful! Great little birthday spot!Cheers!

Got dinner here with a friend on a weekday after work. It was a one man show as that one person was the hostess, waiter, and bartender. Purely understaffed. He did an amazing job juggling everything with the amount of customers that came. For drinks, my friend ordered the Aquarella ($19) (gin based drink) and I got the Mareluna Espresso Martini ($19). Presentation-wise it's outstanding and they both taste wonderful. For appetizers, we shared the Prosciutto E Burrata ($35), which is essentially a prosciutto and burrata board with a few pieces of bread. This is a great dish to split amongst a bigger group. The Calamari Mediterranei ($19) is their fancy way of calling fried calamari which has both squid and shrimp. For entrees, we shared the Ragu D'Anatra ($29) with the main ingredient consists of 8 hour gently cooked duck. The Ragu Di Aragosta ($32) is a lobster pasta with lobster crema. Both tastes amazing. The best part of the meal was of course the dessert. Can't go wrong with the Tiramisu ($13), which is a classic. Profiterole ($15) is a hazelnut praline cream with a scoop of vanilla gelato drizzled with sea salt candied almonds and chocolate sauce. If that sounds good to you, that's because it is. It is a must order.I probably would skip the appetizers and just order the entrees and definitely get the desserts. That alone is filling enough to share amongst a group of people.

This low key Italian restaurant is worth checking out. They have a great daily happy hour and a menu with plenty to choose from.Definitely recommend the Burrata, very creamy and fresh. The portions are enough to share. Our server was a sweetheart, he was busy playing: hostesses, waiter and bartender!Highly recommended reservations if you are a big party.

This charming Italian spot in Flatiron is perfect for both a fun night out with friends and a romantic date. The space is warm and inviting, with soft lighting, beautiful artwork, and floral decorations that create a truly romantic and cozy atmosphere. Impatto ($19): This bourbon cocktail with lavender and blackberry puree was the perfect way to start the evening.Gnocchi Fritti ($15): These unique cheese-filled gnocchi with a truffle parmesan dipping sauce were recommended by the waiter and didn't disappoint! They were perfectly soft and chewy, and the truffle flavor was incredible.Fritto Misto ($19): This dish of lightly battered calamari, shrimp, and baby zucchini is a must-order! The seafood was incredibly fresh, the batter light and crispy, and the accompanying Calabrian chili aioli is a must! Ragù di Aragosta ($32): This rigatoni with lobster in a creamy tomato sauce was a hit. The pasta was cooked al dente, and there was a generous amount of lobster meat. The only thing missing was a bit more seasoning.Bistecca ($48): The perfectly cooked flatiron steak with crispy fingerling potatoes, salsa verde, and a flavorful garlic duo was our favorite. The basil-based sauce was delicious, and the steak itself was cooked to perfection.Tiramisu ($13): This classic dessert with espresso caramel, mascarpone, and dark chocolate was also excellent.Profiterole ($15): This was our absolute favorite! Light and airy puff pastry filled with a delicious hazelnut praline cream, topped with candied almonds, vanilla gelato, and chocolate sauce. It was the perfect balance of sweetness and textures. The service was fantastic, making us even more excited to return and explore more dishes on their menu! Make sure to add this spot to your NYC foodie list!!
