Marco Polo Ristorante

Time for an update. Since my last review, been here numerous times--birthdays, holidays, introduced a friend, just because or no reason at all. When you dine at Marco Polo, it makes me feel at home and nostalgic. We recently enjoyed a delicious Christmas Eve dinner that exceeded expectations. The wait staff was knowledgeable to answer any questions and accommodating to substitute pasta instead of vegetables. Who doesn't love pasta? And BTW, they just happen to make the best Aperol Spritz.For starters, the seafood salad never disappoints as it was loaded with delicious Octopus, Shrimp and Calamari while the Hot Antipasto offered a perfect balance as the companion selection to accompany the seafood salad. We wished the hot antipasto came in twos for some of the pieces we had to cut in half but all good.The Codfish Livornese was really good and filling. Prepared excellently and smothered in a tomato sauce with a side of pasta. We had to take the rest home to allow room for dessert. The dessert happened to be Rainbow Gelato. Decadent and delicious with signature Rainbow Cookie to top it off.We wrapped things up by having a nightcap with the owner, Joe--always pleasant and hospitable (as is his son Marco, namesake of the restaurant). Marco Polo--keep doing what you do and we will keep returning. Solid.

My wife and I had a most excellent lunch at Maro Polo. We were brought to a inside table but it was the outer part that was inclosed and the nearest table was more than 6 feet apart was we were comfortable with that.This restaurant has been around for a long time. My wife used to go with her father 30 years ago. But the menu is as modern as could be. The staff is very hospitable and the food came out fast. We decided to share since it was lunch. First a stuffed zucchini flower. Lightly breaded with mozzarella cheese inside second a lovely grilled peach salad with Gorgonzola and walnuts and finally we shared a grilled Bronzino which was perfectly cooked. We ended up taking our dessert home cause of Time constraints. It was a nice arrangement of fruit. We appreciate it that the restaurant, would have fruit for dessert. I'm no longer able to have sugar or chocolate so it was a nice treat. Thank you so much to the Maître d'

We had a delightful birthday dinner at Marco Polo last night. The food? Delicious. The service? Fast and friendly. But the real showstopper? A private wedding anniversary party that spilled out of the main dining room like a confetti cannon--blessing the rest of the patrons with its joyful chaos. The entire restaurant turned into one big celebration, with live music and vocals that made it feel like we were all part of the family. Honestly, I felt as if I should have brought gift for the happy couple--because at that point, I felt like I was part of the festivities! The show wrapped up with the Lou Monte classic - Luna Mezzo Mare. The Chef/Owner bid us a thank you and good night at the door.

Exceptional service. Attentive staff without intrusive interruptions like so many other restaurants. Every course exceeded the previous. (Ask to be seated with Gloria, for an elegant dining experience)They are famous for this dish prepared with precision table side but don't miss out on the specials, they are exceptional.

First I'd like to thank Marco Polo Ristorante for their absolutely excellent service in the catering hall for my daughter's 1st birthday party. From start to finish, the planning, the service, the food, they went above and beyond to make sure it was everything we wanted and more. Their staff are top tier, the food is another level, fine imported ingredients and house made fresh meals. Our guests truly could not stop raving about the food. They gladly worked with us to make sure we had a variety of the things our guests would love. The staff tireless worked to clear tables, check on guests & made us feel like they were a part of our special day. Let's be honest, it's not everyday you can feel this way when hosting a large 100 person party these days, they really set a bar for excellence. So much so that I couldn't wait to go back and dine at their restaurant on the 1st floor. I came back this weekend just for that for my birthday dinner. What a memorable food & dining experience. Traditional style meets elevated & modern. Not your average Italian menu, but captures the essence of the traditional cuisine. Once again, impeccable service, make you feel as though they really value servicing their guests. I can't say enough great things. Special thank you to Marco for picking an excellent champagne & providing 5 star service. We know we will be back for more.

Nice cozy spot with really solid food.Oysters rockefeller were creamy and delicious, and I loved their vongole pasta. The linguine itself was cooked perfectly al dente.Service was excellent as well. Very prompt and attentive. Loved the experience! Will definitely be back.

The food and services were great. I ordered the Ravioli with lamb and mushrooms. My husband had pasta con sarda and we also shared a beer salad and baked eggplant. The ambience is beautiful every table was decorated with pink flowers. I highly recommend this place.

Marco Polo is an old school Italian restaurant that underwent some changes a few years ago. Those changes appear to have worn off. I stopped in to grab some dinner, and I was disappointed. My Tito's and soda was well Vodka and flat soda. A special of Angel Hair pasta with mixed seafood was a mushy mess. A glass of Super Tuscan red was very good. Overall a mediocre experience. My fiance and I always loved coming here when we lived in the area. We recently moved away and drove over an hour here on Valentine's Day because the food is THAT good. The artichokes in pesto Aoli and veal parm were to die for !! We also wanted to get our usual dish- the red wine pasta, however it was not on the Valentine's Day menu. The staff and Chef Marco were so kind and made it for us anyway. The food staff and service are all 10/10!

Food fantastic service impeccable lovely ambience.There was a fiftieth anniversary party going on so there was added entertainment of a dj and piano playing and singing. Unexpected and a little loud but fun.Highly recommend.
