Love this old school diner, classic ambience and feel.The pancakes have an incredible texture, slightly hard on the outside and pillowy soft on the inside. Our server also recommended the breakfast burrito which was a great choice as well. Will be back to try more items!FYI there can be a decently long line (~30 mins) to be seated, particularly on weekends.

I have had some hit and misses ordering from them off Grub Hub, but my first visit in restaurant was pretty good. The ambience is still classic diner, which I appreciate. The food is good and the service was also good. It was overall and nice lunch experience. I'll most likely be back. Hoping delivery is as good as this was.

Every time we come to this place, we are confronted with the worst attitude from the hostess. Every single time. Same person, same terrible attitude. It's a terrible way to start a dining experience. The food is average but unfortunately there are not many diner options around.

Three Decker is very much a "know what you're getting into" place. It is a diner, with a massive menu, large portion sizes, and it keeps everything simple.You're not going to walk out blown away by the flavor odyssey your taste buds just went on, but if you go in with the right attitude I promise this is a 5 star experience.I've been here several times, most recently I had the meatball sub with disco fries and a martini, and it was exactly what I needed at that moment. The meatball sub had a great meatball-sauce-cheese ratio and the disco fries are some of my favorite cheese fries in the city -- and that's not something I say lightly.On a trip here a while back I got a waffle with ice cream on it because that's what my soul needed that day. Service can be a tad slow but I love hanging out here because it has a lovely diner ambiance and is never too loud to have a great conversation with friends.In summary, can't recommend this place enough if you're looking for simple diner food. Absolute neighborhood staple and I will be back several times without a doubt :)

I came here on Saturday afternoon (Feb. 10) to catch-up with a friend. I can't tell you the last time I've eaten at a diner and I looked forward to breakfast at Manhattan Three Decker. There was a line out the door and about a thirty-five minute wait, which didn't deter us because it was a nice day. Besides, if folks are willing to wait in line, then the food must be exceptional, right? Hmm after my meal, I wouldn't say it's exceptional but edible. The menu has tons of options and I opted for three eggs and kielbasa which is accompanied with home fries and toast (chose sourdough but I believe I was given white). The sliced cheese added flavor to the eggs that desperately needed salt and black pepper. (Rhetorical question: why not use shredded cheese and fold in the cheese versus plopping down a slice atop eggs? It screams afterthought, in my opinion.) The potatoes had good flavor but needed more sear as did the kielbasa. I like my breakfast meat cooked hard so I didn't really eat much of the sausage. The diner, which gives a bit of a nostalgic feel, is a bit small but doesn't feel cramped. No complaints about the service. Prices are reasonable

Great place, the staff is friendly and the food is great but please fix your door or add a vestibule it is freezing and the door stays open bringing in all of the cold weather from the intersection and it makes it very difficult to even eat if you're anywhere up to 20 feet from the door and specially the bar. Please fix.
