Malone's Chop House

Good old-school steakhouse. Service is always friendly and the food is good. Keep in mind Malone's is located waaaaay down in Brooklyn in Bay Ridge near the Verrazano Bridge. Otherwise, I'd come here more.Super cozy steakhouse for when you're in the area. Recommended!

Been here numerous times and our meals have always been excellent! Last night decided to change it up and ordered chicken parm over rigatoni with vodka sauce and it was delicious! My husband ordered the dry aged strip steak and it was the best one we've had to date! The quality of meat ordered by this restaurant beats any other local steakhouse by a mile! The prices are comparable but I also don't mind paying more for quality products.

Large portions, great staff!Malone did not disappoint! The food was fresh, flavorful and plenty. We enjoyed each item we ordered except the crab cakes... the lemon overpowered the crab taste. Our lobster bisque was hot and creamy, steak good to our liking and flavorful, bake potato fluffy and hot and the asparagus friti was a nice treat. I would recommend going here for family dinners, celebrations or when you just really want to eat good.

My husband and I came here recently after looking for a new steakhouse in Brooklyn. Malone's did not disappoint! We ordered the whipped ricotta app and the dry-aged ribeye, both cooked and seasoned very well. Service was attentive and warm. I've frequented Peter Luger's (Malone's is better in my opinion) amongst other steakhouses in NYC and Malone's does it right and will be on repeat for us!

There's an old saying that goes "you get what you pay for". In this case, we received a lot more. From start to finish, the experience was superb. This is a cozy restaurant near the Verrazano bridge in Bay Ridge. The decor was unique. The seating was comfy. The service was above and beyond what I'd hoped for. And the food! Everything we tried was delicious. We started with the cheese plate and loaded cottage fries. My husband and daughter had filetMignon and I went with the NY strip with asparagus friti and the au gratin sides. The cocktails were delicious and they made myDaughter a delicious mock mojito. We will definitely be back. This is a great place to celebrate and have a great meal. This is the kind of service, food and experience I miss in restaurants and I'm glad to have found it again.

I went to Malone's on Valentine's Day . What a great experience. I slacked on reserving a table until it was late in the week. The female manager accommodated me and put me down for 2. When we got there she was incredibly nice. She let me know that the kitchen was slammed and that my reservation would be delayed a little. She bought me a drink and apologized. No problem. Our food was fantastic, the bartender was amazing and our server, while slammed was great. Valentine's Day is always crazy, but Malone's handled everything well and my wife and I left very happy. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are the kind of person that appreciates great food, great atmosphere, and great service.

The service here is so good! Is this Keen's in Manhattan? No, but it doesn't pretend to be either. It's a leveled-up neighborhood chop house that delivers consistently. The service and the quality of food at Malone's is honestly wonderful. Wines by the glass selection?Excellent! Steaks and appetizers ? Fabulous! In fact, I love to sit at the bar and order a bunch of apps to share, because the portions are so big. Klevis is of my favorite bartenders in the neighborhood, and he knows how to make a solid cocktail even if you want something off-menu. Ayala, the manager and maitre d', is such a gem! She is so warm and welcoming, and it's clear how much she loves her job and how much she contributes to the restaurant overall. She encourages the entire team to focus on delivering a neighborhood vibe, and always knows everyone's name no matter how recent you are to visiting.

I have to say this place is awesome, from the food to the decor to the service. The bartender greeted us as soon as we stepped in the door. The hostess was the best so sweet, professional and upbeat. She really went above and beyond to accommodate me and my family on one of the busiest night of the year. ( I mean it is Valentine's Day!!!!!! ) She was cleaning and setting up tables at rapid speed and doing whatever she could to get everyone seated (while being stared at by dozens of angry hungry people that have clearly never been out on a holiday) ..... btw you people suck for that but anyways...I gotta say MAJOR PROPS to the staff at Malones. you guys ROCK! We waited for a little while by the bar but no biggie they bought some drinks and we had a few laughs by the DJ. so now onto the food The steaks came out perfect to order and service was on point with all considering. I would def come back again especially on a non holiday to enjoy their amazing atmosphere. great music and good vibes I love it at malones and I will be back time and time again.

All I can say is what a JOKE. Don't come here. Waited over an hour for our reservation time and had people who were sat before us not even get their food as we were leaving. Take your money elsewhere
