Hidden gem!! That I want to stay hidden but can't keep it to myself this spot is too good! They do Karaoke night which I have yet to attend but will be. But i love this place so much! Food: 5/5 I've tried their fish tacos which are delishhh! From beginning to end. I mean I literally could eat them everyday. Always fresh and made to order. So many different flavors that mesh so well together. I've also tried their brunch menu where I had the Belgian waffles and fried catfish and a lavender lemonade. The waffle was made nicely fluffy and catfish was tasty as well. Service: 5/5 Customer service has been amazing every visit. I cannot stress that enough! Ambiance: 5/5 This restaurant is just the right size for an intimate date, brunch which they have on Sunday's and the music is ALWAYS on point! There's ample seating inside and they have. Backyard which I love. Classy, nice carribean cultural vibe and nicely furnished and pretty to look at!

Hey hey, it's a newer Caribbean restaurant near where one of my close friends lives! We were able to grab a table, and somehow got in there before several other folks did. We all ordered things after a while, and the highlight was the saltfish avocado tostones... Omg. Every single element about that appetizer was peak. That would be a regular item for me. This restaurant is definitely broadly Caribbean, there are Puerto Rican, Dominican, Jamaican, Trinidadian, and other influences on the menu. The biggest issue was the wait time for food... Every person's food came out like 15 minutes apart, and one's stuff was cold. The restaurant offered to replace it, but they ran out, so they couldn't :(. Everything else about the place was great -- it's a newer restaurant, and I think the block party increased to-go orders and delivery orders by a lot. So I give the benefit of the doubt on that.

Ma Lillit is a new business in the area serving up really good Trinidadian food. The restaurant and decor is super cute and they have such a nice backyard space. I was able to host an event here using the outdoor space and it was amazing. All my guests loved the restaurant, loved the food and the drinks. The staff was so nice and accommodating and the owner went above and beyond. The French 75 was a crowd favorite. In addition to the oxtail and curry chicken wontons.

The food is absolutely amazing. I'm saying everything on the menu is delicious. The staff is also very pleasant. It feels like family every time I go there. Make sure you get the curry chicken wontons, you will never be disappointed. The backyard is gorgeous, make sure you check it out! It's lovely for a date night, out with the family, friends or even solo.

Ma Lillit's is a welcome addition to the neighborhood. The Trinidadian fusion cuisine is delicious. Everything my husband and I ate was perfectly prepared and seasoned. The owner was friendly and attentive and the backyard is an inviting space where we enjoyed a leisurely meal. I had the saltfish avocado tostones, an unexpectedly scrumptious combination of sweet, salty, and savory tastes. My husband ordered the fish tacos and gobbled them up in two or three quick bites. He also ordered the Whip Yuh Tail, and enjoyed it so much that he went back for seconds. The Caribbean salad was divine, I added salmon, which was perfectly prepared and not at all dry. The citrus vinaigrette and bits of mango made it one of the best salads I've had in recent memory. I enjoyed the Lavender Lemonade and ordered a second helping. This is an ideal date spot, somewhere where you and your beloved can feel like you're the only two people in the world. I applaud the restaurant's creativity and elevation of Trini flavors. I can't wait to get back there and I suggest you check it out and support this Black woman-owned gem.

I have been to this restaurant multiple times and I finally had time to write a review. All of the dishes that I tried there such as the burger, oxtail wontons, pepper shrimp and the chili glazed fish has been amazing. The service is top tier and I think that Ma Lillit is a great addition to the neighborhood, Definitely can't wait to go back.

Went there a little while ago. The oxtail wontons are incredible .I usually stick with that and this one particular day, I decided to try to order the pasta with chicken.. The pasta was watered down so all of the flavor was at the bottom and not stuck to the pasta. The jerk chicken tasted like they heated it up slightly and just added jerk sauce on top of it. When I asked to change the platter, basically the waiter was refusing to let me change the order . She stated that they are a small business and they cannot be wasting food, but I explained as a customer of the food isn't great. It honestly turned me off from ever wanting to go back . I do understand as a small business you cannot afford to waste food, but at the same time, I am a paying customer and I wasn't satisfied . The drinks are amazing. I wish they were open consistently so I can go back and try the oxtail dinner but every time I try to go there lately they have been closed.

I'm mad that I waited so long to finally eat at Ma Lillit. My husband and I stopped in for happy hour on a Friday evening. The coconut and soca rum punch were both delicious (and strong). Once we had the curry chicken wontons we decided to settle in and try the entrees. I highly recommend both the escovitch snapper and the Trini pepper shrimp with chow mein. Both dishes were ridiculously flavorful and perfectly cooked. Looking forward to my leftovers tomorrow and coming back again soon.

I stopped into this cute Caribbean restaurant a couple of weeks ago with my fiancé as part of our monthly date night, and I'm so glad I did! The place had a nice vibe, the owner came out to welcome us and suggested some of the popular dishes on the menu. Everyone was very friendly and hospitable. We had the curry chicken wontons as our appetizer and for our entree I had the slow braised oxtail and my fiancé had the jerk chicken. The curry chicken wontons were fantastic, I contemplated taking some to go lol. Both our meals were delicious but the jerk chicken was my favorite. The portions were plentiful, the atmosphere was chill and the staff was very friendly. If you're in the neighborhood, stop in. You won't be disappointed!
