Don't you love it when neighborhood restaurants deliver the goods? Let me tell you about this quiet sleeper called Brooklyn MA Thai-ger. Before you even say it, I know it's a long name for a restaurant, but I guess they wanted you to know that it's Thai and located in Brooklyn. Forgive me, I digress; back to this incredible restaurant powerhouse. The one thing that jumped out at me about this restaurant was how cozy it was. Although I dined alone, I could see many couples enjoying the place's cozy ambiance. Brooklyn MA Thai-Ger doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles, but it's big on superb customer service and authentic Thai food. I highly recommend you grab a friend or even a solo dinner and enjoy Brooklyn, MA, Thai-ger.

Service was quick and easy, came with a group and ordered food to share. The see yew noodles and panang curry were both good and tasty, but the pineapple fried rice was extremely bland. We weren't the biggest fans of the tom yum soup either. I'd probably come back for the first two items but would pass on the fried rice and soup.

I ordered in via Ubereatas, asked for Pad kee mao to be spicy and it definitely was! I was taken aback but other than that it was really tasty. I do think they skimped on the portion size, the container wasn't filled entirely so I'm deducting a star

I've been coming here for the past 2 years and the Tom yum soup never disappoints it has the right amount of veggies and protein. The spice level is perfect.

The hub and I went back today -- exactly one week from our first visit -- as we were craving the pad thai. The server (she may be the owner, I should've asked) recognized us right away and when we order the minced chicken basil again she knew we wanted it much spicier than it was last weekend. They amped up the spice level significantly and it was perfection, I'd imagine it's how this dish is traditionally supposed to be (rather than "dumbed-down" to appeal to a wider audience). Following up the spicy with the slightly sweet pad thai was definitely the move. I've increased my rating from 4 to 5 as both dishes were the best we've had. Keep up the good work, MA!(In my original review, I mentioned the off-putting music selection and that it was way too loud. Today, the music was lovely, a jazzy upbeat piano soundtrack. The volume was still too high -- it should simply be in the background. The other environmental tweak they could make it turning up the heat a little, as it's a bit cold in there.)

Service is friendly, and the food is tasty. However, presentation is lacking given the price of these dishes. We ordered a Massaman curry, and it came with literally just liquid and onions and the meat. There were no potatoes. The server said he would bring us a separate plate of potatoes. After a while, we were brought a plate with four tiny bits. It was tasty, but did not make sense portion wise. Curry dishes appear to be inexpensive at first, but you also have to pay extra for rice and protein.Shrimp clay pot is described as cooked and served in a clay pot style. But it came in a plastic bowl. It was otherwise tasty.Ambience is romantic
