Great seafood, courteous staff in a surprisingly intimate soho spot. Fair warning, you're paying soho prices for your meal here!My friends and I started with a hot tea, and glasses of the Sangiovese. I appreciate how they serve plenty of wines by the glass. Another thing I like about this place is they have menus for all hours of the day so you can truly stop by at 3:30pm like we did and have plenty of options, mainly the raw bar and sushi. We ordered 7 of the Kusshi Weat Coast oysters which didn't come with the usual fixings but those weren't really needed as these had great flavor on their own.I was really impressed with the Uni Jalepeño Crispy Rice and how big the slabs of uni were. So rich and tasty.I wish they had more martinis on the menu and perhaps a discounted happy hour menu, but other than that, a great place to bring your friends visiting of family in town.

The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for a date night. The lighting was not too bright, not too dim, creating a cozy vibe. You can comfortably hear your dining partner, which is often a rare find in NYC. That said, the two-person tables are quite close to each other, so you might find yourself unintentionally participating in your neighbors' conversations. Whether that's a pro or con depends on the context..on a first date, it might be a fun icebreaker or a bit awkward if you're shy.Food:The food was delicious! The Shazam roll was hands down my favorite, absolutely incredible, and the lobster tempura was another standout.Appetizers: The crispy tuna and shrimp tempura were both fantastic starter options.Drinks:We had a couple of lychee martinis and the Lure Saketini were smooth and well-balanced.Price:For four drinks, two appetizers, and about 32 sushi rolls, our total was $300 (including tax and tip). The quality of the food, drinks, and overall experience made it absolutely worth it.

I've heard a ton about Lure and have been wanting to come here for a while. Got a reservation for 2 pretty easily a week or two ahead of time, but it was a full house during peak time. The food here was really good. The salmon tiradito was exceptional, just a superb dish and great sauce that they created. The St Tropez fish dish was really nice as well but the fish could have been seasoned slightly more. The lobster Mac & Cheese was also very good, though not too different than that at a steakhouse. The dessert was very good - we got the deep dish chocolate chip cookie and it was amazing. We crushed it and would highly recommend it overall. The restaurant is quite loud during prime dinner time. I felt like I had to really concentrate to hear the other side of the table and I could hear the folks behind me or next to me. I wouldn't call it a bad thing (the loudness is part acoustic and part really popular restaurant) but just something to expect next time

Zoya was our server on a lunchtime visit to Lure Fishbar with friends recently...We were in town celebrating our 50th birthdays and found ourselves feeling hungry after working up an appetite shopping all day. Since I had been in before and remembered loving it, my girls trusted me with the decision to dine here and it did not disappoint! We loved our meals, the service, and the overall experience!I'd suggest dining outside if it's a beautiful day and there is the opportunity to do so, but the inside is super comfortable as well. Enjoy!

I came here to celebrate a friend's birthday, and it was a fantastic choice! The place is spacious and has a unique interior designed to resemble the inside of a ship. Known for its seafood, the food did not disappoint. * Deviled Eggs: Surprisingly good! I don't usually go for deviled eggs, but these were well done. * Salmon Tiradito: Amazing--an absolute must-try! It's topped with jalapeños for a nice, subtle kick. * Tuna Tacos: Good, but not particularly memorable; I could have skipped these. * Branzino St. Tropez: Delicious! A whole fish, perfectly prepared--another must-order.I really enjoyed the ambiance and would definitely return to explore more of the menu.

The star for me was the bucatini. My husband loved everything. Drinks are good. Royal seafood tower very fresh. He is not a big sushi fan but loved the hellfire roll. We really enjoyed the stuffed lobster. Ambiance great, lively. Waiter had recommendations ready. I would go back for that bucatini.

As you approach Lure you realize it's down a flight of stairs, but think, man this is like an elegant Cheers bar, then you arrive at the double portholed doors and are instantly trasported to an old luxurious ship with beautiful wood features and a smiling crew.Absolutely wonderful dinner. The service was great, the food was even better and the only downside was that it was 40° and loud as hell in the restaurant. We managed to have a beautiful tasty feast none the less. To start us off, alongside our menus was some champagne provided for my mothers birthday, what a nice and gracious start to the night and a fun way to read through all the tasty options. I truly wanted to order 30 things and nearly did.We started with the lobster bisque and a refreshing watermelon salad, they also brought out complimentary deviled eggs topped with a caviar. The eggs were a solid addition, I love a deviled egg; the lobster bisque was just about the best there ever was, with a nice, full flavored, yet light and silky broth and succulent morsels of lobster; we went to heaven and back sharing this soup. The watermelon salad was perfectly done with a salty feta and a few intense specks of fresh chili that you couldn't find until you ate one without anything else and it really packed a punch. Very refreshing dish that you could even save for after the meal.We ordered the hellfire roll because my mom pointed out how good it sounded and she absolutely loved how fresh and tasty it was. It was between the tuna tacos and crispy rice for me but I was absolutely fine shifting gears and getting this roll and I'm not at all mad about the decision. I will say I wasn't thrilled by it; the tuna wasn't brûléed at all like it should have been and the rice felt heavy. My momma enjoyed it and that's all that matters. We were getting pretty full but our main event was coming up. Everything was perfectly timed, the staff was so friendly and attentive, the sort of excellence and elegance in a staff you don't really find anymore yet under the radar at the same time. You never really saw anyone standing around or even whizzing by, because they took care of every need and desire before you ever knew you needed it. Quite fantastic and must be mentioned how much that is appreciated. My mother ordered the steamed red snapper and I, thanks to the waiter's recommendation, went with the Branzino. ThisWasOutOfThisWorldGoooodI don't order fish often, but if this was an option I'd get it every time. The crispy delicate skin cooked to perfection over a salted spinach and potato mash that was like being lifted by a cloud. Hers was fine, mine was fantastic!Although it was my mother's birthday, we were stuffed and did not indulge in desert. I wish we found room for the strawberry rubharb crumble for her birthday because I know she'd adore, but we clearly indulged enough all night. The staff kept coming by to wish her a happy birthday and I really appreciated that. We even joked that they had a bet that they could say it 70 times, one for each yearHard to pick a favorite but, I would get a water cooler full of that lobster bisque and use it as my new source of hydration.

I came here last week with some friends for their birthdays. We had reservations for 1230 and were greeted happily and seated immediately. We shared the bacon wrapped shrimp, pork & shrimp potstickers and shrimp tempura appetizers. We devoured the bacon wrapped shrimp, I highly recommend. My friends ordered the chicken crispy club and the miso glazed salmon. They told me it was good but couldn't convince them to share LOL I got the red snapper, it was delicious and perfectly seasoned. This ended up being a quick lunch and we didn't get a chance to have dessert. We'll have to do that next time. The wait staff was terrific as well.
