Lucy's Vietnamese - Bedford Stuyvesant

Easily the best pho in this part of Brooklyn, and maybe in all of Brooklyn together with the other Lucy's locations? Just wish it were closer to me. The brisket pho is so good and very filling. If you are very hungry, add one summer roll and you will be totally full and happy, but the pho by itself is enough for most people. Generous amount of brisket in there.I like that it's not fancy and just counter service. Get in and get out. Or I imagine most of their business is take-out, but I like to sit in there. It's cozy and has all the extra things I need for a banging bowl of pho.

This may be the first time I've given a place 5 stars immediately after I ate and Lucy's Vietnamese - Bedford Stuyvesant deserves every star. To start off, you can smell the delicious food as you pass by. That and the neon ground sign was what caught my attention about this place. I hadn't heard of it before but a quick check of its Yelp stats let me know that it might be worth a stop, the next time that I passed. Sure enough, I popped inside two days later on my way to the bus. I saw the Smoked Brisket Pho on the menu and was sold. No exaggeration, my order was ready in less than 5 minutes and my server was very sweet. Once I arrived home, I devoured the Pho and immediately started drafting this review. The Smoked Brisket Pho blew me away and I've already reordered it 2 more times. I haven't tried anything else on the menu yet but if all the other dishes are even half as good as this pho, I'm in!

Ordered the brisket banh mi, lemongrass chicken vermicelli bowl, and brisket roll on seamless after reading good reviews on Yelp. The restaurant earned 2.5 stars for fast delivery & good prices. Unfortunately the buck stopped there since the food was hard to throw back. We ended up drowning it in sriracha and hoisin to mask the bad tasting meat and mushrooms. Would not order again.

One of the best food deliveries in a long time- if their delivered Pho is this good, I can't imagine how amazing it is at the restaurant! I ordered extra broth, and was able to have Pho for 2 days! The lemongrass chicken is seasoned to perfection, and the broth was so good, I had a cup for breakfast like it was tea. Absolutely perfect order, arrived quickly, their delivery bags are so sturdy and totally reusable! Love this spot.

This is a cute and comfy location, appeared to be very clean. Friendly environment and service. I had the Vegan Ginger Chick'n vermicelli, my first time trying a Vietnamese dish. I liked it, it was light and fresh. Veggies were crisp and the vegan chicken was very flavored. I wasn't crazy about the summer roll, I would have preferred less noodles and more veggies with the shrimp. And shrimp could have been cleaned more thoroughly. Would come back to try the pho bowls, I also love their cute to go bag.

I came here for lunch on a rainy Sunday. They had outdoor seating but only two tables inside. One table had bench seating and one had stools. I had the tofu pho. It was delicious. Tasty, hearty, and filling. The flavors were subtle, but they provided sriracha chili sauce which gave it a nice kick. The vegetables were fresh and crunchy. I also had the vegan ginger chick'n spring roll. It's rare and awesome to find a Vietnamese restaurant with vegan meat options. However, they put the chick'n roll on the same tray as my partner's chicken roll. We had to ask which was which so if you are vegan/vegetarian and sensitive to this, make sure to ask for separate platings. The roll had a bit too much noodle and not much of the other ingredients. I didn't taste any ginger on the chicken. Still, I enjoyed it, especially with the accompanying peanut sauce, which was sweet and savory.

Overall rating: 4.9 I'm not sure why this has low ratings. Best Pho I've ever had! I got the shrimp summer roll, iced tea and brisket pho. I got it to go & love that they packed the meat and broth separate. It's on the pricier side, so if I come back - it would only be to just get the pho. I'm more of a ramen girl, but was soo surprised that I love it so much. It was very flavorful!! I'm thinking about it now Highly recommend!

Definitely must come here. Does not have a huge selection which is also on the plus side. This way you are not staring and wondering what to order. You must try the beef brisket sandwich.

We ordered takeout at this restaurant recently and was disappointed in the quality of the food. We ordered the lemongrass chicken pho and several spring rolls as appetizers. The spring rolls were delicious,especially with the peanut sauce. However the chicken didn't taste fresh. It may have been marinated in a sauce to preserve it. The texture and color of the chicken was off and strange. We couldn't finish our meals. Perhaps their vegan options are better. I would not order the chicken there.
