We only got to try one thing since we had already eaten lunch, but I'm so glad we got something.I ordered the matzo soup dumplings (4 for sound 9 dollars). It took about 20 minutes to come out but man.. they were delicious. The only downfall is that each dumpling comes in its own tin but in a to go box, the juice spilled out. It was still good. There were some unique flavors to it (I believe dill) that made the experience special. I wish we could have tried the noodles too. Another time! This place was packed and so busy. You order at the counter and wait for your name to be called. They have very very limited seating. I'm talking maybe 5 bar seats across the wall.

Wow! This is a fun spot. It is super hole-in-the-wall, no-frills, and it's a lot of fun to sit by the counters and watch the staff work on your order in the tiny kitchen! Service was friendly, and it seems that they mostly do take out. There's limited seating, and water is self-serve. The food was very delicious. The highlight for me was their chennai roti, as the bread was flaky and warm and the stewed broth was incredibly flavorful. The braised beef noodles were also very flavorful, and the matzo ball dumplings were creative and reminded me of a soup dumpling! Would recommend this spot to those looking for some fun flavors in DUMBO :)

DUMBO's been lacking for quality eats for as long as I can remember. It's a shame since the vistas from some of these corners could really make for an exceptional dining experience if the food matched up.Perhaps for that reason this quirky small noodle shop has received more hype than it's due. I'm mostly quite humble about my (mediocre) cooking, but I do believe my Taiwanese cold peanut noodles are more compelling than their version. The spicy garlic noodles did deliver the promised punch, but without the accompanying flavor I expected.Ironically, you're more likely to be in luck if you avoid the noodles. A bite of pineapple rice and massaman curry was the best of the evening, and the truffle dumplings were a close second.

This rabbit is not lucky .. at all. He is soggy and salty and maybe added flour for thickness... tbh every flavor was off ... they also added rotisserie chicken ... YALL I CANT EVEN EAT IT. A white lady clearly owns this place. I wish I could upload pics but I cant because I ordered out and yelp doesn't think I am close enough to the business... will try to figure out a way so yall can really understand.

Really did not want to write this but sadly I can no longer recommend this restaurant after the last two times I went here. Not sure if the chef sold this place or is on sabbatical or what, but coincidentally the last two times I got food from here I did not see him and the noodles were oily, heavy and tasteless. The last straw was the other afternoon, where I found a shred of what was possibly a plastic glove or food packaging in my chili garlic noodles. I understand, sh$t happens sometimes and the staff remains kind but I just couldn't.

A casual place with menu on the wall. Lots of creativity. We got noodles with the thai peanut sauce and it was pretty good. Pokemon was playing in the background and that was a nice touch of nostalgia. There is a small counter inside to eat.

I loved everything about my delivery dinner for one, with lots of leftovers. I got the garlic chili noodles wow - showstopper. The noodles are tingly and feel homemade. The mix of veggies and peppers and crunchy textures is outstanding especially if you love garlic like I do - yum! I love spicy and was a little nervous in the description it was spicy AF - and this is the perfect very spicy for me. If you like spicy you can handle it. I also loved the cucumbers which are a little vinegary and also have a kick. I also got the house dumplings - delicious!! I was nervous about the vegan Thai ice tea but was so pleasantly surprised. I have to say I prefer this version because you can taste the coconut- wow! Can't wait for my next order. I might have to go in and thank them it's that good.

At first when I ordered the braised beef noodles, I was disappointed to learn it was not in soup. However, that feeling faded away as I took my first bites. The noodles are perfectly chewy and moist and thick. The meat is tender and flavorful. The noodles, although not in soup, contain liquid in them which gives the feeling of soup. The flavors all meshed beautifully together and I was in good heaven! I can see why they're one of the best restaurants in DUMBO. If I make the trip back, will definitely hit up this place again.

A tiny hole in the wall place in Dumbo, Lucky Rabbit has all but 10 stools inside. The menu is fairly expansive with a number of noodle dishes, rice dishes, and dumpling options. The peanut noodles are tasty but quite heavy. The massaman curry was just ok and not worth the price in my opinion. I'd probably come back to try the truffle dumplings but I would pass on the curry.

The tl;dr is that it's flavorful and amazing food with tons of vegan options with what I consider a perfect vibe for feeling grounded with the city. The staff is super friendly, it's the right price to drop by at any time and the decor is exactly what I want from a local place. The first time I visited was also the first time I walked by. The neon light, which is currently being repaired from my understanding, grabbed me and my noodle adventure began. I go back whenever I want a grounding comfort food noodle bowl (the spicy really is spicy, but imo not overly so).I do wish they were open slightly later, but maybe their hours just makes me want them more?Don't change Lucky Rabbit! (except for the neon sign, I do hope that goes back up soon :)
