Spectacular vibes!! There is a live DJ playing absolute bangers and adding to the club-like atmosphere. The lights are dim but bright enough to see your delicious food. And the music is loud, but quiet enough to chat with your friends. Also, the prices are fair for the authentic and tasty flavors of each menu item. And speaking of the menu, there's tons of options making this a great stop for even picky eaters to get the chance to immerse themselves in high end Japanese cuisine.As for the service, it was respect, quick, and cheerful. They offer customizable drinks, cocktails, meals, and desserts, all made with fresh ingredients and offering a depth of flavor. I highly recommend the tonkotsu ramen. It was flavorful and each component shined with individual flavor from the soft pork to the jammy egg to the creamy broth to the springy noodles. All in all, a great bowl of ramen that's up there with some of the most authentic ramen shops in NYC. Also, you certainly get a bang for your buck with the portion sizes here. I definitely recommend this spot for a chill, good-vibe dinner and drinks with friends that still serves up some great Japanese cuisine.

Lucky Cat was a delicious and comforting experience. I went for lunch, and they have a pre fixe menu available for $15-18. It includes salad, drink, and select entrees - a deal! Also draft beers for $3. I had the tonkotsu ramen ($19, similar to other ramen places in the city). The broth was silky and extremely flavorful without being overly greasy. Multiple layers and types of garlic flavor. Toppings with top notch and the chasu was some of the most tender I've had. They took the time to sear the toppings (like bamboo!), which gave extra smoky yummy flavor. Thin, toothy noodles. YUM!The only reason for not giving 5 stars is that the ramen I wanted wasn't on the lunch special menu. Will definitely be going back!

I've been a fan of Lucky Cat for a while - maybe 10 years now. Their ramen has always been solid - it's not a super specialty ramen that's had hype like Ivan Ramen or those spots. Came recently for weekday lunch and it's a fantastic deal. $16-18 for a small appetizer (they have good karaage) and the normal sizes ramen. +$3 for a Sapporo (which I got). Really good deal if you're in the area.We've also come here on many occasions - the big group dinner and drinks, the pregame for a night out, the post-night out food (and more beer and/or sake). It's just a really cool spot and a place I'll continue to go back to.

We were looking for an izakaya that was open before 5 and had a good menu and ended up here. The ambience is nice, lots of cute stuff and I liked the lighting and music. Not too loud either, you could definitely have a conversation here. We were seated quickly and didn't have to wait too long to order. Once we did order, the food came out very fast and was extremely good. They have happy hour everyday and have anime themed cocktails. The Sailor moon ended up being my cup of tea, and I had 2. It's sweet, but not syrup sweet and was great for cutting through the rich foods we ordered. Definitely would come again.

Super great place for post work drinks and food! Really reminiscent of Japan Izakaya that is bustling and colorful, and has easily shareable $18 pitchers. Extensive variety of apps for both meat eaters and vegetarians. We got the grilled squid, tuna crispy rice and shishito peppers. All hits. The service was pretty great considering the crowd.
