Lovers of Today is right off of Avenue A, on East 7th Street. The entrance is unassuming, but you will know you are there if you look up and see the red neon heart sign. You descend down a small staircase and the bar is to your right. There is a tiny outdoor seating area with two benches too. The bar itself is two darkly lit rooms and is not super big. It is cozy and intimate. I like that the bar and all of the tables are sprinkled with fake rose petals.Happy hour is every day from 5pm-7pm - all cocktails are $12, can't beat that. When we showed up, it was pretty quiet with a few people there. They were getting ready to close for a private event that was beginning in about an hour. Their cocktail list is posted on the glass behind the bar. Some interesting choices, mostly involving gin, rum and bourbon, along with some floral accents like chamomile and lavender. I had the Fan Mail, which was light and refreshing. Service was good and prompt. The bar accepts credit cards too. Overall, this was a very nice, intimate place to come on a Friday night. There was music playing but it wasn't super loud. The ambience was perfect if you don't want to sit in a loud bar with people yelling and talking loudly. I think this would even make for a nice first date spot as it has plenty of cozy corners and booths where you can sit with someone and talk.

Lovers of Today in East Village is a fantastic hidden gem! The atmosphere is very intimate and cozy, making it a perfect spot for a night out. I tried their Hong Kong Garden specialty cocktail--gin, fresh lemon, honey, yuzu peppers, and cucumber--and it was beautifully balanced with a refreshing kick. The vibe is laid-back yet lively, and the quality of the drinks speaks for itself.

The most magical bar in NY. It's such a vibe! We scored a cozy alcove table. Every single drink I had was so delicious. Great service. Can't wait to go back next time I'm in NYC.

Super cute little cocktail bar. We came here on a Saturday evening around 7pm, and got seats without much waiting. Amazing cocktails for a great price, $14? I was a little taken aback when it was $28 for two drinks...not used to that in NYC. Super young crowd. My friend and I were probably the oldest people in the bar. There was just 1 bartender, he is a super human, not only was he mixing drinks and keeping the tab open/close, but he was also serving water and cleaning up the tables. We got two rounds each of Handsome Devil and Astral Plane, both were fantastic. I'll gladly come back here.

The neon red heart sign is your marker; see that and you are the right spot. They have a Cute cocktail menu with Something for every type of liquor drinker. The Music is loud but not horribly so; Not too busy on a Thursday but a good vibe going. I recommend the "Another girl Another planet". It's refreshing and sweet but not too sweet. Hubby loved his whiskey drink that we can't remember the name of but it had some apple spice in it. We really liked it here. The vibe, the cocktail menu, the music, the bartenders -- all very good!

Went on a Saturday and the bouncer acted way more serious than necessary. About a billion other spots nearby. Was excited to try this place but it just wasn't worth the hassle.

Late night happy hours are the best! It's a super cute hidden little spot. I will definitely return back when I'm more sober to appreciate it fully.

Came here around 9:30 on a Friday after going to dinner in the area and it was packed! But it was so worth standing around the bad for this cocktail. I got the Hong Kong Garden and it was delicious! This is a great at place to get a quality cocktail at an affordable price. 10/10 recommend!

Stopped by on a Thursday after dinner, not too difficult to get a seat at the bar but was moderately full. Fun imaginative cocktail menu, cute theme/decor, and good music. Great bartenders -- we asked for some off-menu cocktails that were made perfectly.

Very cute and charming bar. It's the perfect walk in bar with no reservations. It's tucked away quietly behind some loud clubs.It's a nicely decorated space and definitely a good spot for a drink after dinner or for a date.You go to the bar to order drinks. They have some infused liquor drinks that are delicious. Would recommend for a small group
