I was wandering Park Slope looking for something to eat and found this place bookmarked from a long time ago and decided to give it a try. I'm so glad that I did, the banh mi sandwiches here are absolutely delicious! I got the classic banh mi with extra meat and my friend got a vegetarian banh mi and we both thoroughly enjoyed our meals.I had recently lost my wallet so I had no cash or cards on me, but thankfully this place accepted Apple Pay. The people at the counter were very kind and gave us some water while we waited for our sandwiches on this very hot day. The restaurant itself is very no-frills, no-nonsense -- just good food.If you're in search of an amazing sandwich to take with you to Prospect Park, you'd be hard pressed to beat Lotus

Well, that was disappointing, I went with a Chicken broth Pho and shredded chicken as a protein, and it wasn't good at all. The chicken felt like rubber and didn't taste like anything. All I had was the broth and the noodles, I left unsatisfied and knowing I'm not coming back here.

Low quality banh mi imo. $10.34 per sandwich - I ordered a grilled chicken and a shredded chicken, extra spicy with jalapeños. No sriracha. + bread was not toasted and very chewy. Wasn't good.+ each half of the sandwich had ONE sliver of jalapeño. Really? Super disappointing bcuz I asked for extra spicy just not with sriracha and specified jalapeños.. + grilled chicken - weird pieces of chicken (cartilage extra chewy) barely any mayo on the bread. Barely any edible meat. As mentioned - one sliver of jalapeño. +shredded chicken - more like boiled chicken cut up into pieces. It wasn't shredded. Sad one little jalapeño per half. Bread was dry and too chewy. Overall, I won't patronize lotus again. $21 (10.34+tax) for two low quality poor tasting banh mi? No thanks.

Good sandwiches and fast service! Seating is minimal and simple, but as expected - not ideal for groups of more than 2, but perfect to drop in with a friend for a quick lunch.

Very delicious bahn mi! I come here often as they're affordable and delicious. The pork chop bahn mi (spicy) is one of the most delicious and simple sandwiches. The employees are very kind and helpful. Definitely a good no-frills lunch or dinner spot but maybe better for take out as there's not too much seating!

Average Pho soup considering it had been a while since I've had it. Lotus Vietnamese was a first for me.A simple order of Summer Rolls and Chicken Pho arrived quickly and promptly. As I unpacked the bag, the broth was in its own separate container while the soup bowl contained the noodles and chicken. Packages of Sriracha and Hoison sauce were included to dress up the Pho.The shredded chicken which was white meat was incredibly overcooked. The broth was average making the overall flavor somewhat bland. There was hardly any bean sprouts. Maybe Pho soup is something that should be eaten in person. The Shrimp Summer Rolls were good and comparable to others I've had.If you feel like having Pho soup in a pinch, Lotus will briefly satisfy, but I've had much better.

Hooray for hitting all the right flavor notes in a bahn mi! Boo for being so dang far when a gal needs a hit of the real deal Viet sandwich. The place was small and no frills but all you can think of was the little engine that could, and this was the little store that did. Hop on a train or call a cab, you won't be disappointed!

This was easily the WORST PHO I have ever had!!! The broth was tasteless, the noodles mushy and the meat was sliced thick and pre-cooked so it was tough and chewy. But the most egregious flaw was the fact that the noodles were sitting on a bed of Romaine Lettuce! Yes! Not bean sprouts, Romaine Lettuce. Ugh!!! I'm traumatized to have wasted my money on this lunch. Never again, Lotus!! Who are you trying to fool with this excuse for Pho? I'm embarrassed for you.

This is one of my neighborhood go-to's. Their Banh Mi's are delicious - super fluffy bread, marinated meat and pickled carrots. So good. Plus the service is always fast and food is very affordable.
