My family thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Loong Noodle. Amidst the stiff competition of Chinese eateries on St. Mark's Place, Loong really nailed it. We quickly ordered at the kiosk three noodles: the lamb noodle soup, dry egg and tomato noodles, and the dry wan za noodles. We weren't sure what to expect with the last one, but it was a delicious mixture of ground pork and yellow mung beans with bok choy. All three dishes were excellent, with chewy noodles and flavorful and fresh ingredients. While we kept the tomato and egg noodle dish free of spicy chiles for our kids, the lamb noodle soup and wan za were delicious with the requested mild spice level. The prices at $12.99 for each bowl was also very reasonable given the quantity and quality. The interior was modern and clean, with a good number of tables indoors. Service was quick, friendly, and efficient, which were of course much appreciated with hungry kids in tow. In fact, the staff was very accommodating of our kids, suggesting an optimal table and providing toddler-friendly plates, cups, and utensils. Definitely worth revisiting when we are in the area and seeking an inexpensive casual lunch option.

If you want some quick noodles for a decent price, I'd suggest stopping by. Ordering with the iPad but food delivered to the table is a bit confusing but they seem to have it down. There is no bathroom in this establishment so be aware. A lack of free water cups is also very disappointing-- you'll instead be stuck paying $2 a bottle. The noodles themselves were very tasty. I had the beef tripe dry rice noodles and really enjoyed them. The tripe was delicious and the noodles were coated in a great sauce. Really good flavors and great texture overall. The chicken dumplings were disappointing. Chicken dumplings are hit and miss and these were a miss. I'd suggest sticking with the noodles and you'll have a solid meal.

I was walking by Loong Noodle and it smelled so good and spicy that I made a stop. It was 10 degrees out and I wanted to warm up with a hot spicy soup. I ordered a beef tripe noodle soup at the menu station. You can choose spice level (I got mild) and either rice noodle or noodle. I don't know what the other secret noodle is but I know it's not made from rice. The soup was a let down. There wasn't a lot of noodles and it seemed like they made whatever leftovers at the bottom of the bag since there were a ton of broken pieces. They were generous with the tripe though. It was extremely seasoned and reminded me of a tripe salad, maybe it's that but warmed up. The broth was flat and extremely salty. I didn't finish it even though that's the reason I came in - to warm up with soup from the freezing cold. My lips were vibrating after. It's the numbing effect from the pepper, although I will say it was more intense than I've ever had it before. It lasted probably around 5min. The decor is very minimal and modern. I was sitting at the round side table along the window and it's so small I can't imagine two people being able to fit their food on it. What I do love is that they clean right after the customer leaves so you sit at a clean and shiny surface.

Staffs were friendly. You ordered the food via the kiosk. We dined in, you can order the food to go as well. There are two tables in the middle and you can sit by the counter or the window. Ordered beef rice noodle, dry mixed beef rice noodle ($12.99 per bowl), wontons ($9.99) and Wong Lo Kat (which is $2 each). Ordered the noodles not spicy however, they use chili oil which ended up being spicy. Price was reasonable, food was spicy, not much seating for a large party.Food: 3/5Service: 3/5Ambience: 3/5

Place was bumping on a Friday evening! It's located on St Marks, along a stretch of many other restaurants (with a lot of Asian food)! I came in a group of four, and we managed to share a table. It is a bit small inside and there's limited outdoor seating, so larger groups may need to a wait a beat to get seated. Takeout also seemed like a popular option. It's nice and bright inside with neon lights decorating the ceiling and walls. The food was also good! We each got a bowl of noodles and shared some dumplings and the potato salad. I think the best noodle dish is probably the dry beef noodle with regular (and not rice) noodles and thought it was really flavorful. I personally got the soupy beef with rice noodles, which was good but I felt like the flavors didn't stick onto the noodles as well. The serving sizes are HUGE so come hungry, and is great value for the price. The dumplings were also very flavorful and perfectly grilled. I also LOVED the potato salad flavors and sauces but was disappointed that it was $10, which felt a bit steep for this usual side. Service was excellent, and I think you could tell it was a family owned business. Very friendly and quick. Would come back again!

Go try this new place on St. Mark's!They have HUGE bowls of noodles for an amazing price, considering it's Manhattan. I had the Spicy Chicken Cold Noodle, and I loved it. It's perfect for hot summer weather, with a refreshing spice (you can customize the spice level), cucumbers, peanuts, and very tender chicken. I definitely want to come back to try the soup noodles! The staff was so friendly, and the food came extremely fast. They also gave us a complimentary cucumber appetizer because it was their grand opening. I love the bright neon pink decorations and the casual yet chic vibe of the restaurant. Overall I definitely recommend.

I think it's the neon pink sign but it feels like an ice cream shop, but it's a Chinese noodle shop. We ordered the beef dry mixed noodles and chicken cold noodle. We liked the chicken a little more with the added spice. And always love a rice noodle which was cooked perfectly

The portion that you get for an order is very large. The soup base is pretty much nothing but msg so it is super salty and left me very thirsty after eating and it being spicy didn't help. Service is sort of fast as the menu items are simple. Ambience feels like a place to go if you're late at night very hungry and don't want anything fancy.

Walking into this restaurant I didn't know what to expect and I'm not even sure what brought me here in the first place. I tried the dry beef noodles with original noodles (not rice noodles) and was thoroughly impressed. The beef was plentiful and tender, melting in your mouth with every bite. The sauce was very flavorful and just the right amount of spicy. I will definitely come back!

From the first day they opened i've been a huge fan! Some of the best chinese noodles in NYC. They make their own hot chili oil and all their dishes are on another level of flavor and authenticity! Great Mapo Tofu etc. Super friendly fast service by the owner at the register and serving the indoor diners daily.
