Again, I cannot fathom the people who rate this place less than four or five stars.I came on a Thursday night. Easy to get a reservation. Was sat immediately. My first table was wobbly, so the server re-sat me quickly. Service was again, amazing. There doesn't seem to be one single server or bartender assigned to any individual table. Multiple people interacted with me and checked on me, and I actually prefer this, as it seems like a community, or a party.I got the Pikila, or choice of three, and let the server of the moment choose for me. I had the tzatziki (yogurt, dill, cucumber), muhamara (roasted red pepper, pomegranate, walnuts), and kopanisti (whipped spicy feta and chili oil). An amalgam of flavor, each boasted a different flavor profile. Would be great for a group to try together. I was unable to consume too much as a single diner, but was glad I tried.Last time I had the salmon as my main and was a little disappointed, so this time I had the marinated New York strip, which was moist and cooked to my instruction (medium). Fairly well seasoned, though maybe could have had a little more, and maybe some char. The herbed fries were excellent. Hearty portion, I couldn't even finish it all.And again, I had several drinks. Loved the cucumber based drinks--served cold and fresh. The first two were cucumber based. The others were a mix. But all were wonderful. Definitely developing into one of my village go-to's.

3.5 really. I came here for a solo lunch date on a Sunday afternoon after a shopping trip in SoHo. Easier to get a table here than their neighbors Shuka or 12 chairs. I got a glass of white wine and did the dips trio. Everything I tried was good, but not the best thing I have ever eaten with the exception of the spicy feta dip...it was amazing, highly recommend. I'd gladly come back here.

Easy to get a table on a Saturday afternoon. Service was friendly and attentive. We ordered 4 dishes from the brunch menu. French toast had a really good dough center with crispy outside and a lemon yogurt dip that made it special and stand out from a traditional French toast. Poached egg dishes were small and I wish the portions were larger. Pita was amazing with olive oil and rosemary. Coffee was basic and warm. Tables were wobbly but servers adjusted immediately upon request.

I literally went to Lola Taverna three times in the span of two weeks. Its sooo good. Each time I walked up with no reservation and was still seated, even though it was packed each and every time I went. The interior designer did a great job curating the space. There are beautiful flowers on the outside of the building, with most of its seating being out there. The inside it well lit and gives an intimate setting. The staff is friendly and helpful. There hasn't been one thing from the menu that I tried that I didn't like. My favorite order is the Pikilia with is freshly made, warm pita and three sides. Ive tried all the sides but my absolute favs are the kopanisti, muhamara and tzatziki. The Santorini salad is a good blend of veggies and for my main I go back to the Chicken souvlaki. The chicken is so juicy and the baldo rice has a great flavor. Lola is a great spot to go to for dinner with, on a date or solo eating.

First night in the city I grabbed dinner with some close friends at Lola's Taverna. The restaurant had a great atmosphere with open doors/windows to the outdoors, and a very friendly staff. This is a great restaurant to go to with a small group of friends or family! We ordered the Pikilia to start which comes with 3 dips of your choice and pita bread. The Kopanisti (whipped spicy feta) was my favorite. The Spanakopita Spring rolls were a great appetizer to share as well. The Lamb Keftedes came served over the most delicious red sauce and topped with picked red onions. My favorite dish of the night was the Shrimp Orzo. The buttered leeks and orzo paired amazingly with the shrimp which was cooked to perfection. The Chicken Souvlaki is a traditional Greek dish and perfect to share with everyone!

We enjoyed an early Sunday night dinner at Lola Taverna during a weekend trip to NYC. Lola Taverna has a beautiful, intimate ambiance with quick service and delicious shareable plates.I really enjoyed my cocktails - dirty martini & Aphrodite's coupe! As for food, we ordered 3 pikila spreads that came with incredible pita:- TZATZIKI- MELITZANOSALATA- KOPANISTIMy personal favorite was the whipped spicy feta, chili oil dip!We also ordered the chicken gyro bao buns, SAGANAKI FONDUE and the SPANAKOPITA spring rolls. The saganaki fondue is lit at the table and delicious! I loved the spanakopita spring rolls as well. The chicken gyro bao buns weren't as great as I was hoping they would be - they needed to be a bit warmer / have more kick!Lola is definitely expensive for what you get, but everything we ate was great.

The steak was SO good and creekstone farm's quality too (halal as well)! Enjoyed the octopus in hummus which was a unique combo but worked well. I thought that the dips were good but not amazing and same with the eggplant we ordered. The service was great and the ambiance is AMAZING being in soho with pretty outdoor seating. However, it is definitely NYC expensive and for the money i don't give it gets a full 5/5 but rather a solid 4/5.

Had a blast here for girls night! This place is vibey and cozy at the same time. We got seated in the enclosed outdoor area and they provided blankets and had heaters on. It wasn't a problem at all. The food was great! Lamb chops were the star of the night and nicely sized to share. Drinks were delicious. I got the spicy marg but it's named differently on the menu. Toasted halloumi came with a fiery show and was also delicious. Octopus was nice and tender but smaller portions as it was an app. Service was awesome. Our waitress was super sweet and shared fun stories. Would def be back.

Absolutely fabulous spot for a girls night out or date night. Nice ambiance and service was great on a busy Friday evening. We started with the Pikilia-- Tzatziki, Hummus and Kopanisti in addition to the Spanakopita Spring Rolls to share. These were all SO delicious. We also all ordered the Santorini Summer cocktail, which we all enjoyed. It's definitely on the pricier side, and our bill before tip & tax ended up being just over $360 for 4 people. This included 2 appetizers to share, entrees for each of us and 2 cocktails each, so none of us were shocked.

My friend and I got food poisoning from their salmon and shrimp entree. Our nyc trip was ruined. I even asked the waiter prior to ordering if their seafood was wild caught and where it was from. He did not know what that meant - barely spoke English. I submitted a complaint via web but of course their entire phone line is automated. Stay away from this place.
