Living Room Restaurant & Lounge

For starters my friend told me she was taking me out to celebrate my birthday & this was the venue & she told me take a look & see if it's my speed. So I looked and was kind of hesitant at first based on the look & other reviews but I still proceeded just to try a new place. Let me just say we went on a Saturday night and I will say I did not regret it, kind staff & service, food was prompt lols ie; the appetizers came before the drinks which is a plus for me. I didn't regret one thing I ordered on the menu which was surprising the ambiance? Definitely a calm, fun but upbeat vibe. We opted for the basement seating which was more intimate & preferred in my opinion however it does get a little warm down there so you might want to pop out for some fresh air. My only thing that was not really bad but a little side eye for me was that they started with a beautiful variety of music and as the crowds started pouring in of mostly brown people the music changed to a lot of derogatory hip hop music which says something as not a lot of us enjoy that music or are from American culture, but if you prefer to play that throw some other varieties of music to contrast that because it doesn't really portray the establishment as nice as they actually are. Overall viewers come prepared to dine in a beautiful establishment where you will enjoy money well spent & 5 mins looking for parking I was mentally prepared so it wasn't a big deal.

Ordered via Uber eats for lunch and of course they did not disappoint. It was about 240For 5 orders but totally worth it l. If you want good eats this is the place to come. You will never be disappointed believe me!

The space has a glow to it that is perfect for a date night. the actual interior is small with a huge chandelier in the middle and cave like walls by the bar area which gives it a nice ambiance. They expand it with additional seating outside of the main room, but it's still enclosed and a room downstairs near the bathrooms. Now, the only thing that would take it off my date night list is if you're not into hookah ~$40 Or don't want to hear top 100 rap all night. Now for the food. Appetizer calamari was a huge portion and tasty- not too salty, soft, flexible and not heavily breaded. My sea bass & scallop dish with an included side of macaroni & cheese gave me mixed feelings. ~$30 Sea bass and the bed of spinach were delicious. On the other hand, the scallops and the onions/peppers it was sitting on were too salty. I couldn't eat it. I'm still trying to figure out how I felt about the mac&cheese. My partner's dish was the seafood rice which only had two shrimp but besides that was tasty. One thing I can say is that the portions were big! I couldn't finish.

Food is ok ( bar food ) but the place is way overpriced it should say three $$$ to spend $150 for two people is insane !! Drinks are way over priced and that was the majority of the bill in a place that's located in a not so ritzy area or even soho manhattan which is where you'd see these kinda prices so no I wouldn't recommend this place not worth it for the mo

I came here to celebrate my friend husband's birthday. I was pleasantly surprised about this hidden gem in Brooklyn. Two burly security men greet us as we entered the business. The decor was very beautiful and staff was welcoming. The music was definitely on point. We were escorted downstairs to a private room for our party reservation for 26 people. Staff did not waste any time giving out food and drink menus. I kept it simple and ordered chicken tenders with fries. However, a few people ordered steamed mussels which smelled delicious. Although, I did not order a drink, I heard that the drinks were great. The Living Room staff handled our reservation excellently and orders came out piping hot and quickly. The belly dancers were phenomenal. Although, I did not stay long I enjoyed my time at this wonderful business. I plan on visiting again real soon.

Living room is quite a surprise! This restaurant lounge is in Bayridge Brooklyn. Once we arrived we were greeted by the host who was super friendly. We loved her! It was a girls night so we wanted to explore a new place. This restaurant did not disappoint. From the drinks to the food to the music. They also have hookah! It was a nice to remember for sure. Everything was so good and the drinks were yummy. I would recommend this place hands down!

Extremely Disappointing ExperienceI recently visited with a guest at 2:35 am, well within their operating hours, expecting a late-night dining experience consistent with my previous visits. Unfortunately, the service and overall quality of our experience were shockingly subpar.Upon arrival, we were let in, only to be met with poor food and trash service. Our drinks languished at the bar for an unacceptable 10 minutes, only to be served the wrong drinks. Even worse, when we brought this to the server's attention, she failed to offer a simple apology. When our correct drinks finally arrived, they tasted nothing like what we had come to expect.As a food and beverage manager myself, I was thoroughly disappointed with the lack of attention to detail and the dismissive attitude of the staff. Adding to the dismal atmosphere, the staff chose to play Christmas carols for themselves on a Friday night, refusing to accommodate our request for a change in music despite us being the only guests besides those at the bar. This was a total vibe killer and certainly not the experience I had hoped to share with my guest, who had flown in to spend time with me.I've been a patron fir more than 15 times, but after this experience, I have no intention of returning. Not only did the service and quality fall far below acceptable standards, but the way the server and staff stared at us added insult to injury.In conclusion, I strongly advise against visiting. if you expect even a modicum of decent service and quality. I hope that management takes serious note of these issues and works to improve the experience for future patrons.Our drink order was wrong the second round and they only had 2 tables including us! Like seriously?! I asked for my margarita on the rocks and it has no ice. The manager had the nerve to tell us they never use ice. What does on the rocks mean?! I get the same drink Everytime! Then they served it to us in a plastic cup with a lid!! This going on tik tok! My guest has over 300k followers. We wanted to do a great review on this place but it wasn't worth it!Passion fruit Hennessy margaritas and tequila with club soda! Now does this look like Don Julio and club soda or Don Julio and juice. I didn't know they had purple club soda. Got tired of speaking to the manager and server. Very dismissive. We basically paid for things we didn't order.

Great night a few weeks ago! Everything was nice from the service, drinks and food. The lamb chops were a bit salty but not terrible. The music was great all night! Overall perfect night.

Incredible place to dine; been here twice on a date. There's lots of seating available; outdoor and indoor has an upstairs & downstairs area. There's a lot to choose from the menu both food and drink wise. There's also hookah! We got full from the platter alone and the pasta is delicious. The drinks are strong! Looking forward to coming back here soon.

Literal thug security guard..walked in...didn't greet me..tried to interrogate me..I told him I'm here for pick up..he followed me in and tried to bully me..I told him I will walk in like that anytime. Been coming here for years..then threated me with violence..Feb 21 650pm..check ur staff..I'm a paying customer
