I used to own a bakery a few blocks away and this pizza joint made some really rough days and nights thru Covid and a messy expansion project so safe at night. Greasy AF, but sooooo perfectly thick, oily and flavorful. I highly, highly recommend the mushroom tomato pie/slice. Meant to take home - not a place with ambiance or proper vibes. Service is typical walk up pizza counter. Closed shop, moved to Nj and still talk about this place and recommend it regularly.

If you're a fan of Detroit-style pizza, be prepared for a very sweet-tasting slice that tends to sloppily drip onto the paper plate. At $11 per slice, it's quite fatty. However, I can't complain too much--if you enjoy Little Caesars or other commercial chains, this is a fresher option with a charm that evokes old-school Motown and retro vibes.I really want to like this place beyond its funkiness, but the pizza itself is average, despite the great customer service. It's definitely overpriced, in my opinion, but, it's a decent spot to grab a slice.I had such a great time, I'll give it a 4/5 just because of its decor.

TLDR: Not the best Detroit pizza but enough to fulfill a craving. Note that I got this for takeout, so maybe the texture changed in transit. PIZZA: Detroit style. Thick, but a little doughy. Edges are good and crispy but wish the rest of it was as good. Might have also been because we took it to go and it may have gotten a little soggy. SERVICE: Meh, it was fine. They weren't super friendly in asking us if we needed help or had questions when we were looking at the slices with different toppings. AMBIANCE: Hole in the wall. No seating, just tables to stand at.

I've been coming to LTS ever since they opened a few years ago. I'd say I'm a regular. I love this place because of its Detroit style squared pan pizza, which is a rare thing in the City. I just love that caramelized cheese crust. This time around I had the mushroom, one of my favorites from here. Of course it was delicious! That's why I keep coming back time after time.

Let's start with I love pizza. I always have had a deep appreciation for a really great slice/pie. As a born and bred New Yorker, I have watched the decline of "the slice," and because I have extremely discerning taste buds, I cannot and will not eat any old pizza. Moving along, and without checking in on Yelp for guidance, I happened upon Lions, Tigers & Squares Detroit Pizza. Although I love a classic New York slice, I'm game to try different types of pizza with a mashup of ingredients. There were many options, with or without meat. The pizzas look hearty and delicious, so it took me a minute to decide. I settled on two white squares; a mushroom square and a white cheese square that had ricotta, etc. Time wasn't on my side, so I decided to get my slices to go and ask that they be unheated, because I didn't want to have to reheat them and dry them out. I won!!! The mushroom square was so delicious. Unlike a Sicilian slice, the dough was not thick and heavy; such a nice bite! It reminded me of really good focaccia as it was light, airy and kind of buttery. The Wisconsin cheddar was flavorful and the mushrooms were seasoned and had a slightly peppery flavor. Ssoooo soooo good. When I really enjoy something, I like to eat it slow and savor flavors, but I sort of savored and inhaled my pizza. Ha ha ha! The squares are big, so definitely get them sliced in half, especially if you get two different squares. The white square was equally delicious and I can't tell you anymore you just need to go and get your own and thank me later. It's NOT a classic New York style pizza, but it's really good. The seating is very minimal. It's more of a grab and go type of pizzeria, but it's all good. By the way, I spoke with Anthony, who is one of the owners and he is a really great guy! He also informed me that they also are the owners of the famous Artichoke pizza restaurants. GO!

We came here for a fast dinner on a Tuesday night. Ordered ahead via Doordash, and the pizzas were ready within 10 minutes, which is great. This place is also CRAZY cheap; we got two small pizzas, but this was too much for two people. One small pizza (~10 dollars) that's large enough for two people in NYC is unheard of pieces!Unfortunately, the pizza itself simply wasn't great. Super dense and doughy, and you can feel the heft of each slice. None of the fluffiness or crispiness I typically want in a Detroit slice, which was pretty disappointing. There were a lot of toppings, but it didn't feel like it was cooked enough. The pepperoni had no char, and the cheese was a bit blobby. Overall too salty as well. The Detroiter pizza had these pickled peppers on top, and I usually love pickled things, but this was just overwhelming with how sour and strong they were.If you want a really cheap and filling slice, go for it! However, don't expect amazing pizza.

I'm a New Yorker through and through, but I have to admit that Detroit-style pizza is a major contender in the pizza game. It might even... perhaps... possibly... surpass the thin crust for me?! Utter blasphemy, I know.I've been to Lions & Tigers & Squares a few times, and it's one of the best around. The white pizzas are great (the mushroom and mustard ones especially, though the latter's too heavy for my palate after a few bites), but my favorites are their red pizzas, especially the Detroiter. Cherry peppers AND pepperoni AND sausage buried under the cheese? Hell yes. I also like the vodka and meatball pies. Again, I've listed pretty much everything I've ever tried here because it's all so tasty.Half a pie is two slices (and each slice is then also cut in half). With the toppings and pure heft of each bite, one slice's worth is usually more than enough to fill me up. I always love mixing and matching flavors and bringing the other half of my pie home.

The food went down hill. Used to be great. Now the deep dish pizza is thin crust. It was so thin the vodka slice I had could not hold the sauce on top. Crumbled in my hands. Also the pices are outrageous. The pepperoni slice used to be covered in pepperoni. Now just looks like everyone else pepperoni slice. Not worth $10. Go to momma too, the food is way better for the price. Never again....

This place used to be 4 out of 5 couple of years ago, when it was one of the only Detroit style pizza places in town. The other day I came back to grab a slice wow this place has gone down hill from a 4/5 rating to a 1/5. The crust was burnt and stale like it's been sitting there for longer than a day. They also reheated the pizza and it wasn't even close to being warm. I cannot recommend this place anymore.
