After the theater, my fiends and I made our way to Lillie's. I am glad I had an early reservation because it was already crowded. They were able to accommodate me by adding one additional guest to my reservation. I appreciated that. Upon entering the restaurant I noticed the ornate decor, the great music, and purposefully place antiques. One pet peeve I have is that there were no paper towels in the restroom. Those blowers harbor bacteria, and I just don't use them. OK, onto the food. I know that's what you all want to hear about. Our server was Lauti. He was very nice and attentive. Because there was so much food, In this review I will focus on 1-10 ratings for each item. Bacon Jam Crostini: "10" a def MUST try. Packed with flavor. I wanted at least 6. Brussel Sprouts: "5" They were OK, not bad. Ratatouille: "10" Also packed with flavor, and enough to share with the group. Chicken Pot Pie: "7" It was flakey, had a beautiful color and texture. The chicken could have been seasoned more. Lobster Ravioli: "8" I was creamy and had a nice taste, but I think the portion should have been a bit larger for the price. Grilled Harissa Lamb Chops: "8". Grilled/charred very nicely. Potatoes had hearty flavor that paired well with the lamb chops. I loved the way this dish was plated. Truffle Mushroom Pappardelle: "10"This was delicious. The creamy white truffle sauce and the vegetables all blended beautifully together. There was nothing missing with this dish. All of the ingredients were spot on and complimented each other perfectly. Now for the desserts:1. Bread Pudding A La Mode: "6" It was good and had good consistency, but I think the flavors would have been enjoyed more if this dish was served hot or at least VERY warm. 2. Limoncello Mascarpone Cake: "3" First time trying it. I thought it was very empty in flavor. But had a fulfilling presentation. 3. Ricotta Pistachio Cake: "3". Better than the Limoncello, but still not enough sweetness. Mocktails- whoever came up with the names is definitely in tough with the culture. I ordered "Tyler the Creator" which had fresh mint, lime and orange juice, hibiscus, and ginger. "10". This was VERY flavorful and refreshing. I think the rapper, himself would approve of this mocktail named in his honor. Overall, Lillie's Victorian Establishment was a great. It's a definite "must-do" while you are in the City. Till we eat again...

Located just off of Times Square on 49th Street, this establishment is a perfect escape from the streets that takes patrons on a journey back in time to the Victorian era.Lillie's Victorian Establishment commemorates the life of Lillie Langtry, an actress from the British Isle of Jersey who came to New York in the late nineteenth century to become a Broadway star. Organized in the style of the classic Victorian gin palaces, the interior décor, from red velvet couches and ornate, glittering chandeliers to the antique pictures and stained glass windows, with every corner offering something unique, comes from the ballroom of a nineteenth-century estate in Northern Ireland and is worth an Instagram-featured picture straight out of a storybook. The reservation was easily made on their website for brunch as first-timers before our Broadway show. Upon entering, our breath was taken away by how beautifully decorated the interior was. My partner and I were greeted by the staff to a packed house and got a high table immediately in the back. The vibe was lively and charming, enhanced by music from past eras. Seating was tight, but that's pretty typical in the city. The menu featured an array of classic American and British dishes for brunch, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner, including fish and chips, shepherd's pie, and prime rib, as well as a selection of craft beers, cocktails, and desserts. We decided on the brunch menu with Shakshuka (Eggs In Purgatory) and Steak Sandwich with Fries. We washed them down with Bellinis, which were perfectly refreshing and thoughtfully crafted. We saved room for dessert and shared the Limoncello Mascarpone cake. The food was made fresh, well seasoned, served hot, and flavorful. The staff were friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable, especially our server, Claire. The price and portions were reasonable. The theme of the restaurant decor changes every 4 months or so and was phenomenal, making it a fun, touristy attraction and worth the trip alone, which we can recommend.

We had some extra time before a show, so we stopped here to get a drink. It was PACKED! Luckily, we got there right as someone at the bar was leaving, so we actually got in.I was very excited to see the Victorian building, so I was surprised to see there was so much Christmas decor that I couldn't even see the walls. It was amazing! The service at the bar was great. We tried a sangria, passion fruit mimosa-type beverage, and I honestly don't remember the name of mine, but they were all fantastic! I can't wait to come back here to see the Halloween decor next!

Stopped by for dinner and to check out the beautiful Christmas décor. I had made a reservation about 2 months prior so we were seated right away. The hostess wasn't friendly and the hostess area was quite small and crowded. We decided to go to the bathroom first and we were told to go downstairs. The bathrooms were clean but super tight. We were both wearing coats and barely had any room in the stall. Once at our table, the server came over right away. We had two different servers throughout the night and they were both nice. My friend and I both ordered drinks and entrées. The drinks were both delicious and nicely presented. The food on the other had no flavor. I had the fish and chips and my friend had a chicken pot pie. The fish I had had no flavor whatsoever. It was hot and crispy, but bland. My friend also said the same thing about the chicken pot pie. She said it was very bland, small, and lukewarm in the middle. The vibes were nice and they had great music playing. I wouldn't so much come for food next time but just for drinks at the bar.

I absolutely love this spot. I have been here a few times and it is always hopping, but we are usually able to snag a table after a late show. The decorations and vibe are something to remember. I visited last fall and returned recently for the holiday/winter time magic. Always gorgeous and just over the top in a lovely way. Their seasonal cocktails are always delicious. For the holidays, they had a cinnamon smoked old fashioned and several other lovely offerings. Fantastic. The food I have had here has been great. I will be honest, I have only had a few things off of the menu because we come here and just order a lot of their blistered shishito peppers, which are the best I have had anywhere else and I don't know why. I swear I will try something else the next time I come. Even if I don't it's not like I lose, right?Highly recommend a stop at this enchanting hot spot.

I recently visited Lillie's and had an overall enjoyable experience, though there are a few areas that could use improvement.AmbianceThe ambiance was stunning, with over-the-top festive decorations. The theme appears to change with the seasons, which adds a fun, evolving element to the space. It's definitely worth a visit just for the atmosphere alone!ServiceWhile the staff was friendly, the service could use some attention. We noticed that it took a while to clear our dirty plates and attend to our table, which detracted a bit from the experience. On a positive note, the hostess was very accommodating and even found us a table earlier than our reservation.FoodWhen it comes to the food, there were some definite highs and lows:Standout dishes: The hummus, grape leaves, and buttermilk chicken sandwich were excellent. The specialty cocktails were creative and tasty.Misses: Unfortunately, a few dishes didn't quite meet expectations. The mac and cheese bites lacked flavor, and both the pulled pork and fish and chips felt somewhat underwhelming. The mushroom truffle pappardelle was rich and flavorful but a bit too intense for my taste.Desserts: Sadly, the crème brûlée and chocolate mousse cake didn't live up to their potential. Neither felt worth the calories.

I've come here a few times and it's always a nice spot before a show or to grab drinks. Their food is great but this time we only got the fried calamari and brussel sprouts. Love their creative cocktails and if you come during a holiday they have fun decorations up. Just be sure to make reservations or come early as bar seating fills up quick.

I love both of these locations! They have SUCH a fantastic cocktail program! I had the most amazing drink, a seasonal cocktail of theirs that was sorta like an Old Fashion but with marshmallow. Any and all of their drinks are delicious! They also are a favorite spot of mine to go for a drink and late night dessert/snack. They have GREAT truffle fries and good cakes. The atmosphere is also so fun and always a great way to end a night! Even on a busy weekend, you're usually able to find a seat or two at the bar! Love it here.

My friends and I decided to have a halloween day dinner at Lillies and it was great! A lot of other customers were dressed up in costumes and we received some surprise candy before our dinner. Wait staff were awesome, we've chatted with them and it was fun how they reacted to all of our costumes. The cocktail drinks came out delicious and all of them included fun garnishes on it. Since I was dressed as a thief I decided to get the Thieving Thespian drink which I highly recommend. The Chicken Pot Pie was nice and flaky on the top and nice and creamy on the inside!Would definitely check it out again. Also FYI they were already changing to Christmas decors on Halloween (Nutcracker displays and bears inside) so I suggest going a few days earlier if you want to see their Halloween themed establishment!
