The Library of Distilled Spirits went above and beyond my expectations in every way! From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the warm, inviting atmosphere, with its beautifully arranged shelves stocked with an extraordinary selection of spirits. Wonderfully charming bar! Seating on chairs, couches and at the bar. Books lining the walls, mainly regarding cocktails/liquor that you can pick up and read while you enjoy your drinks, named after literature/authors.The bartender who served my group recommended the Mario Vargas Llosa, which was perfection and I recommend as well if you're a matcha lover. My friend ordered an espresso martini with tequila which was quite strong, but I can understand why I didn't enjoy it as much as I'm not a coffee drinker and wouldnt order a martini drink with tequila personally.Bathrooms are a little far as this is within a hotel, so you'll need to take the elevators in the hotel lobby to a different floor.I'd love to return here again and hope the menu rotates regularly!

It's in a hotel right behind the front desk, very aesthetic interior. Keeping with the theme, the drinks are all named after authors. Great place to stop by if you're in the area.

Cool ambiance and I like that all of their drinks are named after books or authors. Enjoyed my cocktail but this place does seem bigger in pictures and more cut off from the hotel than it actually is.

I stopped into the Library of Distilled Spirits on a recent Saturday night to find the place virtually empty. The waitress was not the friendliest, but the romantic atmosphere and bookshelf-lined walls supplemented the warmth. The cocktail list was unique, and each drink was named after a renowned author. The Jack Kerouac was a delightful mixture of smooth Lunazul tequila, guava, agave, lime, and pineapple. It was sweet and smoky, and it resembled a tequila-infused bay breeze. I loved it! I was similarly infatuated with the Herbed French Fries that my friend had ordered; they were thin, crisp, and salty, and reminded me of an improved rendition of those from McDonald's. Overall, I was impressed and would definitely stop by for a quiet evening with classy drink and a compelling novel.

A library bar inside the Hyatt. I really like the decor, the glass library esque displays were very pretty. Perhaps I came too early? 7pm on a Tuesday, that it was almost completely empty and hence vibes were lacking. But I've been to other bars on random weekdays before so I'd argue it's not completely that. It's just not a moody bar - whether it be the music or dimness (it's dim but eh). The vibes are just not there. For such a great decor, it's kind of a shame. This could be *the* spot for peak romance and canoodling, but sadly it is not. This bar for some reason gave more coffee chat vibes lol which is not particularly bueno. The seats were also quite low. Fries weren't great. Drinks were fine. Come if you want a nice interior view - very pretty.

A fantastic somewhat tucked away bar inside the Hyatt. It is such a vibe in there, you have your options of comfy couches for 1-1s, circular or long tables for groups and the bar for direct access to the bartenders. They have their menu of signature cocktails but also an extensive list of various spirits, as promised from their name. We asked for recommendations on their gin and if they have any absinthe (which they did!) and both did not disappoint. I would come back here again if I'm looking for a laid back bar that is not crowded with solid drinks. Bathrooms are located inside the hotel, need to take elevator downstairs!

The ambiance here is really cool. The drinks are excellent- I recommend the Oaxacan. Unfortunately, the staff has always been subpar in my experiences. I came here at 4pm of a Saturday, right when they opened. The entire place was empty except for one table, and they said they could only seat us directly next to the one table. It was awkward. But when I asked if we could sit somewhere else in the restaurant, our waiter got so angry. I totally understand if they were about to get busy or had a ton of reservations, but I don't think asking the question warranted such a rude response. It will make me reconsider coming back.

Was looking for a post dinner drink and saw this place was highly rated. Service was a little slow but friendly once we did get a server. It was relatively quiet so wasn't sure why it took awhile to get help. Inside is large and beautiful. The ambiance is truly unique. The seating at the bar is limited but there are small tables all around the perimeter of the bar with couches and pillows etc. One strange item are these wooden chairs that look like they should be in a saloon. They don't fit the interiors vibe. Our drinks were great. Very very good and priced well. This bar is in a hotel, so as long as you have no issue with that, you will love the cool vibe!

This is a cute bar with a cozy ambiance located in the Hyatt hotel! I got a cider. The menu said it was $8 but when the bill came, it was $10.... So not sure if their menus are updated. My friend got a cocktail that he enjoyed.
