The most random find turned into the best gem of a place!!I picked this place since it was in between me and my friend and looked decent. That's it and nothing else really. We both ordered the burger, which I was expecting just plain old regular bar food but this burger was incredible. Im talking mouth watering, juicy, real high-quality tasting burger. Really shocked me!Then.. all of a sudden it turned into a trivia night! My friend and I ended up staying for hours having way too much fun. This place has become a new local recommended spot I tell my friends

I got invited to a friendsgiving influencer event and had a blast. I love attending these types of events because it exposes me to new establishments that I wouldn't otherwise know about. The food was absolutely delicious as well as the cocktails & ambiance. The staff was attentive & super friendly and provided great service. The Dj had the place rocking!!!! The oxtail french dip on baguette was insane. The deviled eggs was also delicious as well. I'll definitely be back to try out some more menu items & tasty cocktails. IG:thefunfluencer

What a cute spot. We came to Le Pistol after walking down Washington, looking for a dinner spot and seeing how much that area has changed. So many places closed Le Pistol was a pleasant surprise. It's spacious yet quaint, which is hard to pull off in NYC. The menu is straightforward and lots on there I wanted to try!We ordered two dirty martinis and the salmon kale salad and veggie burger. Everything was deliciousssss. I saw some reviews on the service. I found the service to be very friendly and accommodating. And I appreciate it's a spot you can sit back, chill and not feel rushed. Maybe some people are rushing their dining experience....just sayin

Ugh the food was amazing! The service was good, everyone was pretty friendly & explained the menu. The espresso martini was great, would recommend even for folks who aren't into pumpkin spice, that flavor isn't too strong. The caesar salad & burger went so well together. The burger wasn't overwhelming at all & the perfect meal after a happy hour. It was a quiet diner like setting & would be cute for a quick bite or date night.

I came here with a few friends for some food and was pleasantly surprised to see there was a happy hour special, which we happily indulged in. At the time, the special was a beer and burger for $19, which was really good value. Just note, the beer wasn't a full pint. The burger was tasty as was the fries (which were also on happy hour). The interior was decorated nicely too - it did remind me of France, but our table did feel a little cramped. Pretty good spot for their happy hour specials.

Word of mouth is spreading among Brooklyn Foodies! This is the go-to place for weekend brunch. The food coming out of the kitchen look like art pieces and these are generous portion sized meals. Le Pistol definitely gives customers their money's worth.Service is top notch and the staff smiles more than the staff at Trader Joe's. The kind of restaurant for families and first dates.

Came here recently with a few friends. It was quite warm inside, which was a bit unpleasant. Service was friendly and helpful. I ended up ordering the happy hour special of a beer and a burger, as well as some happy hour fries. Overall, everything was pretty solid. The beer is smaller than a pint, but was still refreshing given the heat. I thought the burger was extremely flavorful. Overall, the happy hour specials were really good value, and I probably will come back for them again sometime.

The new spot is now open and while I'm still a wee bit sad at the closing of the previous eatery, this place can definitely become a great replacement! 1st- it looks bigger! I'm sure that's b/c its the windows not being stained glass anymore allows more light to come in. It feels very homey w/o losing style. I love a stool w/ a back b/c in my old age I need the support, so even though the bar stools don't have backs I'm still pretty comfy. 2nd- I wanna know who came up w/ the idea for Oxtail French dip Baguette? They need a gold medal! It's ridiculously good and I'll be fighting myself to not get it every time. The price will help me leave it alone ...$30 for a sandwich, but damn it's good. I actually will have the other half for lunch today. LOL! My companion had the fried oyster sandwich and an order of fries on the side. one moment it was there the next it was gone. Safe to say they thoroughly enjoyed it. We also enjoyed the Breakfast porn drink....soooo tasty. 3rd- The service was wee bit slow, but they just opened and were super attentive and nice. I trust this will be rectified after they get into the groove. I'm sure I will frequent this way too often!

Le Pistol sounds like the title of a Jean-Pierre Melville gangster movie, but in fact is a neighborhood French bistro in Prospect Heights. It's not a bad spot for a quick drink - I opted for a kir royale and a French 75 - but is probably not a destination eatery or bar. The Caesar salad had a nice freshness, but I found the black garlic served with the fries a bit pungent (and I've otherwise previously loved this topping elsewhere).

Went in for brunch ordered two sandwiches and waited for a total hour before having to flag down the waitress. When asked how much longer the wait will be for our food she simply responded "food???" as if that was her first time hearing of such a term. We didn't have any drinks just water and they thought "those people in the corner with nothing to eat or drink and increasingly desolate looks on their faces are good for another hour like that. That is good for business.". Finally we got our sandwiches after having an actual ticket for them go to the kitchen and the kicker is they were literally the most mid sandwiches of our lives. We would have been better off just leaving. And no comp for the wait too which was the nice cherry on top.
