Came here with friend for dinner.Absolutely a gem that perfectly balances sophistication and comfort. Love its sleek, modern interior design. The lush greenery integrated into the decor creates an atmosphere that feels like dining in an elegant indoor garden.Such an ideal spot for an intimate dinner or a stylish celebration. Each dish is well presented and flavorful. The vibrant colors and artful plating were aesthetically pleasing. The ingredients were fresh and the depth of flavor elevated the dining experience. The service was attentive and we enjoyed our conversation with the waitress.Definitely will come back!

My husband and I came here when they still had their 1 Michelin star and had a wonderful experience and we were excited to come back to celebrate Valentine's Day this year. However, we could not be more disappointed. We debated and opted for their 4 course valentine tasting menu and here are my thoughts of each course: We were first presented with 2 tartlets as amuse bouche and it wasn't a very good start. One was catfish and the other was tuna. Both were very underwhelming with the catfish leaving a very fishy after taste. The tuna was also dry and under seasoned. I was also wondering why both bites were fishes and wished they had some variation. CURED HIRAMASA, RUBY RED GRAPEFRUIT, AVOCADO MOUSSE, ROYAL KALUGA CAVIARThis dish is visually beautiful. However, everything was under seasoned. The fish had no taste, as with the grapefruit for some reason. The sauce added nothing to the dish. The only thing I could taste was the saltiness from the caviar. I was expecting a refreshing citrusy dish but it was not very flavorful. Another thing was I wish I was given a spoon as it was quite difficult to put all the components on the fork. I realized it's best to eat all components together at the same time but I was struggling to put everything on the fork without it falling apart. Maybe having a spoon which would enable me to taste the sauce would've made this dish better. KING CRAB, SOFT SCRAMBLED EGG, BISQUE, PÉRIGORD TRUFFLEMy husband and I debated between this tasting menu and ordering à la carte. This was actually the dish that made us decide on the tasting menu as it wasn't available à la carte and I really regretted my decision because this was the most disappointing dish of the night. The king crab was tasteless and all I could taste was salt. The scrambled egg, although was soft and creamy, I felt there was too much butter which over powered the rest of the components including the truffles. I've never had truffles that could be overpowered. Another thing was I had a little piece of shell in my dish which I don't think is acceptable.ATLANTIC RED SNAPPER, YUZU BEURRE BLANC, SMOKED TROUT ROEWhen we were presented with the dish, there were very little aromas which was in contrast with our previous experience. I remembered the aromas were strong and pleasant before where it already triggered my senses prompting me to want to dig into the dish immediately. The snapper, although not the best one I've had, was decent and well seasoned. But I wished the skin was a little crispier. However, I didn't taste any yuzu in the dish and it was too salty to my liking when paired with the trout roe. I am not a fan of cheesecakes but they were nice enough to let us change up the desserts and we chose the butterfly and the Mont Blanc.THE BUTTERFLY, YUZU MOUSSE, RASPBERRY COMPOTE, PISTACHIO SABLÉThe butterfly was refreshing, not overly sweet as it had a great balance between the yuzu citrus and raspberry. The pistachio sablé gave another level of texture so it's not all mushy. CHESTNUT MONT BLANC, CALAMANSI SHERBET, CRISPY MERINGUEThe portion of the chestnut paste was small but I like how it's not too sweet. The actual Mont Blanc sits on top of the calamansi sherbet but I realized I can't eat it with a 1:1 ratio as the sherbet is too sour and overpowered the chestnut. It was perfect when it was more like a 2:1 chestnut to sorbet ratio. The meringue was too much and too sweet to be eaten by itself so I added a little bit to be eaten together with the other components to enhance the texture. Overall, I can see why they lost a star. Their dishes have been similar throughout the years with not a lot of changes but with decreased quality. The meal was underwhelming and not memorable and I could not be more disappointed. Kudos to their pastry chef who saved my meal and at least made it a little more enjoyable for me. In the hindsight, I think it would've been a better choice to order à la carte. We would've had more choices to choose from and their portion size is a lot bigger. Ordering a 3 course meal would've been a lot less than what we paid for their tasting menu but with bigger portion size. As for their service, although everyone was friendly, one of the server forgot what's in the dish when explaining it to us. He stopped midway through his sentence and just told us to "enjoy the dish". I've never had that experience before and thought that was odd. Another thing was throughout the entire meal, no one came and asked us how's our meal. Maybe because I didn't really dress up as I recently had a foot surgery and didn't feel like dressing up especially in this snowy, slushy weather but that shouldn't be a reason for their lack of service. I'm sad about this recent experience as this used to be one of my favorite restaurant in the city. Losing the star should be a wake up call and I really hope they will step it up to improve their quality and service.

This place has been one of my all time favorite restaurants in the city! And this is not even my second time here, but decide to write another review after many visits! Their foods are consistently GOOD! Taste/presentation/ favor combination! Love how they always have different menu per season, while keeping their iconic dishes with seasonal favor, also added different options on the menu!Desserts are always our favorite also! Must try! Drinks got improved, not so Instagrammable but taste very decent! Service remain outstanding! Ambiance is cute for celebration- like dinning in the garden- vibing with their name

The food is great. The service was okay but a little slow at the beginning. The highlight for us was the dessert - it's a Valentine's Day special and it is so good, truly reminding me of desserts I had in Parisian fine dining restaurants.

The food ambience and service were all perfect. The restaurant really deserves its Michelin star. The menu itself was inspired and reflective of the creators journey, which is a Vietnamese mother with an Italian father training in France, using traditional French techniques with Asian Japanese influence where he furthered his culinary abilities.Every single dishes executed to perfection and the manager was able to accommodate for mocktails .The seasonal nature kept everything fresh

Overall experience was a very nice time. When you walk in, you're greeted with a le labo scent from their burning candles that relaxes you. Everyone is dressed well and it feels like a luxurious experience. We ordered off the a la carte menu and got burrata, scallops, pork belly, salad, tagliatelle with black truffle, salmon, and beef tenderloin, agnolotti, the Butterfly, and chocolate cremeux. My favorites were the scallop and the butternut squash sauce, the tagliatelle, and the Butterfly dessert.

Everything here was very bland when we went earlier this year. Food was nothing special and felt one dimensional. (No wonder they lost their Michelin star!)

I came here just before lunch ended for the two course restaurant week lunch. I was running late and the staff accommodated me. The service was welcoming, and some of the regulars were pleasant, which made me feel accepted. I had what is considered a Meatless Monday lunch, so I ordered the chicory salad with green apple and pine nuts as a starter. This portion was relatively generous. I only ate half of the salad and took the rest to go. For my entree, I ordered the infamous Carolina gold rice risotto with mushrooms and cheese. I loved the presentation of this dish. It was too pretty to eat. The combination of ingredients consumed together was amazing. I want to return to dine here and try other dishes and desserts.

On a trip to NYC one of our goals was to eat at a Michelin star restaurant. Le Jardinier was close to our hotel, and became the perfect choice. We made reservations on Open Table. The restaurant decor is modern, sophisticated, and very nice. Our waiter was informative yet concise, giving us the info and service we needed without being intrusive. Looking online we were planning on ordering the 5 course tasting menu with wine pairing, but as our luck would have it, it wasn't being offered because of NYC restaurant week . So we picked from the a la carte menu. However, the Sommelier gave us some outstanding wine picks to go with our courses. We ordered the Scallops and Pork Belly as appetizers. Both were delicious, however, it was conclusive that round one went to the Scallops. By far the best scallops I've ever had, cooked to perfection! The pork belly was also fantastic. The play of flavors in the dish were a delight. Our sommelier paired it with a Rose, and it only enhanced the appertizers. For our main course we ordered the Salmon and Wagyu steak. This round by split decision went to the Wagyu. Both were incredible! It's hard to put into words how well thought out all of our plates were. From presentation, to flavor profiles, exquisite. The wine pairings, were again right on point. A must try IMO. One to go out of your way to enjoy.
