Heard great things about this place so I decided to give it a try today. Got the caramelized biscoff heart cake and it was veeerrrrry creamy with just the right amount sweet with a bit of tart from the raspberry filling. The biscuit on the bottom had stayed in place with some sticky substance. Couldn't tell what that was made of.

Beautiful Malaysian owned bakery in the East Village, offering desserts you will not find anywhere else in the city. In addition to whimsical cakes and other patisserie, their case contains a variety of Kuih. These are bite sized sweet snacks made from glutinous rice, coconut and gula melaka (palm sugar). I selected 4 desserts, and the friendly cashier informed me that I qualified for a free espresso drink of my choice! This was a pleasant surprise, and the cappuccino was exceptional. My choices were the Mango Sticky Rice Tart, Pandan Matcha Mille Crepe, Black Sesame Passionfruit patisserie, and Kuih Lapis "Indonesian Rainbow", featuring colorful coconut scented layers. Every dessert had balanced flavors, expert craftsmanship, and was not too sweet. Highly recommended.

I used to come here often when it first opened and loved their calamansi and passion fruit cake, their nian gao, serimuka and their ube and durian roll cakes were also our favorites. This used to be my go to dessert place until that one time we preordered a calamansi and passion fruit cake for my MIL's birthday and everything was just wrong. The cake batter seemed raw, the cream cracked and was literally sliding off of the cake. We ended up contacting the shop and were told they mistakenly used the wrong flour and they ended up giving us a refund. It's been a good year since I've ordered anything from here but I was intrigued by their lunar new year special auspicious mandarin cake so I gave it a try. The cake was beautifully decorated and very festive for the celebration. The flavors were well balanced between the citrus from the mandarin and the sweetest from the lotus seed and almond paste. The only thing is I personally think there's too much mousse and would have liked to have more of the almond cake as I could hardly taste it and it would also be nice to balance out the texture because everything was just really mushy. I still think their best items are their nian gao, which has a great ube or pandan flavor, with perfect bouncy, QQ texture, as well as their serimuka in which it's not only aesthetically pleasing and pretty, the sticky rice also has the perfect chewy texture combined with their smooth flavored custards. I especially recommend their durian serimuka if you're a durian fan. Aside from the cake fail, I do think their staff were always nice and friendly. Customer service was great as they were quick to respond. I would still go back for their nian gao and maybe when they have holiday special items available.

We visited this spot a few weeks back and it was such a great spot for tasty desserts! It's a quaint spot that is easy to miss if you're walking by but I highly recommend popping in for a treat or two. There is a good variety of desserts, ranging from pastries to cakes to panna cotta, and they're all really cool flavors! We opted for two of their most popular desserts - Pandan Panna Cotta and Rose Kuih, which is a steamed layer cake. The Pandan Panna Cotta was absolutely amazing and came with a small packet for you to squirt the brown sugar into the dessert. If you're a coconut lover, you're in for an extra treat as the dessert also comes with toasted coconut on the top! My favorite was the Rose Kuih - it was so subtle and the perfect amount of sweetness. It's a steamed layer cake that is soft and chewy and made from coconut milk and tapioca flour. It was so good!! I would have easily bought 5-6 pieces if they had more. Overall, this is a fantastic dessert spot that I highly recommend checking out if you're in the area!

A Christmas party without a yule log is incomplete. Among the numerous yule log options in NYC, I chose Lady Wong's chestnut Bûche de Noël. Lady Wong is a patisserie celebrating Southeast Asian flavors. Their cakes are artfully blended with French techniques and aesthetics. I always appreciate the elegant design of their cakes. *Chestnut Bûche de Noël $69.88This yule log was a beautiful work of art. It looked elegant with the edible snowflake candies and velvety cream piping. Under the thick and creamy vanilla mousse, it revealed a delicate center of chestnut filling and earl grey compote. Underneath it was a crunchy chestnut biscuit. I wished the it had a higher ratio of chestnut cremeux, but overall the flavors were unique and harmonious altogether. Sadly this cake is no longer available, but make sure to keep an eye of their seasonal drops.

Tiny store front tucked away on one of the East Village food streets. Clean & upscale feeling vibe. A few tables inside the tiny space, if you'd like to enjoy your dessert in house. Pretty & tasty desserts. We got $12 Mont Blanc chestnut crepe cake slice, $9.28 black sesame passion fruit pastry and $9.28 Ube blackberry pastry. Stunning presentation. Delicate flavors--for everything we tried. Appreciated how very light and not sweet all the pieces were. We enjoyed and did not feel heavy or disgusted with ourselves afterwards. Skip the chestnut crepe cake--it was the simplest flavor profile of all and you can get something like that at many other dessert spots. The black sesame and ube blackberry pieces were unique and worth trying. Appreciated the delicate flavor profiles. Very light textures and satisfying bites--quality dessert. No restrooms indoors.

What a cute little shop for Asian treats! However the one that I wanted was only available in cake, not slice and I couldn't eat an entire cake on my own. I got the matcha Mille crepe cake instead which was light and fluffy but not overly bitter. It was the perfect balance.

Amazing desserts with plenty of vegan-friendly options! I tried their ube and pandan nian gao, and wow -- they were incredible. Perfectly chewy and not overly sweet, just how I love my Asian desserts.

I ordered a white sesame birthday cake here, and it was absolutely amazing! The flavor was unique--nutty, fragrant, and not too sweet, which I really appreciated. The texture was light yet rich, and my friends couldn't stop raving about it.On top of that, the cake looked beautiful in photos--simple yet elegant, perfect for the occasion. The staff was also super friendly and made the ordering process really easy. Definitely my new go-to spot for special occasions. Highly recommend if you're looking for something different from the usual flavors!
