Omg!!!! HORRID! DO NOT WAISTE YOUR TIME NOR YOUR MONEY!The steak empanadas were old and greasy looked and tasted liked they were refried or reheated several times! The steak nachos supreme had too many onions had a bitter sour taste like it came from the cheese or the very little bit of steak pieces that I had! The nachos looked and tasted like they were reheated a few times!NEVER AGAIN!!!!! THIS WAS MY FIRST TIME AND MY LAST!No wonder the place was empty!I gave one star for the super sweet girl at the register!$20 thrown away with the food! Not fresh at all!!!!I'm so disgusted a bite only of each and I wanted to vomit! The place seemed clean but I took my order to go so was not long there to tell!Health department seriously needs to check the kitchen and their stock!!!I am beyond disgusted! Toco Bell is 100% better food and cheeper!

This place has been around forever! My husband and I usually order from here. We love the cemitas, nachos, and shrimp ceviche. The prices are reasonable and the food is delicious. We've never dined in. If you're looking for a place to order Mexican, this is it!

Sad. This was my first time ordering and definitely my last. The tacos have no flavor and it's just onions and sprinkled cilantro. The "nachos with meat"... even more sad. I don't know which part of the plate is nachos. It was small, and they used like the taco shells on places it on the bottom... NOT REAL NACHOS. So basically I was peeling and eat it a taco. It was bland chicken, cheese, beans, WHOLE sliced tomatoes and strings of lettuce. I've never had bad Mexican food before because they're usually flavorful but unfortunately not here. The empanadas were meh-nothing in it besides bland dried meat. Yes, they were late as well but wouldn't be an issue to me if the food was good. There's actually another Mexican place 3-4 blocks away from them. 10x better.

Let me tell you, La Villita was really cool. There was absolutely nothing to complain about here. I will have to tell you, their Grilled Chicken is absolutely delightful. The staff is absolutely a highlight of this place because they are always quick, courteous, and provide service with a smile! We can not wait to go back.

I've came here once before covid and just recently for pick up. I kinda feel iffy in there since I don't speak Spanish and I feel that I can't explain what I want correctly. But I got a chicken burrito with everything in it, sauces on the side. It was a pretty good burrito, due to covid it seems that the prices have gone up. It was $9 for a medium sized burrito (less packed than Chipotle for reference). They gave a few pieces of lettuce and 1 tomato as a "salad" in the box. When I came in to pick up, I let the hostess know that I'm here for pick up and she took a bit to locate my order even though it was right in front of her. But she was very friendly. There was no one in the restaurant, they do have a sign that says they require proof of vaccination in the front but not sure if they are actually implementing it. I'm not sure if I'd get food from here again since it's a bit expensive for the amount you get. But thank you!

Best and most authentic Mexican food experience in brooklyn. The food here is just unbeatable if you're looking for the real deal because this is it. The staff is incredibly friendly and always helpful and attentive. The food is always made with care and comes out looking beautiful. The interior is also really cool looking. Kind of retro and super cute! Really the perfect place to go have a meal, drink, relax and all without putting a dent in your wallet :)

We had a great day, visited the NYC Transit Museum , I recommend this as well. Then my always hungry BF lol, suggest we get some Mexican food. He suggested Mezcal, but I am not impressed. So we looked up a neighborhood restaurant and we choose La Villita. We were the only patrons so we were able to request a recommendation and Jessica did not disappoint. A Margarita and a few Coronas were had as well. Everything we had topped each other No kidding she was so sweet knowledgeable and of course attentive, we were the only table but Wow so pleasant .The food was delicious BF had the highly recommended Aztec soup once his spoon went soup to mouth he didn't look up sometimes between slurps and offering me a taste, I didn't because I do not eat poultry or meat, he was in his glory, He also had the Bistee ala Mexicana not spicy, and I had the shrimp fajitas, we couldn't stop saying how delicious our dishes were and he also had coffee and we had the flan.Jessica made us feel welcome and she answered all our questions with a cheerful disposition. Definitely going back.A ++++++ all around Thank you.
