It was an amazing night! My husband and I visited his family in New York and wanted to celebrate his birthday at a slightly fancier place. Everything was perfect--the food, service, and vibe. I absolutely loved their seafood tower and rib-eye steak. But the real highlight was their ice cream. It's a bit pricey, but absolutely worth trying!

Officially getting a reservation wasn't easy, but Sunday at 5pm won us over and that early dinner was all I needed for the whole day. I mean this wholeheartedly.. I didn't eat anything but an apple for breakfast and the dinner at La Tête. I had a hunch my body wouldn't have the capacity for more than that, and boy was I right. I ordered the Big Apple cocktail. This was refreshing and lovely. If you like mezcal & tequila you'll be delighted. My friend was pleased with her Manhattan, so whatever you order I'm sure will be made to your liking. Now I must make a comment on the service. I was drinking my water out of the beautiful seamless glasses provided and noticed something.. I wasn't sure if something was in the cup or on the cup so I inspected but lifting the glass and as I was trying to determine what it was, a waiter came out of nowhere and asked if there was something inside. I said yes but it's not big deal and he took the glass and said it would be replaced. Literally 2 seconds after another waiter is walking toward me with a new glass. And 1 second after that, I have fresh water being poured in my glass. The wait staff was impeccable! I've never had that kind of service. Ever! I wasn't even interested in commenting on the glass, for me it wasn't a big deal, but thank you so so much for paying attention. I sometimes feel like I'm overlooked but this place makes everyone feel like they matter. Thank you!!!!!!For the main event: the food! We ordered the bone marrow app and the mussels. Now the mussels were delish, a little rubbery for me, but seasoned very well. And the bone marrow was perfection! The flavors tasted like a ruben sandwich! Ugh! Like how did they do that?! So so soooooo good! We both decided on the prime rib for dinner which comes with the potato puree snd creamed spinach. The sides are heaven. Now I love greens, but I'm usually not a big spinach eater because it makes my mouth dry (is that just me lol), but the spinach and the potato puree were both so wonderful!! I mean they paired so well with the prime rib. And the rib was so good. Seasoned deliciously. And the sauces and shaved horseradish were a fantastic compliment. Truly. Plus the bonus horseradish cream. Love love love!! I still love my 4 Charles tho.. but this place is quite good too. Now of course with all this food, we couldn't eat it all haha.. but we had it boxed up and I, decided to fill my belly past capacity and order dessert like the masochist I am lol. Ordered the soft serve with caramel. I loved every single topping. All were really good but the vanilla ice cress cream on its own was actually lovely. Fresh vanilla flavor came through and was really really good. Worth the pain! Haha! We both had a great time. Will for sure come again and would most definitely recommend and I'm lucky I have all the leftovers so I can make another delicious meal at home :)

With the hype , I could only get a Monday 5pm reservation.. I was a bit hesitant as I like a good vibe . Clearly I didn't realize despite being a Monday , it was buzzy . It's no surprise as the place is gorgeous, super high ceiling and quite similar to eleven madison park around the corner . It might be the same building or just has a similar structure . The service from beginning to end was great from the hostess, to the servers , Sommelier and the manager . I enjoyed sharing alll the dishes with my two gf's, the seafood tower for 2 ( good for 3), scallops paired with blanc de blanc followed by the steak , two sides (broccolini and bravas) and house made pasta . Just when we thought we didn't have room , we decided to order the Pecan joconde. We are celebrating my friend's 30th after all so having a piece of Cake is a must . I also enjoyed the red wine (beaujolais ) recommendation by the somm ( I wouldn't expect a less quality wine in such an establishment ).My only wish is that I hope I can afford to dine here more often . For 3 people , all that food plus 2 bottles of wine cost ~$900, money well spent !

If you're in the mood for an unforgettable prime rib experience, there's one place in the city that definitely delivers! LTD serves some of the finest cuts of prime rib around, making it a must-visit for anyone seeking the ultimate indulgence.Let's start with the star of the show: the prime rib -this dish is nothing short of spectacular. The meat is tender, juicy, and perfectly cooked. The seasoning is exquisite, a balance of salt, pepper, and herbs that allows the natural flavor of the beef to shine. The outer crust is beautifully charred, while the inside remains melt-in-your-mouth tender with just the right amount of pink at the center. The side dishes also elevate the experience. The mashed potatoes are velvety and rich, complementing the beef without overshadowing it. The creamed spinach is rich and savory yet flavorful, and the roasted brussels are perfectly caramelized, adding a sweet, smoky contrast to the richness of the prime rib. However, minus one star due to service. Undeniably friendly but maybe a bit too eager to chat when you're trying to enjoy a quiet dinner. There's a fine line between attentive service and over-sharing, and on this occasion, the latter crossed that line a few times. From conversations that can drag on and interrupt the meal's natural flow to hearing about his life story and recent move from Williamsburg into a rent controlled apartment in Astoria, we were not prepared for a full blown biography.Despite the overly chatty service, the food makes up for it. It's clear that they take pride in their culinary craft, and the prime rib is absolutely worth the visit. Just be prepared for a few extra minutes of chit-chat before you can dig into the main event.Dinner took almost 2.5 hours! Probably could have taken less without the chit chat.

Came back and continue to be in love with the prime rib here. We got two orders this time instead of just one. My husband also loved the seafood salad Louie, and we both loved the scallop lemon pasta with caviar. The waitress highly recommended the crab cake, which we were disappointed in (the edges were nice and crispy but we didn't love the interior of the cake itself). We ended with the soft serve, which was a delight that came with a small sample of toppings to choose from. They have a few different private room options, which we will likely take advantage of one of these days as well.Over all, highly recommend for the prime rib!

The food was interesting with a variety of steak cuts and origins of wagyu. They offer additional butters and sauces. Vegetables and a long list of potatoes cooked in a variety of styles. The appetizers of seafood plateaus, lobster bisque and a broad selection of appetizers, salads, and soups. It's French Lyonnaise and classic American by Daniel Boulud. The desserts and drinks are appealing too. The service is good and helps the customers. The atmosphere is gold like the name with nice colors palettes and decor. It's relaxing and elegant.

We had a really great experience here. The seafood tower for two was excellent and well priced for what it came with. I also thought the steak frites were delicious and again, quite reasonably priced. The prime rib is very good as well. The soft serve sundae was great to end the meal.
