The food is absolutely delicious. It's authentic Dominican dishes and they are very very generous with portions. I stopped in and got 3 full meals along with a delicious salad that sorta taste like pico de gallo but better and an appetizer which was a stuffed yuca ball. I tried all the dishes but my favorite was the sautéed ribs and arroz Moro. Each dish came with a side of Yuca and it was delicious. I'd say they're very reasonably priced as well. The corn beef hash dish was my least favorite because I feel it did lack some flavors but overall it was still decent. The restaurant is super small. No space to sit down and eat, it's more like takeout and go but it's worth it. The customer service was lacking and I wasn't greeted but I'm not mad at that, my hunger was taking over me lol.

I decided to try this place for dinner because I found them on TGTG and it was available for pick up while I was walking around. This place is a little hidden gem! The food was so tasty and even though I ordered through TGTG, the prices on the menu were also a good deal. The service was quick and the workers inside were very nice and got me everything I needed in an instant. I highly recommend getting food from here! You will be happy with the amount of food and the efficiency.

I found la Cocinita Mia on Too Good To Go and it was absolutely delicious. If you order through that app, expect a hefty plate.Outside of Too Good To Go, they also have really well priced dishes to begin with. We had a tray with rice and peas, chicken thighs, and pasta salad. The pasta salad was a little plain, but the creaminess paired well with the rice.I took this and a TGTG dessert to the park nearby. 10/10

So my coworkers and I decided to order from this place because we love Dominican food. The first time we ordered we got the family combo-Baked chicken. The chicken was phenomenal! Flavorful, juicy with crispy skin, beans were flavorful. The sweet plantains were also delicious . It was an overall great experience. Today we ordered another family combo this time we did the Chuleta fritas. What we got was something totally different. We got cut up fried Ham. YES HAM. Like Thanksgiving ham!! I was furious. This is not fried pork chops nor did we order that. The plantains were also old and/or stale. Can't believe this experience is so drastically different from my first.

I live across the street from Gran Canario, but have walked by this place a couple of times and decided to give it a try. It was very good, and the service was much more helpful...I like Gran Canario, but it is always a little bit of chaos.Just tried the pernil, but it was very good, came with a green sauce which was a nice touch, and the portion was a pretty good value.Look forward to giving it another try.

No nonsense buffet situation with an assortment of stews, salads and rice and beans. I had the oxtail and pork with rice and beans. Everything was flavorful and yummy. It was a heaping amount amount of food for about 11$

This place has recently opened up, and I sure am grateful that they did. My friend suggested we come here and since the. I have ordered food from here several times, and each time it is delicious. The rice here is simple, and the beans are very flavorful, which work splendidly together. The stewed beef (carne de res guisado) is my favorite item to order. The chicken soup is also very savory. And the potato salad here reminds me of the ones I have had in Brazil. Thank you for the food!
